AbstractTitle: A union, a collaboration and a currency crisis- a quantitative study of the media coverage of the euro crisis within the European Union in Spanish and Swedish newspapers.The purpose of this study was to see whether Sweden and Spain ?s differences in media climates and relations to the euro crisis would affect how the story was portrayed from a narrative perspective. Did the coverage differ between the two countries and who got to comment on the situation in the media were two of the questions I strived to answer. I also wanted to see how the coverage reflected on the situation that the euro crisis has created.In this study I used a number of theories that I based my research on. The main theories I focused on was about different media systems and Sweden and Spain ?s relation to the euro crisis.

This is my thesis on the D-level at the university in Karlstad at the department for environmental science. It is an analysis of the idea of self-realisation in the deepecology movement.The Norwegian philosopher Arne Naess is one of the profiles in the foreground of deepecology in the world. His teories is important for the development of how to look at ecophilosophical matters in the nordic countries.i will therefor investigate his theories and see how Naess constructs the relation man-nature in his ecosophy T. The principle of self-realisation and identification is there the most important foundation for the antropocentric perspective.In my analysis I use Martin Bubers philosophy of dialogue and his thoughts about relational concept of the self as tools for my investigation.Ecophilosophy is an academic subject that touches a variety of fields of studies but has the collaboration between the subject of culture and nature as its base. Bubers concept of the self that highlights the third.

SyfteSyftet med denna studie är att jämföra fysiskt aktiva kvinnliga pensionärer med manliga pensionärers upp­fattningar om ämnet idrott och hälsa från deras egen skolgång och kartlägga vilka faktorer som har bidragit till deras fysiska aktivitet idag. Studien är del av ett pilotpro­jekt om äldres hälsa vid Örebro universitet. Frågeställningar är:Hur påverkar idrottsundervisning och deltagande i fysisk aktivitet vid ung ålder graden av fy­siskt akti­vitet vid högre ålder (65 år och uppåt)?Vilka ytterligare faktorer kan påverka människan så att man som äldre är fysiskt ak­tiv?MetodMetoden i denna studie var fokusgrupper och fokusgruppssamtalen genom­fördes i ett konfe­rensrum på Örebro universitet. I studien har två fokusgrupper ingått, en grupp kvinnliga se­niora orienterare och en grupp manliga seniora oriente­rare.

Syfte: I en kommun i mellersta Sverige sattes en inkluderingsprocess igång av Barn- och ut-bildningsnämnden genom att de fattade beslut om att öka inkluderingstanken i kommunens grundskolor och att avveckla en av kommunens tre särskilda undervisningsgrupper. Syftet med den här studien är att ta reda på om kommunen är på väg mot inkludering genom att ta del av ansvariga ledares resonemang, protokoll från Barn- och utbildningsnämnden samt en rapport som behandlar kommunens elevstöd.Teori: I bakgrunden beskrivs framväxten av den specialpedagogiska verksamheten i Sverige samt ett urval av internationella och nationella styrdokument. Teoretiska utgångspunkter som lyfts fram är sociokulturellt perspektiv på lärande, normkritiskt perspektiv, självkänslans be-tydelse för lärandet och specialpedagogiska perspektiv. Ett resonemang kring begreppet in-kludering förs också. Några exempel från forskning som kan kopplas samman med inkludering redogörs även för.Metod: Studien bygger på en fallstudie, vilken har en kvalitativ ansats.

Dementia may cause difficulties in communicating. People suffering from dementia are therefore often described as being unable to take part in meaningful conversation. The responsibility to create understanding in a conversation is shared by all participants. By means of different strategies, participants in conversation can construct understanding through collaboration. How these strategies are utilized in conversation where one or more of the participants suffer from dementia is relatively unknown.

As a student during my studies, I have been told about entrepreneurs who have red numbers in their financial statements, and there is a forest machine operator shortage in Sweden. The basic idea of this thesis was to examine the underlying factors that may have caused the problems described above. The aim of this thesis was to investigate the factors that create stress and job satisfaction as a forest machine operator. The study was performed as a comparison between forest companies own harvesting teams and entrepreneur teams to investigate if there are any differences in stress and job satisfaction between the two different types of team. The study was conducted in collaboration with SCA Skog. The material for this study was collected by doing interviews with SCA's harvesting teams. A total of 27 forest machine operators were interviewed, divided into a total of 10 separate harvesting teams. It was very similar between the different type of teams, which situations the operators experienced stress.

