Internet dating is a relatively new phenomenon that, in using the opportunities of the internet, has taken traditional dating to a new level. The business idea is simple as such. The company provides its customers with a platform that enables interaction, leaving the value creation to the customers. A qualitative study is conducted investigating and mapping the Swedish market for Internet dating. It is researched what the characteristics of the companies are, what the Internet dating businesses in Sweden offer, what the prevailing market conditions are, and lastly what challenges lie ahead for the industry and how they can be solved.

This thesis includes an energy survey of the Herrgården pre-school, which has a modern heating- and ventilation system, and a comparison with Östers pre-school which has an older system. An energy survey of Östers pre-school has already been done by a group of three students and all the calculations and values have been collected from that survey. As of today, both pre-schools are heated thru district heating. It will be much easier to make smart and feasible energy-saving-measures by first conducting the energy survey.Herrgården pre-school in Gävle houses 81 children, therteen teachers, one cleaner and one cook. It was finished in the middle of 2009 and the staff has been very pleased with the in-door climate.

AbstractIn this survey the authors studied how having a child with Aspergers syndrome affects theparents. The purpose of this survey was getting a glimpse of the parent?s experiences ofsupport from governmental instances as well as from their own network. This survey has beenexecuted from a qualitative point of view. The authors have completed interviews with sixparents of children with Aspergers syndrome.

Warnit AB har under ett tidigare examensarbete vid LTU utvecklat ett intelligent larmsystem som känner av vibrationer och automatiskt sänder ett trådlöst larm till användaren via SMS eller e-post. För att utveckla ytterligare produkten har Warnits VD, Peter Stenlund kommit med ett förslag om effektmätning på trefassystem. AbstractPurpose/Aim: In my essay I study the use of Internet with information overload as my perspective. I compare two age groups in order to find out whether there is a difference between generations in how they use the Internet and experience the vast amount of information that is found on the net.Material/Method: I gather information from six frequent World Wide Web users to find out whether they are experiencing information overload when using the Internet in their spare time and how they structure and make sense of the vast amount of information that is found on the net. I use semi-structured interviews to gather qualitative, not quantitative, material for my study. I have also used literature and websites on information overload, the Internet, and connected themes in order to get a broader picture of the subject and help me analyse the material.Main results: The main results of my study are that frequent Internet users do not feel that they suffer from the vast amount of information found on the World Wide Web. They rather enjoy it and if they have heard the term information overload they assume that it does not apply to their use of the Internet.

This thesis investigates all aspects of quality and evaluation issues concerning collections of Internet links in public libraries today and in the future. We have studied central theories concerning quality in general as well as quality aspects regarding the Internet and Internet links. In addition to this we have made three case-studies involving the development of collections of Internet links in public libraries of different sizes. The case-studies were made as interviews with professionals responsible for selection, quality assurance and evaluation of electronic information for inclusion in the libraries collections of Internet links. In addition to this we made an e-mail interview with a librarian responsible for one of the most advanced collections of Internet links among Swedish´ public libraries.

Syftet med denna studie är att via tre kvalitativa intervjuer undersöka gränsdragningen mellan privat och offentlig sfär på Internet ur ett socialpsykologiskt perspektiv. Huvudfrågorna lyder; ?Finns det en gräns mellan privat och offentligt på Internet och var går i sådana fall den??; ?Vad är det människor vill skydda från insyn och varför?? samt ?Hur stor är medvetenheten kring privat sekretess på Internet?? Studien innefattar bland annat en historisk överblick om hur privat och offentlig sfär utvecklats genom åren och hur dagens arenor till stor del överlappar varandra. Fokus ligger på den ständiga gränsdragningen kring privat och offentlighet i vardagen och hur individer uppträder online, hur de där formar sina roller och sin identitet och där G. H.

E-handeln ökar ständigt och inte minst när det kommer till klädbranschen. Konsumenter värderar tillgängligheten och utbudet som internet erbjuder. Dock upplever konsumenter en större risk med att handla på internet jämfört med en fysisk butik. Det beror på att den fysiska interaktionen mellan produkt och konsument försvinner. Konsumenter känner då en större risk för att produkten inte ska uppfylla deras förväntningar.

The purpose of this article is to investigate how and from which sources librarians collect information on their profession with respect to factors that are important for their work. In order to achieve this goal, a questionnaire-based survey will be conducted at three medium-sized central-public-libraries in southern Sweden. Using this survey, I wish to answer the following four questions: To what extent do librarians acquaint themselves with changes and developments within regional and cultural policy arenas important to their work? To what extent do librarians acquaint themselves with information using conferences and library debates that are focussed on changes and developments relevant to their work? Do librarians consider that they have enough time within the limits of their work hours to follow developments within the librarian profession, for example with respect to developments within information technology, and how would they appraise the future demand for information technology-based services at the library? From which source(s) do librarians collect information relevant to their work? The theoretical basis of this paper can be compared to a radar as it scans subjects-of-interest to the organization in the field of business intelligence. This investigation uses a quantitative method, with data collected via a survey consisting of 13 questions.

Den här artikeln undersöker det aktuella kunskapsläget gällande ungdomars sexuella riskbeteenden på internet. Det är en litteraturöversikt som samlar bland annat fynd om risker som ungdomar möter online. Vi undersöker även vad forskning på området har kommit fram till avseende skydd och förebyggande åtgärder. Resultaten visar på att det är ett problem som ofta har överdrivits, gällande dess utbredning och graden av fara i det som en del ungdomar företar sig när de använder internet. Samtidigt tyder resultaten på att det, detta till trots, är ett problem att ta på allvar och att både forskning, professionella, föräldrar m fl.

Syfte: Förstå hur bankens marknadsstrategier, tekniska och organisatoriska utveckling har påverkat utvecklingen av finansiella tjänster på Internet Metod Den metod vi har använt oss av är kvalitativa forskningsintervjuer med beslutsfattare inom det svenska bankväsendet. Genom att göra personliga intervjuer uppkom det en helt annan kontakt med respondenten. Tanken var även att vi skulle intervjua personer på bankerna vilka dagligen arbetar med liknande frågor, detta för att få så bra kvalitet som möjligt på de svar som vi fick. Vi valde att intervjua två av de fyra stora svenska bankerna, valet föll på Handelsbanken och SEB. Slutsats Det finns primära och sekundära strategier bakom utvecklingen av finansiella tjänster på Internet i Sverige. Dessa strategier är integrerade med varandra.
