In this paper we explore the relations between context and feedback generated in three user-centered evaluations of a flash-based game. Whether it?s the social context, the physical context or the degree of intrusion from the evaluator, they all contribute to the quality of the feedback received. The selection of test subjects is a narrow process, which gives the above mentioned factors different meaning. Contextual factors have shown to influence the feedback given within both usability and user-experience.

This study was carried out at Luftfartsverket (LFV Group, Swedish Airports and Air Navigation Services). The aim was to study what characterizes an employer of choice and further to examine how well the employees at Luftfartsverket feel that their employer lives up to this image. A quantitative method was applied in the form of a selfdeveloped questionnaire. It was answered by a random sample of employees at Luftfartsverket.The results showed that salary, good leadership, good relations to colleagues and a sense of participation were important factors to be an employer of choice. In the organization at hand good colleagues were the most fulfilled factor whereas good leadership were the least fulfilled factor.

This thesis examines the ways in which adaptation and vulnerability are framed in national and sectorial policy-documents dealing with expected societal impacts of climate change. By using theories of discourse and ideology, the analysis aims to find and understand important ideas and presuppositions that are explicitly or implicitly expressed in these documents in order to make possible and tangible the institutional production of policy within the potentially far-reaching problematique of climate change adaptation and vulnerability. The analysis shows that there are two main perspectives through which vulnerability and adaptation are framed; one focusing limits to societal robustness; and one contesting the institutional capacity to implement adaptations. The author understands these framings as complementarily optimizing preconceived social and economic relations, something that might, in fact, reduce the response capacity of people..

I denna processbeskrivning undersöker jag hur jag kan verka som en modedesigner som kan påverka och göra skillnad. Intresset för detta väcktes under ett tidigare projekt då jag i arbetet local relations funderade över hur de val man gör under en designprocess kan påverka samhället i stort. Min undersökning börjar med att jag tittar på andra kreativa personers praktiker för att se hur dem påverkar och gör skillnad, jag genomför också intervjuer med andra verksamma för att undersöka hur dem ser på designerrollen nu och i framtiden, för att sedan undersöka hur jag kan omvandla mina tankar till ett praktiskt arbete. Under resans gång kommer jag fram till att jag kan påverka genom att etablera en plattform utifrån vilken jag och andra kan uttrycka våra tankar om mode. This paper investigates the relations between the fantasy genre and the phenomena of escapism. It also delves into the factors which motivates consumption of various fantasy mediums. This is done through interviews with six different fantasy-consumers, along with two observations; of which one is performed at a science fiction convention and the other at a table-top role playing game. The study resulted in a basic understanding of escapism ? it is not limited to the fantasy genre, and fantasy consumers do not deny that fantasy is a form of escapism.

The goal of this qualitative essay is to approach the knowledge of people who commit crimes. From a development psychology point of view, questions relating to childhood ang growth are some of the important subjects we choose to discuss. Our purpose is also to reveal the linkage between criminal behavior and different theories of the above mentioned perspective. To bridge the gap between the general and the individual, our survey was based on profound interviews with four inmates in prison. This offer an opportunity to capture the individual´s inner thoughts, feelings and experience about the criminal action.

The civil war in Sierra Leone was a very complicated conflict, both in its origin as well as in its realization. Many actors, along with the diamond trade, played vital parts in making the war carry on for a decade. In this paper I will try to clarify the relations between the actors and the diamonds, first and foremost the part the diamonds played in the conflicts start and continuation. I will also show what has happened in the country and in the diamond industry after the wars conclusion. What I find is that diamonds did not play the only part in the origin of the conflict but that the poor economic state the country was in had its part.

Our goal is to examine the content of two political documents with the desire to point out their visions about how the Swedish school system should be shaped, in relations to knowledge. Conciseness about the value of trust and social capital motivates the need for work, with threats to communication, being conflicts and noise. This can create greater trust in the workplace as a whole, as well in the working team. Scientists are increasingly interested in these social relations in the working environment; there are profits, both for production and in terms of individuals2019 well being, in shifting the focus away from a purely production-oriented, economic perspective.

Självkänsla, och särskilt strävan att öka självkänslan genom yttre bekräftelse, har visat sig vara en betydelsefull komponent för hälsa och välbefinnande. Kompetens- och relationsbaserad självkänsla är två typer av betingad självkänsla och den föreliggande studien fokuserade på betydelsen av dessa för upplevd stress samt självskattad psykisk och fysisk hälsa. En surveyundersökning genomfördes där 111 deltagare i åldrarna 19-64 år deltog. Resultatet visade att betingad självkänsla, särskilt den relationsbaserade, hade ett starkare samband med psykisk hälsa än fysisk. Det fanns även skillnader i psykisk hälsa beroende på kön, ålder och nivån av betingad självkänsla.
