Det globala nätverket Internet växer för var dag som går och det gör även dess möjligheter. Idag omsätter den elektroniska handeln över Internet miljardbelopp och förväntas öka ytterligare de kommande åren. Allt fler företag startar upp handel över Internet i nätbutiker och intresset bland konsumenterna ökar.När elektroniska avtal sluts försvinner den fysiska kontakten och den personliga kontakten minskas. Som en följd av detta ökar behovet av en säker identifiering av Internetanvändarna. Detta är vad mitt arbete handlar om.Arbetet belyser vilka problem och möjligheter som finns för en svensk nätbutik att identifiera kunder som besöker nätbutiken.

Användningen av Internet och antalet nya tjänster ökar mer och mer. Internet är ett öppet system och för att Internet i högre utsträckning skall kunna användas även vid hantering av känslig information krävs bättre säkerhet. Syftet med denna rapport är att utifrån Karlskrona kommuns säkerhetspolicy samt medborgarnas åsikter om säkerhet, undersöka vilken eller vilka säkerhetslösningar som lämpar sig bäst vid den planerade 24-timmarsmyndigheten. I denna rapport undersöks vilken eller vilka av de alternativa medborgarcertifikat som myndigheter får använda sig av. Målet är att komma fram till en möjlig lösning för elektronisk identifiering inom den framtida, 24-timmarsmyndigheten inom Karlskrona kommun.

Entreprenörer är viktiga för Sveriges ekonomiska tillväxt och företagens konkurrenskraft blir alltmer beroende av entreprenörens förmåga att tillgodogöra sig och använda sig av ny kunskap. Målet med denna studie var att undersöka hur entreprenörers erfarenhetsutbyte kan stödjas av IT. För att veta hur IT kan stödja erfarenhetsutbytet har entreprenörernas behov av erfarenhetsutbyte identifierats. Studien har visat att entreprenörernas erfarenhetsutbyte kan stödjas av en mängd olika IT-lösningar. Exempelvis skulle behovet av möten för att diskutera kunna tillgodoses av nätbaserade diskussionsforum, chatt och blogg.

The Internet has become an important communicational medium that involves the majority of the world?s population. One group in particular that uses the Internet is the youth. This in turn makes the Internet a viable source for groomers to exploit, where groomers are what you call grown men and women that have the intention to contact youths for sexual purposes, the process is called grooming. In Sweden, a law has been made available to criminalize this particular activity, but it should not replace the prevention.

The aim of this thesis has been to examine how the risk for the swine flu was represented in the Swedish Radio news broadcast Ekot 16.45 during different phases of the pandemic in 2009. We wanted to study how the risk was described in different discourses and periods? Were the participants in the reporting calming or warning the listeners in relations to different aspects of the swine flu? What consequences for the community were reported in the broadcasting?To find the answers to our questions, we analysed 13 features about the swine flu broadcasted in Ekot?s main news broadcast Ekot 16.45. We used critical discourse analysis inspired by Norman Fairclough.We identified four types of discourses in our text, a journalistic discourse, a medical discourse, a nationalistic discourse and an authority discourse. The main discourse was the medical one.

Begagnade bilar köps och säljs i allt högre utsträckning mellan privatpersoner, något som drabbar bilhandlare genom en för dem minskad försäljning. Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka hur privatpersoner väljer var de ska köpa begagnad bil. Vi vill utforska hur de söker efter information om bilar, samt vilka faktorer som påverkar valet av inköpsställe. En kvantitativ enkätundersökning har utförts bland privatpersoner som köpt begagnad bil och resultaten av denna undersökning visar att priset på bilen är den mest avgörande faktorn vid val av inköpsställe. I slutsatsen kan även konstateras att Internet är det ledande informationssökningsredskapet innan köp av bil..

To end up as an immigrant in an unknown country and to try to participate in the majority society means both psychological and physical difficulties where their whole life is changing. Gemensamma Krafter is a prevention changing work in a housing area in Borlänge. It works among other things as a meeting place for people from different cultures. The aim with this study was to describe and to get increased understanding for the lives of a number of immigrant women who lives in Borlänge/Sweden and which importance ?Gemensamma Krafter? has had for them.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka varför få svenska kommunerna valt att installera DNSSEC på sina domäner. DNS är en av de viktigaste protokollen på Internet och behövs för att sammanlänka IP-adresser med mer lättförståeliga adresser för oss människor. DNS skapades utan att tänka på säkerheten, för att kunna göra DNS säkrare utvecklades ett säkerhetstillägg till DNS detta fick namnet DNSSEC.Vi har använt oss av litteraturstudie, experiment och intervjuer för att skapa en djupare kunskap och förståelse om hur DNS och DNSSEC fungerar samt besvara varför få kommuner har valt att installera DNSSEC.Under vår litteraturstudie läste vi om flera sårbarheter i DNS och hur dessa kan utnyttjas för att utsätta en organisation för attacker såsom cacheförgiftning och MITM. Vi testade dessa sårbarheter och bekräftade det. Efter installationen av DNSSEC kunde inte angreppen längre genomföras i vår testmiljö.Under intervjuerna kom vi fram till att den vanligaste orsaken att kommuner inte väljer att installera DNSSEC är okunskap om tillvägagångsättet för en installation och att de tycker deras nuvarande DNS fungerar bra, det blir då ingen prioriterad fråga.

