The study explores collective action in Sweden between 1980 to 1995 using time-series data from the European Protest and Coercion Database. In spite of severe hardship during the crisis of the early 1990s, Swedish strike-rates declined. However, contention merely shifted from workplaces into the streets; there was indeed a protest movement against austerity, as shown by a series of large demonstrations, and some riots, between 1989 and 1993. Further analysis indicates this movement faded as it was increasingly chanelled into the electoral campaign of the labor pary; having won the 1994 election, the organised labor movement no longer had an interest in sustaining the protest movement against austerity..

Denna studie tar sin utgångspunkt i ett historiografiskt perspektiv och undersöker användningen av myter i historiska pedagogiska texter i läromedel för gymnasieskolan som behandlar det antika Grekland mellan 1980 ? 2012. Tidigare forskning visar på att läromedel har en central roll i undervisningen och att innehållet i pedagogiska texter påverkas av de tolkningar som författarna gör. De tolkningar som författarna i sin tur gör kan vara färgade av ideologiska intressen enligt forskning på området. Internal Market Harmonisation and Trade Implications for Non-EU Companies

After the formation of the European Union internal market in 1992, member state specific obstacles and barriers were largely removed. This was especially the case in harmonised industries where standardisation and technical regulation have led to legal certainty. Despite this, a large range of trade regulation continues to remain distortional to trade, in addition to the ongoing tariffs and subsidies. The key trade regulations relate to a number of areas involving technical regulations such as production labelling and the protection of intellectual property rights. Whilst policy makers claim justification based around the need to correct market failure in delivering desired outcomes, the question is whether these regulations are appropriate responses to market failures or if they have simply been imposed in an attempt to protect domestic markets.

Sammanfattning Det befintliga va-nätet växer hela tiden och blir större och större. Ledningarna i nätet har en viss antagen livslängd som talar om ungefär hur länge de antas hålla. Man antar att de äldre ledningarna löper större risk att gå sönder och att därmed behöver renoveras mer än de yngre, eftersom de når förväntad livslängd först. Innan 1980-talet renoverade man inte va-ledningar, istället grävde man upp de gamla ledningarna och anlade nya. I och med att nätet är så stort idag är det inte ekonomiskt hållbart att lägga om gamla ledningar hela tiden. Därför började man i början av 1980-talet prova olika renoveringsmetoder.

Studiens övergripande syfte är att undersöka hur den samiska minoriteten har gestaltats i Rapport mellan åren 1980 och 2014. Utöver det syftar studien till att ta reda på om gestaltningen är konfliktorienterad. Samt att undersöka hur Rapport i sin gestaltning av den samiska minoriteten förhåller sig till SVT:s senaste sändningstillstånd med avseende på mångfald i nyhetsurvalet. Undersökningen bygger på en kvantitativ innehållsanalys av 244 Rapportinslag med samiskt huvudfokus. Studien bygger på teorier om gestaltning och nyhetsvärdering.

This report is written for a consultant networking company with the purpose to review the development ofthe company's remote connections from a user friendly and security perspective.This includes an investigation of the possibilities to consolidate existing authentication methods foraccessing customers. The problem lies in the amount of methods being used. Through case study wefound that smart cards, SMS-service, software and hardware tokens exist.The only method feasible from a security perspective is smart cards. Since the method is not commonlyused by the company's customers a standardization of it would be counterproductive.Also, the purpose of this report is to investigate how the ongoing internal development of the remoteconnection will affect the company's clients. Within this framework we have also verified a designsuggestion.We interpret, after the completion of the case study, that the internal development of the remoteconnection is marginally affected by legal perspectives.

Cochleaimplant could be seen as a form of advanced hearing aid, this product consists of two parts, an external part that recieves sound and sends signals to the internal part through electromagnetism. The internal part is the implant itself and is surgically placed in to the cochlea. Örebro University hospital has just started working within the field of Cochleaimplants and are therefore in need of a database to store patient related information.The database problem was solved using Microsoft Access 2003 combined with the built-in support for Visual Basic, which is a sort of programming language.
