Genom massmedierna kan hela samhällen bli influerade. Med tanke på medieteknikutvecklingen så har det varit intressant att ta reda på om medietekniken har bidragit till utvecklingen av psyops användande. Med medieperspektivet som bakgrund har uppsatsen svarat på om det första informationskriget, Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm, har följts upp med ännu mer användande av psyops.Med slutsatser så som att psyops har fått en mer framträdande roll i krigföringen och att förändringarna kan härledas till medieteknikutvecklingen kan också frågeställningen besvaras.Slutsatsen är att Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm har följts upp med ännu mer användande av psyops. Med medietekniken som bakgrund är denna en av anledningarna till att psyops utvecklats men också vice versa.För att besvara dessa frågor har en faktainhämtning gjorts på området för att sedan kunna jämföra de olika operationernas mål, medel och metoder..

Introduktion: När ett barns skrivs in på sjukhus för operation blir hela familjen påverkad. Inom barnsjukvården är föräldranärvaro och föräldrastöd mycket betydande. Tidigare forskning har påvisat att föräldrar känner oro och stress under sjukhusvistelsen och att barnen påverkas av föräldrarnas sinnesstämning. Tiden före operation, på vårdavdelning, innebär en hel del procedurer men trots detta även en del väntan. Väntan och ovissheten kring när barnets operation ska bli av, ökar möjligen känslan av ängslan.

Hjärtsjukdomar utgör en stor andel av de sjukdomar som drabbar människor. Personer med hjärtsjukdom upplever och uppskattar sin vardag som sämre jämfört med friska människor. En av de vanligaste revaskuleringsmetoderna vid hjärtsjukdom är en coronary artery by-pass grafting operation (CABG). Målen med operationen är att minska besvär och att minska mortaliteten i hjärt- kärlsjukdom hos dem som drabbats. Det ligger i sjuksköterskans profession att på bästa sätt informera och stödja patienterna i deras dagliga liv både före och efter genomgången operationen.

This is a qualitative study on bachelor level at the School of Social Work. The aim of the thesis was to describe how selected municipal commissioners and social workers in Malmö view the complex of problems, and different solutions, concerning homelessness.Malmö, the third largest city of Sweden, is struggling with serious problems concerning homelessness. Possible solutions are being debated, and the opinions differ widely, depending on ideological standpoint. We wanted to find out how selected municipal commissioners and social workers view the complex of problems, related laws and local guidelines, and measures to improve the situation. In order to have a free discussion, but within limits we used semi-structured interviews.Our results show that both the municipal commissioners and social workers regarded homelessness mainly as an individual issue, related to dissocial aspects of the individual.

I dag är det många som står på väntelista för att genomgå en planerad operation. Dessa personer syns inte på sjukhusen och har sällan kontakt med hälso- och sjukvården under väntetiden. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att beskriva personers upplevelse av väntetiden inför en operation. Studien baserades på åtta internationellt publicerade ve-tenskapliga artiklar som analyserades med en manifest kvalitativ innehållsanalys. Analysen resulterade i sex kategorier: Att ha svårt att hantera sjukdomssituationen och vara i behov av stöd: Att känna oro, osäkerhet, samt att tappa livslusten: Att känna smärta som begränsning i det dagliga livet och anpassa sig efter situationen: Att tänka positivt, känna kontroll och leva sitt normala liv: Att känna brist på information och känna sig försummad: Att bli sedd och känna att någon lyssnar.

The agriculture is today in a development that leads to bigger and bigger units in the primary production. To be able to follow this development many companies chooses to cooperate in different ways. The most radical change is when farmers fuses with other farmers and merge into to a big collectively owned operation firm. The reason behind this idea is that the firms achieve the big companies advantages by being complement to each other. The purpose of this essay is to make an economic analysis of two crop production companies who works together in an operation firm.

The focus of this essay is Swedish bilateral development aid. With the help of organization theory I analyse the development aid strategies and policies of the 1990s, in order to examine how and why they were introduced. I investigate three different types of aid organization, namely structural adjustment programmes, political conditionality tied to aid co-operation, and equality policy as part of development co-operation. I analyze the introduction and subsequent use of these three co-operation forms to see whether they were applied and adopted into Swedish development aid because more efficient measures were required or because they were the most recent and modern ways of dealing with development co-operation.Organization theory presents these two ways of analyzing organization. They are occasionally competing and sometimes complementing each other in explaining organization.

