The purpose of this study is to generate a greater understanding of the different ways in which music can be used to build an identity and create image within movies, and also to explain the different impacts this can have on the parties involved. Through the history of movies music has been used as a tool for enhancement and for expression of emotions. Through music the audience relates to personal memories or emotional states and the experience is given a deeper impact, helping to create memorable movie scenes. Certain directors have created a unique identity through the use of music in their movies, and also artists have been brought forward by starring in a soundtrack. What we find interesting, and what is also the discussion in this study, is in what ways this collaboration/artistic expression can be done and what impact it has on the parties involved.

Vi måste ändra samhället vi lever i idag för detta samhälle är inte hållbart. En hållbar utveckling är därför viktig att sträva emot. Företag måste anpassa sig till en hållbar utveckling och de har lagar och krav som deska följa. För att de ska kunna uppnå en hållbar utveckling måste begreppet operationaliseras, tas ner till handlingsbara regler. Det är näst intill omöjligt att veta vad som ska göras för att uppnå en hållbar utveckling utan att bryta ner begreppet till delmål och lagar.

The aim of this essay is to illustrate a modern phenomenon, the Olympic Games, by applying the ideas of Mircea Eliade concerning space, time and myth. This literature study is mainly divided in two parts, one descriptive and one analytic. In the first part Eliade?s ideas and some criticism, which has been pointed against his theoretical approaches as well as his character, are presented. In the second part an analysis is carried out, based on the previously presented ideas and elements essential for the Olympics; the idea of the Olympics, the place, the ceremonies, the competition and the concept of individual idolism.I have discussed what seems like gnostic tendencies in Eliade?s ideas, in the sense that both Eliade?s ideas and the concept of Gnosticism argue that knowledge is a necessary condition for salvation, as well as the fact that Eliade and his ideas have not always a pro-Christian approach.

The aim of this essay was to investigate how teachers in the preschool class work with literacy. How do they justify the methods used to develop children's literacy abilities? I also wanted to know to what extent teachers enable multimodal approaches within written language practices. My study considers the impact teachers' professional identity has on working methods in the preschool class. I hope this essay will help teachers reflect on their learning approach. I gathered information by interviewing three preschool teachers and one compulsory school teacher for the early years working in three different preschool classes in three different schools.

This phenomenon has been acknowledged threw several well-known audit scandals during the last decade, including the classical Enronscandal. In the repercussions of these huge auditing scandals, governments all over the world were now founding more restrictive rules and laws about audit independence.

This scientific essay starts in a story where you get to follow me in my work by three situations with creative problem behavior at the special school where I work. The story culminates in a dilemma where I ask myself questions about how I look at my actions and my thoughts about the student. I break down and put these thoughts into three questions: What is my student's perspective and how will it affect my actions? How can I explain my actions and attitude of the student from ethical perspective? How do my practical knowledge look like in the narrative situations and why do I act like I do?My approach is to get answers to the questions by the reflection of the text itself, the reflection group and supervisors, as well as through literature that I find relevant to the issues. The process is like a pendulum motion between text, reflection and new understanding.I look at my situations based on psychological theories about the treatment of persons within the autism spectrum of problems creative behavior.

Background: According to the Swedish Social Board induced abortions are increasing in the modern day society. Nurses who work with in the gynecological department can come across patients seeking care for an induced abortion.Theoretical framework: The findings of the study will be discussed in relation to Peplau's nursing theory, ethical concepts and nursing concepts.Aim: The aim of the literature review was to illuminate the experiences of nurses working with induced abortion.Method: A systematic literature review with an inductive approach was chosen. The findings are based on seven qualitative and two quantitative studies. The articles were assessed through two different modified templates based on qualitative or quantitative design.Findings: Nurses and midwives experienced their work with induced abortions as emotionally stressful. However, it was highlighted that all women have the right whether to choose abortion or to proceed with the pregnancy.

