IntroduktionUtifrån tidigare forskning har en modell föreslagits som beskriver att lågintensiv aerob uthållighetsträning ska ha mindre negativ påverkan på effekten av styrketräning jämfört med högintensiv aerob uthållighetsträning. Detta påstående har funnit visst stöd i litteraturen men vidare forskning krävs för att det ska kunna fastställas.SyfteDenna studie syftar till att undersöka ifall det föreligger någon skillnad mellan högintensiv aerob intermittent löpträning och lågintensiv aerob kontinuerlig löpträning vad gäller dess påverkan på utveckling av benstyrka och muskelstorlek vid samtidig styrketräning.MetodSex måttligt tränade män (25 (22-26) år) blev slumpvis tilldelade ett av två olika, sex veckor långa, träningsprogram. Den ena gruppen (HI, n=3) tränade hypertrofiinriktad styrketräning två gånger i veckan samt 2-3 pass med högintensiv aerob intermittent löpning (90-95 % av HFmax). Den andra gruppen (LI, n=3) tilldelades samma styrkeprogram men deras uthållighetsträning bestod istället av lågintensiv aerob kontinuerlig löpning (75 % av HFmax). Mätningar av kroppsvikt, lårmuskelns tvärsnittsarea och 1 RM i benpress utfördes innan och efter träningsperioden.

This bachelor thesis portray a project where the main task were to develop a computer based system prototype for handling of absence report at the upper secondary school af Chapman in Karlskrona. The project has been conducted in cooperation with students from the university programs software engineering and information economy at Blekinge Institute of Technology. Our task as MDA-students have been to survey the process of absence report of today through field studies and give a proposal of a graphical user interface which later were developed by the software engineers. The thesis also handles the cooperation with other students from other university programs..

This study analyses five different picture books from the last few decades. The aim of the analysis was to investigate how relations between children and adults are presented in the picture books. One way to achieve this has been to focus on the adults? presence or absence in the narrative, and also what kind of authority the adult(s) can have in the action and how it can affect relations between children and adults. The idea is that this degree project can be adapted for practical use in school.

SammanfattningOlika fälttest är flitigt använda för att utvärdera fotbollsspelares fysiska uthållighet, däribland Yo-Yo Intermittent Recovery Level 1 (Yo-Yo IR1) och Coopers löptest. Ytterst lite är dock känt om Coopertestets lämplighet som mätmetod i en sport med intermittent arbete som fotboll. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka prestation i Coopertestet i förhållande till Yo-Yo IR1 testet hos fotbollsspelare på olika tävlingsnivåer. Under försäsongen testades 19 manliga fotbollsspelare (23 ± 4 år, 181 ± 9 cm, 77 ± 9 kg) från svensk division 1 (hög-nivå, n=5), division 3 (mellan-nivå, n=6) och division 5 (låg-nivå, n=8). Coopertestet består av oavbruten löpning så långt som möjligt under 12 minuter på löparbana.

The purpose of this thesis is to find out the reasons and perhaps some answers to the problem as we see it, the sickness benefit expiration of those who experience this. By this said we have also taken into account the different laws and adjustments in the long-term sickness benefit, but also major reformation of the security net in the Swedish society. The efficiency of the law on passive long-term sickness absence was added in July 2008, but was later in January 2010 supplemented. The purpose of this law wasn?t only to reduce the long-term sickness absence but also to reduce exclusion.

The health care sector Öster has the highest average absence due to short-time sickness in Örebro. It is the short-term absence that has the highest costs for the organisation, not just in money, but also in quality disturbances and administrative work. Health care sector Öster is divided into four areas with a manager for each. We have chosen to conduct our research within the special housings in area one and four, since these two had the lowest and highest short-term absences.The purpose with the research is to examine short-term absences among the health care personnel in the health care sector Öster, see what the absences depend on, and what can be done to solve the issue. We will compare the absences in the area with the highest respectively lowest short-term absences in order to see if there are any prominent differences between the two.

Resultatet från ett flertal vetenskapliga studier indikerar på att en god kosthållning har en positiv inverkan på idrottsliga prestationer. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka om det fanns några skillnader i kostintag, daglig fysisk aktivitet och intermittent uthållighet hos elitsatsande fjortonåriga fotbollspelare vid fotbollsakademier i Sverige och i Sydafrika. Testpersonerna bestod av nio sydafrikanska fotbollspelare och fjorton svenska. Samtliga spelare var pojkar födda år 1999. De tränade fotboll fem gånger i veckan med sina respektive fotbollsakademier.

Different field tests are currently used in a wide extent in different levels of soccer teams. To be able to assess the players? physiological status the tests must have high validity, reliability and external validity. Many different tests have been developt, but currently only five of these tests are most commonly used: Yo-Yo intermittent recovery test (YIRT), Yo-Yo intermittent endurance test (YIET), Multi-sprint-test, Beep-test and Cooper-test. Presently there is no definitive conclusion regarding which of these tests is most suitable for soccer players.

Patienter med morbid obesitas har en ökad risk för atelektasbildning och postoperativarespiratoriska komplikationer efter generell anestesi på grund av sänkt vitalkapacitet (VC),funktionel residualkapacitet (FRC) och total lungkapacitet (TLC). Tidigare forskning har visat attPostoperativ Bi-level Positiv Airway Pressure (BIPAP) ventilations behandling minskar denna risk.Denna studie avsåg att utvärdera om postoperativ BIPAP-behandling förbättrar patienternas SpO2,paO2 , paCO2 och pH i arteriellt blod efter genomgången elektiv gastric bypass kirurgi jämfört medtraditionell postoperativ behandling. Insamlat material från 18 patienter huvudsakligen bestående avarteriella blodgaser och bakgrundsdata analyserades med analytisk statistisk. För att kunna beskrivahur patienterna upplevde BIPAP-behandlingen ställdes två öppna frågor ställdes till patienterna,.Resultatet visar att postoperativ behandling med BIPAP under 3 timmar ger högre SpO2 och lägrepaCO2 än traditionell postoperativ behandling efter elektiv gastric bypass kirurgi. Vid bådabehandlingarna sjunker paO2 och pH är oförändrat.
