AbstractThe aim for this study is to establish how teachers and supervisors at the Child and Recreation Programme interpret the concept ?vocational knowledge?. It is also about how they substantially can see that the pupils are developing vocational knowledge, during their work placement training. The aim of this thesis is to create a base for teachers to work with continuing development in teaching practice. The empirical part of this study is based on interviews. Interviews were analyzed in three categories: definition of vocational knowledge, substantially developing in vocational knowledge and success factors. The result shows that knowing how and knowing why is salient in vocational knowledge.

The aim of this thesis is to see if adult education have changed in educational association of the Swedish Labour Movement ABF, and the temperance movement IOGT/NBV. We have chosen to study five periods and analyse these after four ideal of education. These are the ideals of self-education, polytechnic education, neo-classic character-moulding education, and citizenship education. We have studied the reports of the activities of the organisations during the years and the writings of anniversary. The analysis shows that the two popular movements have gone from an adult education where the ideal of citizenship education to an ideal of neo-classic character-moulding education was dominating.

This thesis is based on a conversation about gender identity and the pronoun hen in an episode of the radio programme Tendens on Swedish public radio, P1. The participants of the conversation are a scholar and a journalist/show-host. The goal of the research has been to analyse how the conversation is constructed from its context and which topics that occur. The goal of the research has also been to analyse how the participants of the conversation position themselves and how the conversation composes and re-composes norms and values regarding gender identity in society. Critical discourse analysis, completed by Conversation analysis has been the theoretical and methodological approach.

This master's thesis deals with the interest in comics among students at the social science programme in an upper secondary school. The history of comics and the reading habits of comics have also been examined. For the completion of this study 54 students, 19 boys and 35 girls, took part in a questionnaire. The results of this statistical survey shows that the department of comics at Malmö city public library plays an insignificant role concerning the interest and reading of comics for the students. The main readings of comics for the students are in the daily paper, which resembles reading habits of adults.

Syftet med denna litteraturöversikt var att sammanställa kunskap om hur tonåringar påverkas av att leva med acne. Syftet besvarades utifrån frågeställningen; Hur påverkas tonåringar av att leva med acne? Studien baserades på analys av nio vetenskapliga artiklar. Resultatet visade att tonåringar med acne blir retade, värderade och dömda samt att deras sociala relationer försämras och att de förlorar självkänsla och livskvalitet. Att leva med acne har en stor betydelse för det psykiska välbefinnandet samt livskvalitet.

Uppsatsen behandlar hypotesen om att mänskliga rättigheter blivit en normre-gim som kan utgöra en legitim grund för militärt våld. Genom att se på traditio-nella sätt (realistiska, folkrättsliga och teoritraditionen om rättfärdiga krig) att skapa legitimitet knyter vi an till den aktuella världssituationen där mänskliga rät-tigheter spelar en allt större roll. Uppsatsen diskuterar även vad mänskliga rättig-heter som legitimitetsargument innebär, såsom en möjligtvis konditionerad suve-ränitet, och ett omvärderande av FN:s roll i världen, och de problem som uppstår i förhållande till dessa. Vidare frågar vi oss huruvida mänskliga rättigheter kan ut-göra svepskäl för att rättfärdiga annars illegitima krig. In my thesis I examine the editorial theory and practice of the Nietzsche-Archives. At the center of the academic debate we find the posthumous edition Der Wille zur Macht, firstly published 1901 as Friedrich Nietzsches magnum opus. 1906 a new edition was published, which has been described by Nietzsche-scholars as canonical. The editors Elisabeth Förster-Nietzsche and Heinrich Köselitz manipulated the literary remains of Friedrich Nietzsche. The Nietzsche-scholars interpret these textual corrections and interventions differently.

Syftet med min uppsats är att undersöka hur arbetet med International Child Development Programme (ICDP), Vägledande samspel, fungerar i skolan. Jag vill se hur pedagogerna som utgår från ICDP arbetar i den vardagliga verksamheten och även ta reda på pedagogernas inställning till att arbeta med ICDP. Jag vill undersöka detta eftersom ett gott förhållningssätt är ytterst viktigt för ett bra samspel. Vidare vill jag undersöka om det finns några svårigheter när man arbetar med ICDP och vad det i sådana fall kan vara. För att ta reda på detta ska jag genomföra intervjuer med pedagogerna samt observera dem under lektionstid i klassrummet.

This is a final project which makes up 20 credits at the Landscapearchitecture programme at SLU in Alnarp. The thesis is design based. My final project is comprised two parts; of a competition entry for ? A New Square in the Centre of Täby? as well as a theoretical study that derives from the competition proposal. The competiton itself was announced on March 1st 2007 with the final hand-in date on May 28th 2007. The program of the competition asked for a flexible urban square that offers a diverse range of activities that can be used during both night and day, all year around. I became interested in the term ?mutlifunctionality? and I went on to use the subject as a base for my design approach.

Syftet med följande arbete är att undersöka om och hur Learning study som är en metod att granska, analysera och utveckla pedagogiken, kan förbättra undervisningen i teater på gymnasiets teaterestetiska inriktning. Jag vill säkerställa att kommunikationen i undervisningen fungerar och förbättrar deras kunskaper gällande begreppet närvaro inom teaterämnet. Enligt den ryske teaterpedagogen Stanislavskij så innebär närvaro en överensstämmelse mellan skådespelarens övertygelse i karaktären och det uttryck skådespelare och regissör vill förmedla. (Järleby, 2001, s. 174-175.) I detta arbete har jag även reflekterat och redogjort för tidigare forskning genom två studier inom Learning Study och en studie i teater.

This is a bachelor?s essay in the landscape architect programme in Alnarp. The purpose of the essay is to describe discussions about security in planning contexts in Sweden. Written material from three levels of the discussions has been studied: Swedish research, governmental directives and practisers. I have tried to obtain a variation in types of material.

The objective of this literature study was to describe the nurse?s preventive actions to prevent diabetes type 2 among children and adolescents in school age. It emerged from the analysis that the nurse is working according to three pillars; screening, lifestyle changes and counselling/education. This result showed that what often increase difficulties when working with screening are: undefined guidelines, lack of time and resources. Overweight/obesity is one of many indicators to develop diabetes type 2, therefore it is important that both BMI and waist are measured.
