The goal of the project was to create an extension to Internet Explorer forStatens Tjänstepensionsverk (SPV) which would give the staff the experience ofSingle sign-on (SSO) to external web service providers as well as manage andupdate their passwords in a secure manner. The survey focused on the providersPalasso, ProCompetence and Wera. The extension was created as a BrowserHelper Object (BHO) with C# in .NET. The solution was implemented as aCOM object in a DLL-file that was running in-process with the browser. Theprogram used a locally stored XML file containing URLs, usernames andencrypted passwords to the providers.

The use of marketing research panels are a more and more frequently used source of information for studies within many different branches. The purpose of this report is to investigate the demographic composition of panels and compare it with the population of Sweden, a possible change in behaviour of respondents, and if the source of recruitment is the cause of possible differences in study results. The study was commissioned by Norstats Linkoping office. Sources for the data material include Norstat?s recruitment process and their two main panels with different recruitment sources.

The aim of my study is to answer the question whether there is a potential for services by working horses in the Swedish municipalities. The Swedish University for Agricultural Sciences (SLU) and Swedish Farmers Union (LRF) has started a cooperation called Climate School (Klimatskolan), with the purpose to increase knowledge in environmental and climate related issues in context of agriculture. This Master thesis is in the framework of the Climate School.Global warming is a problem that gets much attention today. Global warming and climate change are two subjects that are very much in focus on the political agenda. The municipalities of Sweden have a big responsibility concerning environmental work and to develop their own environmental thinking.

I det moderna samhället utför många privatpersoner ekonomiska handlingar på Internet. Vi handlar i större utsträckning via Internet vilket kräver att vi skyddar oss mot olika datasäkerhetshot för att vår personliga information inte hamnar i fel händer. I studien gjordes en kartläggning på privatpersoners medvetenhet av datasäkerhetshot genom enkätundersökningar. Vidare undersökte vi vad två e-handelsföretag gör för att skydda privatpersonens personliga information. Resultaten visade att datasäkerhetsmedvetenheten var hög hos många privatpersoner men det fanns ett samband mellan ålder och medvetenhet.

Denna studie undersökte det gruppsykologiska fenomenet konformitet på Internet. Deltagare var 941 personer från tio olika communities och forum. Av deltagarna var 58,9% kvinnor och åldern varierade mellan 12 och 88 år med en medelålder på drygt 30 år. Konformitet undersöktes genom en webbenkät där deltagarna utifrån födelsemånad fördelades på en konformitets- och en kontrollgrupp. Enkätfrågorna rörde allmänbildning, logisk förmåga samt attityder.

Internetanvändande är idag vardag för många barn och unga. Barnen är medlemmar på och använder communitys, de chattar och skickar mail till varandra samt använder snabbmeddelandeklienter såsom msn. Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka hur 41 stycken tolvåringar på en skola belägen i en mindre ort i Skåne använder internet, både hemma och i skolan samt att ta reda på hur skolan använder internet i undervisningen och vilken information skolan har gett tolvåringarna om internet. För att få svar på dessa frågor gjordes enkäter med 41 stycken tolvåringar samt intervjuer med deras lärare och rektor. I enkätundersökningen framgår det att en övervägande del av tolvåringar både har dator och internet hemma samt att många av dessa surfar helt själv.

The blog is used as a communication site for the preschools and school. This exam graduate work is made of three blog analysis, the analysis is made to see if the blogs can help the preschool and school to communicate wiht the parents.The theory I have decided to use in this study is the sociocultural theory.

There are several possibilities for those with an eating disorder, who wishes to get treatment and recover to get help and support. But for those who are not ready to recover, there are not any help to receive. Pro-ana is a youth culture where individuals who want to achieve the anorectic ideal help and support each other. The purpose of this study was to describe and analyse the content and the need for the Pro-ana community on Internet, among young people with eating disorders. More specifically the aim was to find out how young Swedish people uses the Pro-ana communities on Internet.

The purposeof this survey is to study both teachers and students view regarding theevaluation and grading in the subject Physical Education A. In order to meetthe purpose, the survey is executed by focusing on three main researchquestions: What is the teachers and students notion of the goals of the subjectand the course plan? Which knowledge is evaluated in the subject, according toteachers and students? Which factors, believe teachers and students, affect theevaluation? The results of the survey is established by qualitative interviewsthat has been conducted with four teachers and five students in two schoolslocated in a medium ? sized city in the south east of Sweden.The resultsof the survey indicate that not only teachers, but also students consider thecourse plan and the grading criterias is relatively unclear and interpretablein a lot of different ways. Teachers and students also states the theoreticaland practical moments are equally important when evaluating. Further, theystate that knowledge in ergonomics, exercises theory, diets, swimming andleadership skills are important knowledge in the subject.

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka hur lärare förhåller sig till Internet i undervisningen samt hur de förhåller sig till källkritik i Internetundervisningen. Fyra lärare från två olika skolor, undervisande i årskurserna 5-6, intervjuas i studien. I studien framkommer att en majoritet av lärarna ställer sig positiva till Internet i undervisningen samt att det råder en oklarhet bland lärarna vad källkritik för Internetkällor innebär. Majoriteten av lärarna undervisar dock eleverna i källkritik, men då framför allt källkritik av andra källor än hämtade från Internet. Källkritik av Internetkällor sker när lärarna anser att eleverna kommer i kontakt med information på Internet som inte anses etisk hållbar eller som anses mindre trovärdig.

This thesis includes an energy survey of the Herrgården pre-school, which has a modern heating- and ventilation system, and a comparison with Östers pre-school which has an older system. An energy survey of Östers pre-school has already been done by a group of three students and all the calculations and values have been collected from that survey. As of today, both pre-schools are heated thru district heating. It will be much easier to make smart and feasible energy-saving-measures by first conducting the energy survey.Herrgården pre-school in Gävle houses 81 children, therteen teachers, one cleaner and one cook. It was finished in the middle of 2009 and the staff has been very pleased with the in-door climate.

This paper studies patterns of consumption within a product category. Using make-up as a base for the study, we applied the Mokken Scale to examine if consumers follow a hierarchical pattern when buying items within the product category. Based on a survey of 250 female respondents, we establish a hierarchic scale for consumption. Assuming generally accepted attributes for determining physical attractiveness, the results of the Mokken Scale study were cross referenced with a survey among 200 male and female respondents. This survey aims to investigate and analyze how six teachers on a high school in Stockholm reflect on pedagogical aspects of problem based learning( PBL). The survey focuses on ana-lyzing how the teachers relate to the benefits and problems of PBL and how they reflect on the students development. The survey was conducted on a high school and the method used for the study was interviews, each taking 30-45 minutes. The outcome of the survey indicates that the teachers sees problem based learning as an alternative to what they define as tradi-tional education regarding its epistemology. They indicate that PBL allows the students to define their own questions, to be carriers of knowledge and to evolve analytic skills in relation to the basegroup.

E-handeln ökar ständigt och inte minst när det kommer till klädbranschen. Konsumenter värderar tillgängligheten och utbudet som internet erbjuder. Dock upplever konsumenter en större risk med att handla på internet jämfört med en fysisk butik. Det beror på att den fysiska interaktionen mellan produkt och konsument försvinner. Konsumenter känner då en större risk för att produkten inte ska uppfylla deras förväntningar.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine young people?s information needs whenthey are deciding on what upper secondary education to choose, why they usedInternet to find the information, and how they experienced their informationseeking. A qualitative study was made using interviews. The study?s respondentsconsisted of young people who are soon to be leaving elementary school, andyoung people who have just started their upper secondary education.
