More and more preschools are choosing to reduce the sugar consumption. The reason is, inter alia, the increase of weight in the community, but there is also research showing that sugar is harmful to children. The discussions on sugar and children are also a hot media topic.I have chosen to use a qualitative method, interviews, to gather material for the essay. I have interviewed a teacher and a cook in three different preschools, in different municipalities. I have also looked at their various nutrition policies to see how the guidelines for their work on diet and health look like.

Jag har genom en förberedande fältstudie, litteraturgenomgång och enkätintervjuer undersökt svenska och kinesiska företagsrepresentanters upplevelser av det interkulturella mötet, med utgångspunkt i svenska företag som opererar på den kinesiska marknaden. Det var uppsatsens syfte och jag har utgått ifrån frågeställningen: Hur upplever svenska och kinesiska företagsrepresentanter det interkulturella mötet? Subfrågor till denna är:Vilka kulturella faktorer skapar det kinesiska sättet att kommunicera?Hur upplever svenska företagsrepresentanter det interkulturella mötet med den kinesiska marknaden?Hur upplever kinesiska företagsrepresentanter det interkulturella mötet med svenska företagsrepresentanter?Vilka av studien framkomna faktorer skulle kunna underlätta det interkulturella mötet för svenskars fortsatta affärer i Kina?Det är gjort genom att identifiera skillnader mellan den svenska och kinesiska kulturen för att förklara de bakomliggande faktorerna till att vi uppfattar varandra som vi gör, och genom det belysa ett urval möjligheter och fallgropar som den kinesiska kulturen kan medföra för svenska företag som opererar på den kinesiska marknaden. Det teoretiska ramverket utgörs av teorier inom publika relationer samt interkulturell kommunikation. Litteraturgenomgången fokuserar på faktorer såsom mianzi, lian, guanxi samt filosofiska influenser som har inverkan på kommunikationsmönstret.

Jag vill genom denna undersökning om återanpassning ta reda på hur situationen ser ut för personer som har kommit i kontakt med en ideell hjälporganisation med avsikt att lämna sina gamla liv bakom sig och påbörja en laglydig livsstil. Syftet med denna studie är således att ta reda på vilka faktorer som kan tänkas vara av betydelse för individer som ska återanpassas till samhället efter tidigare fängelsevistelser. Till min hjälp har jag haft kontakt med medlemmar ur två av KRIS (Kri-minellas Revansch i Samhället) lokalföreningar. Min frågeställning lyder: Vilken betydelse för de före detta kriminella har KRIS i återanpassningen till samhället?Den valda metoden för denna undersökning är kvalitativa intervjuer med fem medlemmar ur KRIS.

Det här examensarbetet inriktar sig på att försöka förstå hur samhällsplanering är tänkt att fungera och varför det fungerar som det gör. Avsikten är att olika aktörer verksamma inom samhällsplanering skall få en djupare förståelse för det system de agerar i. Examensarbetet fokuserar särskilt på begreppen system och systemperspektiv.Examensarbetes syfte är att undersöka förutsättningarna för att använda ett bredare system-perspektiv inom samhällsplanering. Konkret innebär ett brett systemperspektiv att kunna identifiera vad ett system består av och att förstå hur systemet fungerar. En sådan förståelse skulle ge bättre förutsättningar att förutse effekter av olika beslut samt att kunna förstå orsaken till varför saker blir som de blir.Genom en intervjustudie och en litteraturstudie har vi försökt analysera och förstå systemet samhällsplanering.

An increased demand for processed goods on the property market has contributed toinvestments within the Swedish sawmill industry. The purpose with this study is to make amarket investigation of pre cut lengths within a defined geographic area. The constituent forthis investigation is HAL (AB Hilmer Andersson) who invests in a new plane facility and twofinger jointing machines in affiliation to their sawmill in Lässerud, the vest part of Värmland.To investigate the demand of pre cut lengths and identifies the value creating factors and costfactors which the customer within the segments industry and property market perceive, havedifferent customer value theories been used. Theories of customer value and the theory aboutoffering has been the source of creating the qualitative interview with a selection of currentand new potential customers for HAL.The result of the study first gives an introduction of HAL?s new offering and a description ofHAL?s current customers, which gives the reader an understanding of why searching for newcustomers is made in the defined area.