One of the main goals of the national curriculum is to encourage children?s personal opinion and support them in development of argumentation ability and communication skills. All this is very important for the children as members of the future society.The purpose of this essay is to investigate how primary school teachers estimate the meaning of the pupil?s argumentation as well as which methods and approaches are assumed by the teachers to be most appropriate for children?s argumentation development. The study also considers the questions how the teachers motivate their pupil has to argue in the classroom and how the students by themselves understand the concept of argumentation.

Den globala temperaturökningen vi märker av idag är, enligt bland andra FN: s klimatpanel IPCC, delvis orsakad av människans utsläpp av växthusgaser. För att hantera klimatproblematiken på ett effektivt sätt och minska utsläppen, måste alla delar i samhället involveras. Det senaste året har miljöproblem, och framför allt det om den förstärkta växthuseffekten, kommit att betraktas som samhällsbyggnadsproblem. För att få med de flesta delar av samhället i arbetet med att minska utsläppen av växthusgaser, har man i Norrköpings kommun valt att arbete med problematiken i ett bredare perspektiv. Uppsatsen syftar till att undersöka hur Norrköpings kommun planerar att arbeta och arbetar med att minska sina utsläpp av klimatpåverkande gaser.

Denna studie behandlar den offentliga upphandlingens roll i arbetet mot hållbar utveckling. Syftet är att analysera vilken syn på detta som kommer till uttryck i den statliga offentliga utredningen 2001:31 och regerings propositionen 2001/02:142 om offentlig upphandling. Teorierna miljöekonomi och ekologisk ekonomi har använts för att få en uppfattning om vilka olika tankar och perspektiv som finns kring miljö, ekonomi och hållbar utveckling. Detta har sedan utgjort utgångspunkten för den kvalitativa analysen som har gjorts av de båda dokumenten. Analysen har bland annat visat att ett miljöekonomiskt tankesätt dominerar i de båda dokumenten.

This is a paper about the process of creating meaning in speeches held by president Bush after the terrorist attacks on September 11th 2001. People need tools to orient and understand the surrounding world. They need to create a meaningful orientation in a chaotic world. Some meaning is favoured due to the prevailing social structures. Thru language discourses are produced that helps us understand how the world is constructed.

I dag pågår ett nationellt miljömålsarbete som utgår från de 15 nationella miljökvalitetsmålen, vilket har sin grund i ett tidigare miljömålsarbete som utgick från 13 nationella miljöhot. Syftet med uppsatsen har varit att med fallet Kinda kommun undersöka svårigheter och möjligheter med att utforma lokala miljömål utifrån nationella miljömål. Detta riktar fokus mot den rumsliga skalproblematiken som kan uppstå när nationella mål skalas ner till lokala mål. Vägledande frågeställning har varit; Vilka svårigheter uppkommer när det gäller att utforma lokala miljömål utifrån de nationella? Vilka möjligheter har en liten kommun att anpassa och genomföra de nationella miljömålen på lokal nivå? Grunden för uppsatsen är en kvalitativ fallstudie, där tyngdpunkten ligger på instudering och jämförelse av befintlig relevant litteratur samt intervjuer.

This study focuses on the politics around ecological sustainable development in Sweden today, with emphasis on urban development, building and living. The starting-point for this study is the environmental adapted city district of Stockholm, Hammarby Sjöstad. The primary focus of the study is to investigate what means of control the environmental investment in Hammarby Sjöstad is expressing, and to elucidate their ideological, political and social implications. The empirical material is primarily based up on the local Hammarby Sjöstad environmental program along with qualitative in-depth interviews with citizens of this district. The study is based on critical discourse analysis The result of this study is that the ecological investment in Hammarby Sjöstad partly constitutes a hidden exercise of power, taking shape as built-in physical measures in the dwellings and the neighbouring surroundings.

Abstract Integrated mental training is a method that entails a systematic and long-term training of mental processes (thoughts, images, emotions) that aims to enhance performance as well as gratify feelings and improve thought processes. This training develops an alternative system of control by using substitute state of consciousness and self-hypnosis. The method is concerned with both mindfulness and performance approaches, which is crucial in order to feel and function better. The intent of this study is to highlight the experience of the different steps of integrated mental training to gain an understanding of how, where, and when changes occur. To achieve the objective of this study, a qualitative empirical method was used.
