The purpose of this study was to analyze recent appropriations of works of art in advertising. Why was art infused into magazine advertisements, how were the works of art tampered with to achieve commercial goals, how well did they function together with the ad copy? What did these advertisements want? What did the artwork contribute to the commercial message? These were some of the questions asked in the study that involved a closer look at four appropriations: one based on a battle painting by the Swedish 1900th century artist Carl Wahlbom, with a commercial message printed on top;  one a collage including an 18th century portrait of Marie Antoinettte by Elisabeth Vigée-Lebrun; one advertisement was influenced by Dutch 1700th century still lifes, and, finally, one paraphrased Velázquez?s famous painting Las Meninas from 1655. Companies behind the advertisements featured a Swedish trade journal, a fashion exhibition in Paris, a shop for kitchen utensils in Stockholm, and an up-scale department store in Madrid.The ads, in different ways based on works of art, were evaluated as reasonably successful commercial messages. These ads, however, hardly qualified as works of art in their own right ? if that was the intention.

Syftet med vår magisteruppsats är att undersöka kunders förväntningar på butiksutbudet i förhållande till en plats som från början inte varit ämnad för handel av varor och tjänster men som nu är under förändring.Vi har använt oss av en kombinerad strategi. Detta innebär att vi kombinerat en kvantitativ enkätundersökning som genomfördes under tre dagar på en flygbuss mellan Helsingborg och Ängelholm med tre stycken kvalitativa telefonintervjuer som vardera tog mellan 15-20 minuter. Vi analyserar vårt empiriska material ur ett kvalitativt perspektiv.Denna magisteruppsats grundas främst på teorier om förväntningar och föreställningar som påverkar dessa, samt platser. Vi använder oss av begrepp som förväntningsdynamik, plats och ickeplats. Teorikapitlet utmynnar sedan i en modell baserad på dessa teorier.Vi har kunnat visa att flygplatsen som plats starkt påverkar flygresenärernas förväntningar.

Abstract The use of electronic media plays an important part in the life of youth and especially Internet and mobile phones are important in the social and cultural networks of youth. The first step of this thesis is to examine the ICT-based activities of upper secondary school students through an online survey. The second step is to examine what didactic implications can be derived from the ICT-based activities in the subject of Swedish. Results from this survey and national and international research show that young people spend the majority of their leisure time on the Internet. The result also shows that media activities displace other school related activities such as traditional reading and writing.

Uppsatsens syfte är att undersöka vilken ekonomisk betydelse crowdfunding har för företag i uppstartsfasen när de är i behov av kapital. Det teoretiska perspektivet vi utgått ifrån är två teorier: det finansiella gapet och preferensordningen i pecking order teori. Detta för att se vilken ekonomisk betydelse crowdfunding har för att täcka det finansiella behovet och även se vart i preferens-ordningen denna finansieringsform hamnar. Det empiriska datainsamlingssätt denna studie använder sig av är två stycken intervjuer med öppna frågor. Empirin består av redovisning av intervjuer med två respondenter. Studien visar att crowdfunding har en ekonomisk betydelse för företag i uppstartsfasen. Detta genom att vara ett komplement till de traditionella finansieringsformerna. .

Syftet med denna uppsats är att med hjälp av fokusgruppsintervjuer med män mellan 25 och 35 år, belysa deras syn på konsumtion på köpcentrum. Vi använder oss av en kvalitativ metod i form av fokusgruppsintervjuer. Vi utförde tre fokusgrupper där respektive grupp bestod av fyra till fem män mellan 25 och 35 år. Vi använder oss av teorier om miljö, beteende och genus för att förstå de faktorer män ser som betydande i köpcentret. Vi utgår från en egen modell baserad på S-O-R-paradigmet, Servicescape- och Servuctionsmodellen.

The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of joint venture announcements on stock prices behavior and simultaneously to test the German stock market (Frankfurter Wertpapierbörse) for efficiency. We tried not only to analyze the general impacts of a JV-announcement but also to look for differences in the market response to announcements of different types of joint ventures, namely: domestic, international, horizontal and vertical. Our expectations of efficient market were confirmed during our paper, which employed the technique of the standard event study. The calculation of abnormal returns which are the signals for market efficiency or inefficiency respectively were based on the market model, establishing linear relationship between the return on the market and the return on an individual security. To be able to adopt, the future adoptive parents must participate in parental education and have a home investigation done. The home investigation is extensive and great demands are made on the parents. The purpose with this study was to get an insight and understanding in the parents? thoughts and feelings about the demands and expectations that are made on them during an international adoption. To answer this, we used these questions: Which demands and expectations are made on the future adoptive parents by the home investigator and the parental educator? How do the future adoptive parents experience the demands and expectations that are made on them before an adoption? Does the apprehension about the demands and expectations differ between the future adoptive parents and the home investigator contrary the parental educator? We used a qualitative method, interviewing four couples of parents, one home investigator and one parental educator.

Att behärska två språk och två länders syn på pedagogik är en bra förutsättning om man vill undersöka och jämföra dessa två länders syn på barn med funktionsnedsättning. Syftet med föreliggande uppsats är därmed att belysa hur skolans styrdokument i Sverige och i Ungern formulerar och beskriver barn med funktionsnedsättning. En del av syftet är också att finna likheter och skillnader mellan det svenska och det ungerska styrdokumentet.Som material till ändamålet används den nya svenska Skollagen (2010) och den ungerska Utbildningslagen (1993). Analysen genomfördes med analysverktyget diskursanalys där jag har analyserat språket som beskriver barn med funktionsnedsättning.Resultaten visar att båda skollagarna har en tydlig koppling till de gällande internationella dokumenten där allas lika värde poängteras. Den svenska Skollagen har dessutom en relationell och deltagande syn på funktionsnedsättning medan den ungerska Utbildningslagen, som är 17 år äldre än den svenska lagen, betonar en kompensatorisk och individinriktad syn..

The Swedish Armed Force has a need to streamline the preparation of an exercise in tactical training for soldiers because the preparation of an exercise is currently laborious and time consuming when commanders manually share files to each computer that will be included in the exercise. The degree project was to create a file sharing program within the internal network of the Defence Forces? international centre (Swedint). The program is used by the training management to effectively start up an exercise where soldiers train tactical training in a simulated combat environment. The training management use this program to upload files to a server which notifies all the computers on the network to download these files.

One of the larger Chinese establishments in Sweden happened in 2003, by the telecom company Huawei.