Kostnader har under många år varit en viktig faktor inom försvarsindustrin och vid ana- lys av militära system. I syfte att minska sina kostnader och öka effektiviteten har många nationer infört olika analyser, verktyg och begrepp för utvärdering av sina utgif- ter gällande försvarsmaterial, där en av dessa är livscykelkostnadsanalys. Livscykel- kostnadsanalysen används för att identifiera de mest betydande kostnadsdrivarna och därmed möjliggöra den bästa kombinationen av resursanvändning. Livscykelkostnads- baserade uppskattningar skapar också ett långsiktigt perspektiv och på så sätt underlät- tar detta en mer genomarbetad bedömning av investeringar.Denna studie har genomförts vid Saab Dynamics i Karlskoga som tillverkar missilsy- stem och understödssystem till försvarsindustrin. I Saab Dynamics fall finns det i dags- läget inte ett standardiserat arbetssätt för användning av livscykelkostnadsanalyser.

This master thesis investigates the possibilities of using GPS-information from trains to create a model of a railway system, register the routes of the the trains and predict how the trains will travel in the railway system.The thesis work was done at Icomera AB which is a company that specializes in internet connected vehicle solutions.We describe how the GPS-information is sent from the trains in the form of samples and investigate limitations and possibilities with the available information. About three million samples from 83 SJ-trains were analysed and the samples were filtered with the intent of removing erroneous information. We here found that about 30 % of the samples from the trains were unreliable.A solution for how the samples from the trains can be used to create a model of the railway system traveled by the trains is presented. We use a large set of historical samples and use cluster nodes and Hermite curves to generate a graph that represent the railway system with stations, nodes and the railway itself. A fully automatic solution is not presented since it did not fit into the time frame of the thesis; instead we created a simple tool which can be used to manually finish the model of the railway system.Furthermore, we describe how the railway system and the samples from the train can be used to register the routes the trains travel.

Syfte: Syftet med studien var att undersöka matematiklärares uppfattningar om vilka styrkor och svårigheter elever inom autismspektrumtillstånd (AST) uppvisar beträffande problemlös-ning i matematik i åk 6-9 och hur lärarna anser att undervisning kan bedrivas för att eleverna ska nå målen inom området i åk 9.Teori: Studien utgår från ett sociokulturellt perspektiv, där kommunikativa processer är cen-trala i mänskligt lärande och utveckling (Säljö, 2000). I det sociokulturella perspektivet är lärande en aspekt av all mänsklig verksamhet; i varje samtal, handling eller händelse finns en möjlighet att erhålla någonting som man kan använda sig av i framtiden. Lärande blir i den meningen således vad individ och kollektiv tar med sig från sociala situationer, genom inter-aktion mellan människor och vad man brukar i framtiden. Initialt verkar kunskap i samspel människor emellan och blir därefter en del av den enskilde individen och hans eller hennes tänkande alternativt handling (ibid.).Metod: Studien utgår från en kvalitativ forskningsansats, där halvstrukturerade intervjuer har använts som datainsamlingsmetod. Intentionen med den metod som valts är att kunna beskri-va lärares egna uppfattningar om förutsättningar för lärande beträffande problemlösning i ma-tematik för elever med diagnos inom AST.

A couple of hundred years ago half of the earth?s surface was covered by forest. Today, only half remains and every year an area the size of Nepal is disappearing. Deforestation, together with the burning of fossil fuels, is also one of the reasons for the increasing greenhouse effect. Another relatively unknown problem for the world?s forests is the trade with illegally harvested timber.

This work is a GIS study of fishing rights distribution between different categories of ownersand properties in the Stockholm Archipelago. The purpose was to create basic data used toestablish fishing laws and restrictions within the Stockholm County.Stockholm?s archipelago consists of a unique environment and is the natural life andreproduction environment for ? of Sweden?s reproducing fish species. The increasingpressure from fishing, tourism and weekend population increases the need for an efficientfishing administration to prevent impoverishment and to ensure the biological diversity inSwedish fishing waters. There is an increasing need to review fishing administrationmethodologies, as well as studying the categories of ownership and properties located insensitive areas and areas influenced by physical disturbances in order to establish effectivelaws and restrictions.The Swedish fishing rights for an area are currently not connected to the ownership of theproperty to which it belongs.
