Ny i Inre Skandinavien : Webbaserad Personutställning - Ett verktyg för visning och underhåll av intervjuer

Some people do not have the opportunity to visit a physical exhibition because of limited time or long travelling distances, it is here the need for a web-based exhibition arises.This dissertation describes the development of an interactive web-site representing a part of a physical exhibition of over 200 Interviews on different peoples immigration to inner Scandinavia. The Interviews contain text, audio clip, pictures and video clip.The website contains modern programming technologies such as HTML5, ASP.NET MVC3, SQL, JavaScript and jQuery.A cover of the technologies used and how the project has been designed and implemented is explained in the dissertation. In the end of the dissertation we discuss about how the result of the project follows the goals we set up in the start phase. The result of this project is an interactive and easy to use web-site showing a part of the physical exhibition online. An easy administration to insert new information and edit existing without any major computer knowledge..

Förtätning av film till stillbild

During this project a photographer and an illustrator have explored if a single image can communicate a bigger whole, in this case a movie. By analysing five motion pictures with visual communication theories, semiotics and colour symbolism as tools, ten images was created. These images do not only consist of symbols, but also communicate the overall feeling and colour scheme of the movie.These images have been tested in Interviews with six individuals, who, except for one, work with visual communication of some kind. They have studied the communication skills of the images from their own experiences.The result of the Interviews showed that all images could not communicate a movie. One reason for this was that only a few of the test persons had seen two of the selected movies.

Att utveckla en turistdestination : Samarbetet mellan privat och offentlig sektor

This study is about exclusion and childrens role-play in Swedish preschools. 8 preschool teachers, in 4 different preschools, have been interviewed about exclusion and low and high rating roles in children's role-play. The Interviews was recorded and then analyzed. Relevant research in this study was from Corsaro, Tellgren and Löfdahl amongst others, and the results of the Interviews is what this study is based on. The study showed that one of the most common roles in childrens role-play is the role of mother and that the roles children play are based on social norms and values.

The purpose of this study was to to examine what teachers think about visual art and how the learning process in this subject does look like. To answer these issues, I made Interviews with five teachers of visual art from different schools, and I examined several examples of pupils? artworks. The stories of the teachers were analyzed in relation to governing documents and with assumptions from sociocultural theory, postmodernism and pedagogical - aesthetic research as theoretical point of view.By the qualitative interview method, the observations of the pupil?s artworks, and by the analysis of the Interviews with the teachers, I have come to the conclusion that teachers think differently about art but they try to keep themselves in line with the national governing documents.

IPad i sfi-klassrummet : Illiteratas tankar och upplevelser av iPad vid läs- och skrivinlärning.

The study aims to investigate what the iPad in SFI education means for the individual when it comes to becoming literate from having been illiterate. The focus of the study is on reading and writing in combination with individual motivation and opinions on iPad as a teaching tool.The study is based on Interviews of three illiterate participants of sfi. The Interviews give an idea of the individuals´ attitudes to the iPad and whether they think they learn to read and write with the iPad. The study also discusses what the participants think they cannot learn with the iPad.The study also includes two Interviews with teachers, which aims to broaden and nuance pictures of how the iPad works in the classroom. Even the teachers' perceptions of the iPad as a teaching tool are examined.

Bibliotekspersonalens makt i förhållande till sina användare. : En analys av bibliotekspersonalens makt och ansvar vid urvalet av kvalitativ film till stadsbibliotek

The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to examine whether there exists a hegemonic relationship between librarians and users of libraries with a focus on the librarians point of view. The future of movies in the library is also going to be examined. Qualitative Interviews were conducted and were examined for signs of hegemony and habitus according to the respective theories. The results of these Interviews showed that librarians were in favor of user suggestions to improve the libraries collection. We found that there exists a hegemonic relationship in the libraries, but that it was subliminal and unwanted.

Barns lärande i leken : Studie utifrån pedagogers perspektiv

The purpose of this study is to investigate what teachers in preschool thinks of play and how they use play to create learning. In my study I have proceeded from three questions which are: How do the teachers describe how the children learn through play? How do the teachers describe their participation in the children´s play? How do the teachers describe what they do to involve learning in play? To examine my purpose and the questions at issue, qualitative Interviews were done with three different teachers. The Interviews were transcribed and analyzed and the result showed that teachers´opinion and experiences of learning through play. The result shows that teachers belive that playing is very important and that it should be fun and joyful.

"Man är ju inte mer än en människa" : En kvalitativ studie av känslor och emotioner i en handledares arbete med ensamkommande flyktingbarn

The purpose of this paper is to find out the staff's feelings and emotions in a HVBaccommodation where they work with unaccompanied refugee children. A HVBaccommodation is an institution that refugee asylum seekers come to in the beginning of their refugee process. To shed some light on this issue, a hermeneutic perspective has been used in the methodological approach of the work. The material gathered through Interviews is collected from six supervisors at the selected accommodation in southern Sweden.The material based on the Interviews is grounded in the supervisors' experiences, emotionsand feelings. Our result has been used as a foundation for the analysis of feelings andemotions based on three theoretical approaches: The total Department of Goffman (1973),socialization and the significant other Mead (1934), and the relationships and emotions atwork Hochschild (1983).

Konstnärlig process och måluppfyllelse i Lunds Vokalensemble - "...en lite sån magisk upplevelse"

The aim of this study is to investigate how Lunds Vokalensemble achieves its goals and in which way the goals influence the choir's work. The study also explores the choir's artistic process. Qualitative Interviews and observations were used as a method. Four singers and the director participated to the Interviews. The results show that the choir's artistic goals have quite an influence on many aspects of the choir's work, both in a musical and a social way.

ABSTRACTMusic and differences in knowledge ? a study of music teachers experiences with differences in musical knowledge. The purpose of this paper is to, out of a music teacher?s perspective, see if the differences in music abilities between 7th grade students are at all, or in some ways connected to the previous schools they?ve attended. I will also research in what areas, in the subject of music, students are differing more, as well as less, in their knowledge. The analysis is based on Interviews with six 7th grade music teachers working in the Swedish nine-year compulsory school system.

The purpose of this thesis is to gain insight into children`s voluntary reading in their spare time. I have focused on printed books and none of the digitally published Medias. I want to examine how children experience the power adult`s exercise over their chose of books and also why they choose the books they do. The method of this study is qualitative with Interviews of six 10 years old children. I conducted the Interviews detachedly and I have used two different point of view for my study; Aidan Chamber`s ?Reading Circle? and Barbro Johanssons opinions if children`s participation in terms of their voluntarily book selection.I have also studied other researchers and author´s writings about literacy, children´s reading habits, adults´ attitudes to children´s reading and children´s passion for reading.During my study it became clear that children who like to read prefer to read detective stories for children, a result that also earlier investigations reached..

Profeten sade: konsultera ditt hjärta : hadither och sunnah som meningsskapande referens i en moskégrupp i Sverige

This essay examines the processes of interpretations of hadith within a group of muslim women in Stockholm, Sweden. The readings and interpretation of hadith took place in a smaller mosque. The practices of interpretation was studied by the authour through observations and further discussed with informants in Interviews. Meaningmaking processes which connected the hadith readings with the everyday life of the group participants; related to questions of moral and etics, relations between men and women and other specific issues, has been highlightened through the observations. The material from observations and Interviews has been examined hermeneutically through a narrative model of analysis, revealing structures of interpretation which includes local perspectives as well as connections to a global islamic discourse.