Environmental management officers ? leadership and employeeship in local environmental health authorityThe purpose of this study was to illustrate the working situation of municipal environmental health management officers. This is a qualitative study where I have interviewed ten environmental officers in ten municipalities in Sweden. The interviews were based on a half structured interview guide with questions. I have interpreted the interviews through different leadership theories.

The main question of this study is about how reorganizations influence on the mental social working environment for chiefs in municipal care. We want to find out how chiefs experience their mental social working environment in a reorganization. The method we used was a qualitative method. We interviewed eight chiefs in municipal care. The interview was done in two different municipalities, where we interviewed four in each municipality.

In 2003 the libraries of ten municipalities in the northern part of Sweden were each given 10 000 (SEK) by the BIN-project to purchase books on demand instead of making inter-library loans. This attempt was called Köpa på efterfrågan (Purchasing on demand). The purpose of this master thesis is to evalutate Köpa på efterfrågan. The results of the evaluation show that the books purchased on demand were quite popular. Almost all the purchased books were non-fictional with most books being bought within the field of medicin.

1979 till 1989 pågick en sovjetisk militär insats i Afghanistan vars syfte var att bedriva upprorsbekämpning för att stödja den afghanska marionettregeringen. Efter 9/11 2001 blev Afghanistan återigen ett insatsområde för en amerikanskledd koalition vars syfte var att störta talibanerna och sätta en ny regering till makten. Som en följd av detta genomfördes flera markoperationer för att rensa upp de sista talibanska fästena. En av dessa operationer var Operation Anaconda. Men fanns och finns det fortfarande erfarenheter som från Sovjets insatser som kunde haft en effekt på denna operation samt liknande operationer? Syftet med denna uppsats är att utgå från de sovjetiska operationer Afghanistan 1979-1989 och påvisa framgångsfaktorer som kan användas på markoperationer inom ramen för upprorsbekämpning.

With some help of a few interviews, with children, and some staff members, in two different schools, I hope to answer the question: if the picture of the operation, that the children and the staff are having, has some similarities, and I will try to compare these pictures with what some legal documents such as Lgr 11 and Kvalitet I Fritidshem is saying about daycare opera-tions? To be able to run a successful daycare center, is never an easy thing. The key to success is to make parties, like the staff, children and their parents to feel happiness, when it comes to things around and about the daycare center. The result shows that both the children and the staff are expressing a frustration around the daycare operation, because they feel that there being wrongly answered, by a higher authority. The children are frustrated of how the staff is answering them about different things and the staff is frustrated about how the headmasters are answering them.

The Russian operation on the Crimean peninsula has been referred to as a victory enabled by the operationalization of the concept of New Generation Warfare. According to some military theorists, this concept and its operationalization cannot be characterized in terms of the traditional wars waged up to this point. This thesis seeks to investigate the relationship between municipal policy for housing supply and the planning of new housing in Sweden. Through a case study of Göteborg municipality and a comparative content analysis of Göteborgs policy for housing supply and a number of plans featuring housing the analysis seeks to investigate the effect of policy for housing supply as a tool for securing the demand for housing in the Swedish municipalities. The thesis also seeks to discuss its findings using theory concerning the implementation of policy and the general planning situation for Swedish municipalities today. The result of the analysis shows that most plans fail to regulate most of the content suggested in the policy for housing supply, particularly regarding aspects such as pricing, type of housing and type of ownership. The result also points towards a relationship regarding the prevalence of municipal land contracts and compatibility to policy for housing supply as well as a connection between how extensive the plans are in their proposed land use and their compatibility with policy for housing supply. Using theories of policy implementation and the municipal planning situation, possible explanations for the findings of the analysis could be a split in responsibility between the formulating and implementation of the policy for housing supply and its contents, a lack of resources of means for implementing or the prevalence of special interests when attempting to convert policy to plans..
