Background: Today businesses are largely structured in projects and temporary organizations. In many companies, the ability to pursue projects is decisive for the business efficiency and competitiveness. The risk literature do not discuss identification and handling ofproject risk in building- and construction companies to a large extent, which has led us to investigate how project risk can be treated and handled in Swedish building- and construction companies. Purpose: The purpose of this thesis is to cover and describe business risk in Swedish building- and construction projects with focus on different risks and risk tools, and also to modify a model for evaluating the business risk maturity. Realization: This thesis has both traces of a case study and a cross-section study and examines eight different companies that are active in the building- and construction business.

Har riten en djupare mening, ett arv vi bär med oss och känner ett undermedvetet behov av? Kan riten ge oss tröst? Vad har riten för betydelse för oss?I mitt examensarbete har jag undersökt hur vi genom riten reflekterar och knyter an till erfarenheten av att vara människa. Jag har tittat på om riten finns i vår vardag, utan att vi ser den. Kan de olika upprepande och igenkännande handlingar i ett hem ge oss den trygghet som en rit kan ge? Riten kännetecknas genomkontinuitet, igenkänning, tillhörighet och tröst.

Syftet med vårt arbete var att undersöka vad verksamma lärare anser om dagens material för trumsetsundervisning på nybörjarnivå, främst material avsett för kulturskolan och liknande skolformer. För att undersöka detta valde vi att först dela ut ett mindre antal enkäter och därefter göra fyra djupgående intervjuer med aktiva och behöriga trumlärare som har erfarenhet av att arbeta med trumsetsundervisning inom kulturskolan. Det visade sig att alla intervjupersoner ansåg att de undervisningsmaterial för nybörjartrummisar som existerar idag har många brister. Bland de brister som påpekades var t.ex. olika notationssätt, dåligt play- alongmaterial, avsaknad av genrebredd och att mycket av materialet helt enkelt är föråldrat.

The purpose of this study is to explore the factors affecting an individual's working life mobility and how this mobility is perceived by the individual. The study has a qualitative approach and the theoretical part is based on Castells', Giddens' and Bauman's theories of modern society and employment in relation to the individual. The study concludes that external circumstances in combination with internal driving forces are the reasons behind changing careers. The process is predominantly perceived as positive, especially education tends to strengthen self-identity. Work in general is regarded as important for a person's identity and new career changes are expected in the future..

This report is our Master thesis. Our work has taken place at a one-stop-shop in Sölvesborg during the spring of 2002. We have conducted ethnographical studies concerning the one-stop-shops frontdesk and telephone exchange. During these studies we became aware of some differences under which the daily work was to be carried out. When operating the switchboard the staff usually work alone and perform the tasks individually.

En av vardera av följande; Moderaterna, Kristdemokraterna, Centerpartiet, Vänsterpartiet, Socialdemokraterna och Miljöpartiet.Huvudresultat: Studien har visat att partiledarna fick mycket plats på valaffischerna och att partiledarna aktivt utförde något i bilderna. Partiledarna framställdes i sammanhang där omgivning och bildtext tillsammans skapade ett övergripande budskap. Partiledarnas personliga egenskaper var många och skilde sig en hel del mellan de olika affischerna. Det fanns däremot ett tydligt fokus på ledaregenskaper och särskilt på egenskaper som styrka och kompetens.

Sveriges landsbygd har länge präglats av följderna av enökande urbanisering. Förändringar i samhället har blandannat gjort att jord- och skogsbruket har rationaliseratsoch människorna har sökt sig till städerna för att finnaarbete och utbildning. Nu finns det dock tecken på att trenden med landsbygdens avbefolkning har börjat vända i och med att fokus har flyttats från enbart produktion tillatt även inbegripa rekreation..

