Förskollärares metoder i konflikthantering

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka om, och i så fall hur, förskollärare använder sig av olika metoder vid konflikthantering i arbetet på förskolan. Bakgrunden är uppbyggd av forskning och litteratur, där medling och öppna relationer är de viktigaste metoderna vid konfliktlösning. För att få en bild av hur konflikter hanteras i verkligheten har intervjuer med förskollärare genomförts. Genom dessa framkom att studiens respondenter använder sig av olika metoder beroende på situation. Den metod som samtliga använder sig av är medling och öppna frågor.

Vetenskapligt skrivande i gymnasieskolan : Hur gymnasieelever närmar sig vetenskapliga textgenrer

The aim of this study was to examine ways in which High School Students approach academic writing. Both discursive and critical-analytical levels in 21 PM-texts and 14 investigating literary essays were analyzed through a genre theoretical and sociocultural framework in order to widen the understanding of students? usage of explicit textual and interpersonal markers as well as their techniques of writing abstracts. The results showed that nearly 25 percent of the putative abstracts consisted of sampled and reshaped text sequences. The majority of these were on the other hand results of a creative process in which the students reshaped utterances from different sources.

Toddlare och demokratiarbete : om inflytande och delaktighet hos förskolans yngsta

The purpose of this study was to find out how young children are allowed to influence and affect their daily lives in preschools, as well as teachers? views on the latter. My interest in this topic is born out of my experience of working with both younger and older preschool children. My view is that democratic work with older children is largely based on direct verbal communication while with toddlers it is based on an adult?s interpretation of a child?s often non-verbal expressions.

Effekt av beröring på kundupplevelsen

De stora förändringarna inom det sociokulturella och teknologiska området har bidragit till utvecklingen av en ny dimension av marknadsföring, vilken har inriktat sig på att se och behandla kunderna som levande individer. Kundernas sinne, känslor och humör ställs i centrum. Att involvera människas sinne i tjänsteprocessen kan vara avgörande för kundens direkta upplevelse av olika köp- och konsumtionsprocesser.Denna studie syftar till att undersöka hur humör och känslotillstånd, servicekvalitet, kundlojalitet och servicepersonal samspelar med interpersonell beröring vid ett servicemöte.Ett experiment utfördes i en detaljhandelsbutik för att mäta beröringens effekter. Hypoteser formulerades med utgångpunkt i att interpersonell beröring, i form av en lätt touch mellan armbåge och axel, bör leda till en positiv inverkan på kundernas känslotillstånd samt bidra till bättre kundupplevelse. Resultatet visade att interpersonell beröring har positiv inverkan på kundernas känslotillstånd samt ökar graden av den upplevda servicekvaliteten och stärker kundlojaliteten..

Åtta professionellas beskrivningar av emotionella processer vid terapeutiska samtal : En analys med EI-teorier

This study was built on the concept of Emotional Intelligence (EI) as an ability with four branches, to effectively: (1) perceive (2) reason (3) understand and (4) manage emotions. By closely studying the four processes of EI through eight semistructured interviews with psychologists, counselors, CBT-therapists and psychotherapists, a study of participants' stories from real practice was done and then analyzed and interpreted. The purpose of this study was to get the participants to describe and put words on practical experiences that occur with clients that correspond to the four domains that define the concept of EI according to Mayer et al. (2008) and find out about if their way of "doing" EI gets trained and developed after several years of professional activity. The results shows that the practitioners used all four branches of EI in dialog with the client, both intra- and interpersonal.

Det litterära spädbarnet ? en undersökning av folkbibliotekens program för de allra yngsta barnen

The objective for this Master?s thesis is to study literary programs for infants at six Swedish public libraries, their relevance and importance for infants and how the infant?s perspective in the program design and implementation is taken into consideration. The questions I pose are: In which way do the programs take the infants need for development and their literary prerequisites into consideration? Which functions can the programs have for infants? I have used a qualitative method, based on deep interviews with six library staff, working with literary programs. A model was developed based upon Daniel Stern?s theories of the interpersonal world of the infant together with Joseph Appleyard?s reading development theory.

Hur paraplyorganisationer fungerar - en fallstudie på ESTOC

Umbrella organizations, organizations that have other organizations as members, are in previous research described as arenas of conflicts with problematic decision-making and contradictory parallel action towards political decision-makers. However, the research within this subject is limited, and therefore the aim of this paper is to add knowledge to how such organizations in fact work. After conducting a case study at the trade association ESTOC this thesis challenge previous statements about umbrella organizations and conclude that there, under certain circumstances, may exist harmony within an umbrella organizations. The main implication, thus, is that we have to readdress umbrella organizations in quite another way to be able to make a more realistic interpretation of collaborations in umbrella organizations..

Att vårda den inre hälsan. : Kan stödjande samtal vara ett nytt friskvårdsalternativ?

