Banners är annonser som finns på de flesta webbsidor. Användare är oftast ute på Internet med syftet att leta efter specifik information. Vid informationsökning används troligen ett speciellt kognitivt schema som gör att användaren undviker att fokusera på banners eftersom informationen som eftersöks inte antas finnas i banners. Om en navigering på Internet görs för lik en banner ser inte användaren den heller. Man kan säga att banner blindness är en tendens hos användaren av webben att ignorera banners, även när de innehåller information som användaren aktivt söker.

Syfte: Uppsatsens syfte är att beskriva och förklara hur publiceringen av nyheter på Internet, i form av en Internettidning, har påverkat en lokal morgontidnings organisation och verksam-het. Målet är redogöra för de faktorer som bidrar till den attityd som den studerade dagstid-ningens reportrar har gentemot Internettidningen.Metod: Studien är en kvalitativ fallstudie där intervjuer med reportrar, chefer och Internetan-svariga har använts för insamling av empiriskt material.Huvudresultat: Denna studie har visat att den studerande lokaltidningens reportrar har haft svårt att inkorporera nyhetspublicering till Internettidningen i sin dagliga arbetsrutin. Report-rarna har anammat en negativ attityd till den nya verksamheten och vill inte arbeta med den trots att de finner Internettidningen vara viktig och ha många möjligheter för företaget och dem själva. Resultatet visar att ledningens osäkerhet och bristande ledning gällande Internet-tidningens status samt utveckling har skapat oro i organisationen och bidragit till reportrarnas inställning till Internettidningen, de ser den vara endast ytterliggare en arbetsuppgift. Studiens resultat pekar på vikten av att tidningsledningen kommunicerar sina mål till organisationen och utvecklar tydliga strategier för en ny verksamhet, för att den nya produkten ska accepteras av medarbetarna och för dess eventuella framgång inom och utanför organisationen..

The key purpose of this research has been trying to understand, and study how assyrian/syriac youth create their identity under the influence of two or several different cultures. We have also looked upon how different factors such as history, religion, language, family and school play a role in the youths identity development.We have used a qualitative method in our study where we have interviewed six assyrian/syriac youth. Because of their Christian faith the assyrian/syriac group has been forced to migrate from their countries to different parts around the world. In the new countries the group has been forced to create and live in a diasporaculture. The city Södertälje in Sweden has developed to become a metropole for this ethnic group where they have founded a substantial diasporaculture.

Denna rapport är en fallstudie som återspeglar framtagandet av en webbplats åt det norska Diabetesforbundet. Webbplatsen är ett community där personer skapar användarkonton och interagerar med varandra med hjälp av ett antal funktioner som finns att tillgå. Då själva utvecklingen av webbplatsen har varit huvudmålet med examensarbetet fokuserar denna rapport på att förklara den praktiska implementeringen. De tekniker och metoder som använts i det praktiska arbetet såsom kontextuellt utforskande och användbarhet definieras och förklaras för att sedan användas vid argumentation kring designval för webbplatsen. Den utvecklingsmetod som använts i det praktiska arbetet har varit en Agile Software Development-metod som kallas Extreme Programming.

The role of small businesses is fundamentally important for the economic development in countries. Within this context, business incubation is used as an entrepreneurship development instrument to promote and support new firms in the early stage of their existence. However, research in the field tends to disregard the perspectives of incubatee entrepreneurs. The performed investigation is based on interviews with entrepreneurs from two different business incubators at Swedish universities. This study uses a Situated Learning Theory (SLT) as a theoretical framework, to examine the entrepreneur's experience of the learning environment in a business incubator.

Ordet innebär i grund och botten en attitydförändring som har med hur Internetanvändare använder Internet och dess applikationer att göra. In this essay the morphing of the interstate relations in the post-World War II Western Europe is taken in to consideration in discussing how these relations were stabilized and consolidated through community cooperation to achieve a state of stable peace. It concludes that the early 1900's of Western Europe comes close to being conditioned by Herz's security dilemma and then continues to analyze the development from this state to one of stable peace. In this analysis pivotal features of the ECSC, EEC and the EC are being scrutinized through the use of Boulding's Stable Peace theory and developments of the very same, in separate case studies, in order to account for the Communities? influence on the peace process.In doing this, conclusions are drawn that external pressures can be very effective in creating an incentive to move beyond an initial state of conflicting self-images and that a stabilizing process has got to provide a long term solution in order to sustain a trustful relationship. In order to provide this long term solution the community cooperations suggests that locking in through institutionalization, harmonization, and the creation of a state of irrevocable interdependence are highly effective..

The aim of this essey was to find out what kind of help problem gamblers can get at social service offices in the region Västra Götaland in Sweden. We also examined the knowledge regarding gambling problems at social sevice offices and who the head of the social service offices regarded having the responsibility for the question of helping problem gamblers. As a last question we wanted to know if the size of the population in the community had an impact on these questions. Central questions in our essey asked are:How much help does the social service offices in the region Väsra Götaland offer problem gamblers? Who has the responsabilety to help problem gamblers according to social service offices?What knowledge does the social service offices have concerning problem gambling?Does the population of the community have an impact on theese questions?This is a quantitative study made as a webbservey to the head of the social service offices in the region Västra Götaland.
