The conflict in the former Yugoslavia was characterised by extensive war crimes committed by all parties in the conflict. Two international courts, The International Court of Justice and the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia, have both judged if a genocide was committed in this conflict. This paper examines how these two courts relates to each other concerning their legal judgement of the crime of genocide. Two cases are analysed; the judgement of Radislav Krstic´ at the ICTY and the case Bosnia and Hercegovina v. Serbia and Montenegro at the ICJ.

Sweden is in the initial phase of forming a national forest programme (nfp). The establishment of an nfp has been evoked by international policy developments and a national debate questioning Swedish forestry and forest policy. National forest programmes are participatory processes for the development and implementation of forest-related policies and international commitments. Hence, the aim of this master thesis is to assess the stakeholders? acceptance of participation and integration of international issues within the Swedish national forest programme.

Detta är en teoretisk uppsats som jämför ett antal olika relevanta teoretikers problematisering av begreppen IMF conditionality, nationellt ägandeskap och statssuveränitet samt dessa teoretikers syn på relationen mellan dessa. Jag har analyserat innehållet i ett antal olika litterära källor och jag refererar till ett flertal antal teoretiker. De ekonomiska lån som IMF ger till stater är villkorade med åtaganden som mottagarlandet måste uppfylla. Dessa villkor hänvisas ofta till som IMF conditioanlity. Statssuveränitet och nationellt ägandeskap definieras som en stats kontroll av sin egen inhemska politik, i denna uppsats begränsad till att gälla den ekonomiska politiken.

Informationsteknik (IT) är en marknad som förändras snabbt. Att investera i IT kan därför vara kritiskt. Att ha en strategi för hur satsningar på IT ska göras kan minska risken för felinvesteringar på IT men strategin kan även ge andra fördelar. Att ha en IT-strategi innebär dock inte automatiskt att den ger fördelar. IT-strategin bör även användas.

Bakgrund och Problem: Att spara i fonder som investerar etiskt har varit något av en trend de senaste åren. Sedan mitten av 1990-talet har antalet etiska fonder tiodubblas. Men alla fonder är inte så etiska som de utger sig för att vara. Begreppet etisk fond är inte uppenbart. Bedömningen av vad som kan klassificeras som etiskt måste därmed göras av den enskilde från fall till fall.

Följande rapport behandlar hur välgörenhetsorganisationer arbetarför att konkurrera med varandra när det handlar om att attraheragivare. Mina undersökningar har visat att det inte längre räckermed att stå på stan och sjunga eller gå runt med en bössa för atttjäna ihop till ett gott ändamål. Nu för tiden är givare väldigtkräsna och kräver något tillbaka och det tidigt. Mitt arbete ärfokuserat på välgörenhet som gagnar barn och ungdomar.Granskningarna är fokuserade på audiellt material. Somkomplement till mina efterforskningar har jag gjort ett praktisktarbete där jag producerat ett releasematerial för radio till FondenJag och Min Hund, en fiktiv fond med målet att främja ett liv medservicehund.

Den svenska individens tillgångar slussas till allt större del till den växande fondmarknaden. Ett stort antal nya aktörer tar större plats på marknaden och ett mycket bredare utbud av varierande placeringsalternativ har framkommit. Dessa nya omständigheter har skapat en stor kunskapsbrist hos placeraren. Det är svårt att ta ett välgrundat beslut om hur ens kapital bör placeras. Samtidigt har fondförvaltarnas arbete ifrågasatts.

Sammanfattning Syfte: Arbetets syfte är att utreda vilka effekter olika prestationsrelaterade avgifter och avgiftsmodeller skulle få på en utvald fond där avgifterna är traditionellt fasta. Metod: För att tillgodogöra arbetets syfte har avgiftsmodeller utformats i Excel för att på detta sätt utvärdera vilka effekter dessa modeller fått på en fond där avgifterna är traditionellt fasta. Fonden som detta testas på är SEB Sverigefond 1. Modellerna har utformats med hjälp av fondbestämmelser från de fonder som idag använder sig av prestationsrelaterade fondavgifter samt med berörda fondförvaltare. De data vi använt oss av erhölls från Johan Otterbeck på SEB.

AbstractIn 1998 the United Nations held a diplomatic conference on the establishment of an International Criminal Court in Rome. In the end of the conference the negotiating states adopted the Rome Statute by which an international criminal court was established. The court, which entered into force on 1 July 2002, has jurisdiction over the crimes of genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes. The court also has jurisdiction over the crimes of aggression but the court will only be able to exercise its jurisdiction of this crime category when the member states of the court have found a definition of the crime.In the draft statute, which was prepared before the conference, acts of terrorism were a proposed crime. With the starting-point in the Rome conference this essay studies how the working-definition of crimes of terrorism was elaborated in the draft statute and how the state delegations viewed the crime.

This study investigates to which degree international developments in cataloguing have influenced Swedish cataloguing rules (KRS). The results show that KRS has been influenced by international developments in cataloguing to varying degrees. The study also shows that KRS has been influenced by Anglo-American cataloguing rules, previous editions of Swedish cataloguing rules and by the work undertaken by the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions..

The purpose of this study is to examine how a particular niche in tourism can attract international visitors to a certain destination. To do this, the Swedish food culture was used as a tool to find out how it is marketed to attract international visitors to Sweden. International visitors today wants to find destinations with a rich culture, authentications and traditions to get closer to the destinations identity. The study examines how three of the biggest companies, who works with the promotion of Sweden to an international audience, using the Swedish food culture as a marketing tool. Today adjustments on the pricing of internal transactions between multinational enterprises can lead to economic double taxation for the involved companies. This circumstance will result in an obstacle for private enterprising on the international market. Rules regarding corresponding adjustments and the mutual agreement procedure, that is used to eliminate economic double taxation, are today not sufficient tools to achieve this purpose. Consequently, changes regarding these rules should be implemented.The main reason for why economic double taxation is not put right is the competent authorities? inability to reach a suitable solution for the dispute.

The failure of Structural Adjustment Programs and its neoliberal policies to effectively reduce poverty have led to the creation of Poverty Reduction Strategy Paper (PRSP) by The World Bank and International Monetary Fund. PRSP, connected to both the Comprehensive Development Strategy and the HIPC initiative, are built on the notion of national ownership and stakeholder participation and thereby expand potential conditionality to include matters of governance. This thesis examines the evolution of PRSP and how the process of participation affects national governance structures. By analyzing the role of rules and norms within the World Bank and IMF from a historical point of view the thesis explains why the participation process has developed the way it has. It concludes that neoliberal norms, still at heart within the World Bank and IMF, have an impact on the process of participation within nation states and thereby its governance structure.