The most dominating type of company in Sweden is the small-sized business and it usually lacks its own marketing department. The purpose of this paper was to analyze several small Swedish businesses which are specialized in different sectors of the Mechanic/Technology industry but they are similar in terms of having niched products and they are leading companies in the world. The objective was to do research about how small businesses work with marketing despite its lack of resources and capital.This survey has shown that customer contacts, customer relationships and especially for those investigated companies, it was very important to focus on globalization and product development in order to build a Point of Difference..

   Did the mass media report in a different way about the real estate tax before the Swedish national election 2006 than they did after the election? If there were differences, what could be the cause?This study aims to answer these questions by using a quantitative analysis of articles about the real estate tax published in the Dagens Nyheter (DN), the biggest morning daily. The summer before the election, the ?Alliance?, (the non-socialist coalition, launched an election promise to abolish the real estate tax. Instead they planned to introduce a low community charge.The Alliance won the election and formed a government to implement their election promise. The analysis was made on all the published articles in DN that covered the real estate tax issue. In total there were 43 such articles. These where all published between the launch of the campaign promise until the electionday and a month before the proposal was launched 19/9 2007, until the proposal was implemented in 2008. The study results in three interesting conclusions.

Background and aims: The population of older people in our society is increasing. Agerelated changes in the skin results in a diminished perception of pain and pressure and a decreased microcirculation in the skin affects its ability to adapt to injury. Occurrence of pressure sore on geriatrikal clinics are 5-10%, witch means that between five and ten thousand patients gets daily treat for pressure sores. When the patient gets a pressure sore the need for help increases. A common apprehension is that if the patient?s affects with pressure sores it?s because of deficiency in care.

Internet påverkar vår vardag i allra högsta grad. Våra rutiner har förändrats och därmed ställs det även krav på företagen att möta sina kunder där kunderna finns. En bransch som tagit stor hänsyn till detta är bankvärlden. Men hur möter de kunderna på den digitala arenan? Hur hanterar de sitt varumärke ur ett digitalt perspektiv?  Denna studie har som syfte att undersöka just detta och se på fyra av de svenska rikstäckande bankernas digitala varumärkeshantering och hur de arbetar med kommunikation i digitala kanaler.

The aim of this study was to create an understanding of how a group of community policing officers engagement are shaped. Previous research argues that there is a police culture which conveys cynicism to the individual police. The research also says that the police adopt a pessimistic view of society, they are isolated and at odds with the rest of society. Furthermore, research has also shown how a narrative can exist that explains the police way of doing things. My contribution to the field is to explore how a narrative can be located, which precedes and shapes the police engagement.

This joint study has researched the use of non-European history in a Swedish textbook for the High School course History 1a1 as well as internet based material regarding the same issue. The aim of this study was to clarify the use of non-European history in regards to the Eurocentric theory.As for the textbook analysis the purpose was to research what non-European history was mentioned in the material with regards to geographical location and the events that were mentioned, as well as to study how much non-European history was included in the material compared to European or Western history.The study of internet based material aimed to show what kind of teaching material could be found on internet based databases by and for teachers. The study aimed to show how well the material handled non-European history, as well as to what degree the material used European perspectives when dealing with non-European events and geographical areas.In our thesis we have created our own definition of the theory regarding eurocentrism. The method used was a combination of a quantitative and a qualitative discourse analysis of the texts.Our results showed that the textbook was overwhelmingly Eurocentric, not only giving vastly more focus to the European parts of world history, but also using European perspectives and ideals to describe non-European events and areas. The internet based material, on the other hand, proved more diverse and less biased, but also more difficult to find and less plentiful.Our conclusion, then, is that teachers have to choose between the risk of letting their students develop a severely limited and heavily Eurocentric view of the world, and the additional workload required to find and organize non-textbook material to broaden their students horizons.We hope our study will contribute to the discussion of the place of Eurocentrism in today?s global and multicultural society..

Det här arbetet handlar om att göra en undersöka om de vanligaste webbläsarna Firefox och Internet Explorer om de har problem att skriva ut vanlig HTML-kod. Arbetet var utformat att hämta de vanligaste HTML-elementen och CSS-elementen från sex webbsidor. Det gjorde även en enklare fördjupning om varför webbsidorna avviker från standarden från första början. De elementen som togs fram tidigare användes sedan i undersökningar som fem olika personer har deltagit i. Testerna gick ut på att personerna kollade på testsidorna i Firefox och Internet Explorer för att se om något skiljde sig åt mellan webbläsarna.