Studien syftar till att undersöka former och innehåll i samverkan över förvaltningsnivå, utbildningsförvaltning och socialförvaltning i Västra Götaland, samt hur den uppfattas. Studien avgränsas till samverkan inom två kommuner och baseras på intervjuer med representanter från de båda förvaltningarna. Det är för mig ett aktuellt ämne eftersom vi som blivande lärare vet att alla elever har olika behov av stöd och hjälp. Utsatta barn är i behov av vuxna och är i en beroendeställning. Skolan är en verksamhet och socialtjänsten en annan som kan komma att ingå i utsatta barns liv.

The purpose of this essay is to describe how Boverkets Byggregler has affected the cost ofnewly built houses from 2003 to 2012, to Boverkets Vision 2025. The purpose is also to findagent-principal relations in the construction sector.When investing in an energy efficient house the operating costs are reduced compared to aconventional house. But due to the lower operating costs, the investment cost rises. In thisstudy, we find out if it is economically viable to invest in an energy efficient house comparedto a conventional house from the customer's perspective.The study's approach has been qualitatively where we in collaboration with Derome Hus hadaccess to three conventional reference houses and a passive house and data that was necessaryto conduct viability assessments on houses. We conducted five interviews with people fromDeromekoncernen and Varbergs kommun.The calculation methods we have used in this study are present value method, annuity methodand a sensitivity analysis.

This master thesis aims to examine how public libraries in Sweden are practically and ideologically equipped to deal with e-books, outside of the dominant distributor Elib. The study also aims to find out what?s required of the book market and the public libraries to make further progress in the question of e-books. In Sweden e-books are still representing only a small amount of all the library loans and an even smaller amount of the commercial book market.The methodological and theoretical ground for the thesis is Grounded Theory, and the survey is based on interviews with publishers, librarians and distributors.The conclusions of this thesis are that the public libraries lack resources to invest in e-books, and that they also lack in knowledge about the media and its readers. It also exposes that both internal and external collaboration efforts need to be further developed.

The purpose of this essay is to examine for the age discrimination towards older people in the working life. The essay practice EU-law and national law to examine the age discrimination. It also looks for the limits towards age discrimination. A presentation of the rules will make it easier to see how employers are possible to get around the ban against age discrimination. Det ställs stora krav på revisorn som, förutom kunskap i revision, också ska kunna hantera områden som miljöredovisning, skatter och juridik, finansiering och budgetering. Dessutom ska han vara absolut oberoende och undvika alla typer av hot som kan påverka hans sätt att utöva sitt yrke objektivt.Syftet med revision är att ge ökad trovärdighet åt den finansiella information företagen redovisar för dess intressenter. Genom att granska en verksamhets räkenskaper och förvaltningsåtgärder samt granska att styrelse och vd har följt lag så får intressenterna större förtroende för årsredovisningen. En av förutsättningarna för en trovärdig årsredovisning efter revisorns granskning är att han har agerat oberoende när han fullgjort sitt uppdrag. Det har gjorts många studier som behandlar oberoendet på olika sätt, där flera har kommit till slutsatsen att de revisionsbyråer som klassas som stora också är de som säkrast agerar oberoende i sin profession.Dock tycker vi att det saknas studier som undersöker oberoendet från de mindre revisionsbyråernas perspektiv.

Large-scale land investments is not a new phenomenon, but increasing prices on food and agrofuels have inflated prices on land and has led to an enhanced interest in landinvestments from a range of different actors. The ProSavana project in the Nacala corridor in the Nampula province, northern Mozambique is a large-scale land investment with the purpose of establishing intensive commercial agriculture and is planned to be implemented this year (2013). The project is financed by Brazil and Japan in collaboration with the government of Mozambique. It is not quite clear how large-scale land investments affect the areas they are implemented in and how they can affect the possibilities for sustainable development in these areas. Both opportunities and problems can be observed within the social, economic and ecological dimensions of sustainable development.

This thesis of 15 hp has been implemented at Halmstad University, in collaboration with Saab Dynamics in Linköping. Saab Dynamics is a company operating in the defence industry where competition is tough. This necessitates new ways to increase efficiency in the company, which is the basis for this thesis. Saab Dynamics wants to introduce simulation driven design. Since Saab Dynamics engineers have little experience of simulation, required a user methodology with clear guidelines.
