Many design agencies and designers like to see design as a longtime strategic investment for any company. However, knowledge of design as a strategic resource depends on ones professional background and ones knowledge of design as such. It is common today that clients meet design agencies and therefore design with a certain skepticism concerning its role in the company. Within the prodctdevelopment-process the company?s different functions meet.

Syftet med studien var att ta reda på vilka strategier elever väljer när de ska lösaett matematiskt problem. Vi genomförde en observation och nio individuellaintervjuer med elever i årskurs 3. De fick lösa ett matematiskt problem somobserverades. Utifrån elevernas lösningar genomförde vi sedan intervjuer för attta reda på vilka strategier de valt att använda för att lösa problemet. Resultatet avelevernas lösningar visade på flera olika lösningsstrategier.

The keywords were: obesity paradox, cardiovascular, heart, male, BMI, intentional weight loss, cardiovascular mortality and mortality heart failure.Selection criteria: Studies, which had an adult population classified after BMI that suffered from chronic cardiovascular disease and had all-cause mortality and cardiovascular mortality as endpoints, were included.Data collection and analysis: Ten studies were included.

This master's thesis on the subject of public law will deal with the implications ?Directive 2001/18/EC on the deliberate release into the environment of genetically modified organisms? might have on the Swedish legal system. The purpose of the directive is to harmonize the European Union States legislation regarding licensing of the deliberate release of GMO?s into the environ­ment, this to maintain a high level of environmental protection and at the same time preserve the Internal market of the European Union. The thesis will primarily examine how the provisions of the directive relating to the general principle of good administration have impacted the proce­dural autonomy of Sweden.

This thesis applies to a novel steam expander, one part of a steam engine system, a wobble plateengine. The piston in the expander moves axially with the outgoing rotating shaft and is locatedon a plate, why the engine type is called axial engine. When steam is applied to the plungers theplate wobbles creating a rotation on the shaft going thru the wobble plate. This thesis aims to increase understanding and knowledge of issues affecting the redevelopment of older office buildings to housing. The rising demand for housing in recent years has resulted in a need and an increase in cost housing projects. The need has led property owners wanting to build old office buildings to apartments. The case study is carried out in Lycksele town and in close contact with consultancy TM (Technician Mercantile) ? consulting, which has operations in the area.

The changes shall result in improved work environment and increased product quality. The method contains value stream mapping, concept selection and P-FMEA and complies with Emhart Glass goal to become a more Lean focused business.

Goods that children come in contact with on a daily basis for example toys, electronics, textiles, household items, have attracted an increased attention in recent years because of a common occurrence of residues of potentially hazardous chemical substances. Some municipalities in Stockholm have developed plans for managing chemical risks and work systematically to phase out products containing hazardous substances. This thesis aims to contribute to an improved knowledge base for any future work with non-toxic nursery schools in Haninge. The study's focus is on the challenges encountered by conditions and problems of preschool personnel to manage chemical risks in early childhood environments. Primary data was collected through a qualitative approach based on semi-structured interviews with both the preschool staff and practitioners working in the central organization of the municipality.

On the 1st of November 2010, the statutory audit was abolished for small limited companies. The amendment of the abolished statutory audit includes smaller private limited companies that for two years does not exceed more than one of the two following limits: net revenue of three million kronor, total assets of one and one half million kronor and three employees. Den offentliga sektorn är en viktig arbetsplats och utgör en funktion i att stärka välfärden.För att verksamheterna ska fortsätta att utvecklas är det av största vikt att välfärdssektornarbetar för att stärka och utveckla ledarskapet. Vår uppfattning är att delar av de problemsom den offentliga sektorn idag kämpar med grundar sig i att den inte aktivt förvaltar ocharbetar med identiteten. Det är ett arbete som innebär att på ett effektivt sätt förhålla sigtill sina intressenter. Syfte med denna uppsats är att belysa komplexiteten i ledarskapet,utifrån valda teorier kring struktur, kultur, identitet och kommunikation vill vi vidareförsöka identifiera eventuella likheter och skillnader mellan olika verksamheter i enkommun som kan hjälpa till att beskriva komplexiteten. Vår förhoppning är att dettaperspektiv kan bli ett bidrag för ledarnas fortsatta arbete med utvecklingen av denoffentliga sektorn.

De traditionella flygbolagen verkar på en marknad som kännetecknas av en ökad konkurrens. De är ofta delvis eller helt statligt ägda och präglas av tröga beslutsprocesser. På grund av sin befintliga struktur och gamla affärskultur har de svårt att konkurrera med priset som konkurrensmedel och måste därför fokusera på att skapa kundlojalitet.Uppsatsens syfte var att analysera och utvärdera SAS långsiktiga marknadsföringsstrategier genom en jämförande studie av företagets ledning, anställda samt kunder. För att belysa problemet har en gapanalys genomförts på SAS Sveriges ledning, anställda och kunder. Studiens teoridel är baserad på teorier om mervärdeskapande, organisation och lojalitet.Resultatet visar att gapet mellan SAS ledning och kunder var relativt litet då ledningen har kunskap och insikt om kundernas förväntningar på SAS tjänster.

Bakgrund: Förutsättningar för företag förändras ständigt. Samtidigt har kunder och anställda fått nya betydelsefulla roller för hur verksamheten utformas och vilka värderingar som företaget arbetar efter. Företagen förväntas i allt högre grad ta ett aktivt samhällsansvar, men satsningarna har hittills varit för kortsiktiga och inte visat på några ekonomiska resultat. Samhällsansvaret bör därför ses ur ett långsiktigt perspektiv och förankras strategiskt i företagets affärsidé.Problemformulering: Vilka faktorer är viktiga för att företag ska kunna överföra långsiktigt samhällsansvar till sin affärsidé?Syfte: Att analysera och utvärdera sambandet mellan interna strategier och överensstämmelsen mellan ledning och anställda med avseende på samhällsansvar.Metod: Uppsatsen bygger på en kvalitativ undersökning utifrån en deduktiv ansats.