Arbetsmarknaden står inför ett generations- och paradigmskifte, när den äldre generationen går i pension och de yngre förväntas ta över. Samtidigt ökar den psykiska ohälsan och sjukskrivningen främst bland de yngre och stress rapporteras vara den stora bakomliggande orsaken; känslan av otillräcklighet och svårighet att få balans i livspusslet. Undersökningar poängterar att förebyggande arbete och tidiga insatser gynnar såväl medarbetares hälsa och arbetsplatsens ekonomi. Studiens syfte är att undersöka om samtalsstöd som ett nytt subventionerat friskvårdsalternativ uppfattas positivt, i synnerhet av Generation Y (födda 1982-1999). Resultatet av enkätundersökningen, genomförd på ett kommunkontor med 76 deltagare visade att 60% skulle boka samtal idag om det erbjöds som ett friskvårdsalternativ.

Att motivera och/eller manipulera : En begreppsutredande litteraturstudie

This study aims to theoretically investigate the concepts of the interpersonal actions 'to motivate' and 'to manipulate' and also to examine possible differences and similarities between the two. The method used is a conceptual review based on the Self-Determination Theory, related to the concept of motivation, and Machiavellianism, related to the concept of manipu-lation. The results show that 'to motivate', according to Self-Determination Theory, concerns influencing the intrinsic or extrinsic motivation, where intrinsic motivation is related to the feeling of self-determination, inner locus of causality, being or feeling competent and exercise activities for the pleasure of it, whilst extrinsic motivation is related to external locus of cau-sality, external pressure and engaging in activities for the purpose of reaching a goal or re-ward. 'To manipulate' is according to Machiavellianism based on the manipulator doing whatever it takes to reach a certain goal and gain something for himself with no regard of what methods being used. The comparative analysis showed that the crucial difference in how an behaviour is interpreted as either, or both, motivating and manipulative is based on who is doing the interpretation, what information she has and which aspects that are focused on..

Att mäta våld i nära relationer : validering av ett instrument med hjälp av fokusgrupper

Våld i nära relationer existerar i de flesta samhällen och förekommer bland såväl heterosexuella som samkönade par. Mycket forskning har främst ägnats åt mäns våld mot kvinnor där offret ofta orsakas stort lidande. Men våld som konfliktlösningsmetod är inte förbehållet män utan används även av kvinnor. En kartläggning av mäns och kvinnors våld i nära relationer i en svensk allmänpopulation planeras och ett frågeformulär har sammansatts och översatts från engelska. Denna uppsats ingår i valideringsstudien av formuläret.

Muslimska ungdomars relation till religion och modernitet i Sverige och Danmark : En genomgång av två aktuella studier

This thesis explores how Muslim youths? lifeworlds are depicted and narrated in the following two studies on Muslim youth in Sweden and Denmark: Muslima (2007) and Samtidsislam (2010). The aim of this thesis is to answer the following question: In what ways do these works treat the aspects of the lifeworlds that are being highlighted in their studies of Muslim youth in contemporary Sweden and Denmark? An underlying aim is to analyse the results within the framework of theories of socialisation, cultural emancipation and rituals and traditions.With a hermeneutic approach I analyse the texts and operationalize the research question into four themes: the effects of socialization, cultural emancipation, rituals and traditions and secularization. The texts are treated in the analysis with textual analysis and hermeneutic method.

As self-service technologies become more common in service provisions, a deeper understanding is needed of how customer satisfaction is affected by automated service encounters. Drawing from theories of customer satisfaction, human interaction, and the dynamics of complex service provisions, the differences between automated and interpersonal service encounters in the initial part of a service provision are examined in terms of customers? evaluation of the service encounter itself, overall satisfaction, as well as the service encounter?s impact on global evaluations and evaluations of other non-dependant service encounters. The study was performed on people travelling by air on Swedish domestic routes. Passengers were asked to evaluate the airline?s performance on different attributes of the air travel they had undertaken, as well as to form an overall evaluation of the service.

Lärares yrkesetiska normer och handlingsberedskap

Syftet med denna kvalitativa studie är att undersöka vilka etiska normer som finns i lärares resonemang om vardagens problemlösning och konflikthantering. Vidare syftar studien till att undersöka hur lärare resonerar om sin handlingsberedskap och sitt beslutsfattande samt vilka etiska normer de grundar sina beslut på. Vår datainsamling har skett genom ljudupptagning av halvstrukturerade intervjuer med fem lärare. Lärarna har dagen innan intervjutillfället fått ett fall med olika etiska dilemman som de ombetts att läsa och reflektera kring. Intervjuerna har utgått ifrån fallet, men lärarna har uppmuntrats att relatera till egna erfarenheter av etiskt svåra situationer i läraryrket.

This corresponds to about 220 million MWh / day.Energy consumption is one of the main reasons for increased greenhouse gases when the reduction of this consumption has a great demand worldwide.In order to prevent the energy that consumed the buildings must be energy efficient but there is a conflict between radon ventilation and energy conservation in a building, given that ventilation can consume as much energy (currently 29-59% of energy-efficient houses use), especially in a cold climate as in Norway.