I detta arbete redovisas en undersökning av förskol- och grundskollärares uppfattning om det konkreta materialets betydelse för ökad kommunikation i klassrummet ? mellan lärare/elev och mellan elev/elev. Eftersom undersökningen även var en utvärdering av ett matematikprojekt som gjordes på uppdrag av rektor på den skola där min studie genomfördes - var undersöknings­gruppen given. Nio lärare i förskoleklass respektive årskurs 1 och 2 deltog i intervjuer där frågorna utgick från seminarierna lärarna tog del av. Dessa seminarier syftade till att ge lärarna utbildning i hur kommunikationen i klassrummet kan öka genom att konkret material används i undervisningen.

Also political participation favours the collective and therefore you do not get any personal advantages for your contribution. Even more interesting is the question of why you participate when it puts yourself in a position of danger? Colombia is considered to be the most dangerous country to be a member of labour unions in and it would therefore be a context where it is unlikely to find participation. This study is based on thirteen qualitative interviews with Colombian female union members with the aim to understand why people engage in labour unions despite threats of violence and other obstacles, when the most likely would be to abstain from action.

Regional European Offices with the purpose to represent regions and municipalities in the EU-system have had a substantial expansion over the last years. One example is the North Sweden European Office for the counties of Norrbotten and Västerbotten, consisting of seven different headmen who are representing both the private sector as well as the public system. This diverse leadership representation makes North Sweden a very good example on a so called Quango, organisations that stand under simultaneous influence from both public and private sectors. These Quangos opens up new possibilities to solve public problems, but they also bring together two different working models which is not always easy to handle for a Quango. According to earlier surveys some characteristic Quango problems within North Sweden exist, for example the ability to prioritize and thereby be as effective as possible.

Bakgrunden till examensarbetet var att fördjupa mig i olika material och hur man på olika sätt kan använda sig av dem i grundskolans slöjdundervisning.Syftet med arbetet var att få en bredare kunskap om olika material och deras användningsområden.Metoder jag använde var främst litteratursökning, två intervjuer med verksamma slöjdlärare samt provade på de olika materialen och tekniker som jag hittade.Resultatet blev en form av handbok med de olika materialen där även standardmaterialen är med. Standardmaterialen har jag med då jag upplevt att elever många gånger inte vet hur de materialen beter sig. Det jag fann mest intressant i arbetet var allt jag lärde mig då jag provade på olika material, och även allt jag läste om de materialen jag har med i resultatet..

The purpose of this essay is to describe and analyze how three leisure centers in Örebrocounty are working with gender issues. Our research questions are:What is Machofabriken? How do leisure centers in Örebro county work with equal treatment?In which way do leisure centers in Örebro county work with Machofabriken?s material? Howcome the recreation centers in Örebro don?t use Machofabriken?s material to any greaterextent?We have focused on masculinity oriented gender projects at three leisure centers. We didsemi-structured interviews with three recreation leaders who have all been educated inMachofabriken. The interviews were analyzed based on terms that are central in genderequality and masculinity research.

However all this makes it very difficult to establish the provenance of Kungsgärdets sjukhus, because it is impossible to know how all these fonds and its material of archive affects Kungsgärdets sjukhus as a fonds specially since the other fonds have not been organized and catalogued, and There for it is difficult to know were the provenance and the truth of Kungsgärdets sjukhus is.Kungsgärdets sjukhus arrived at Landstingsarkivet in Uppsala län together with several other fonds at different times.

The aim with this study was to investigate the effects a change of manufacturing process would have on the mechanical properties of drill bits made of a WC/Co composite used for stone cutting. The method used today is sintering, where the material is heated in a conventional sintering oven. The other method was microwave sintering, where the material is heated by radiation in the microwave region. Also an investigation of the manufacturing cost were made.The main difference between the two heating methods is that the conventional way is a rather slow process and the microwave method is very fast. The material is also heated homogeniously in the method with mirowaves, aposed to the case with the conventional sintering where the material is heated from the outside in.This makes the material harder and more wear resistent.
