Fra?mst ga?llde detta centrala begrepp, vilka var viktiga fo?r att analysera resultaten.

Starting point to this Paper is the idea and wish to adapt the society and its different activities to a recycle society. A building area in Göteborg is planned and investigated for such adaptation. In the district named Skogaberg, about 130 households totally are planned from what 20 are blocks of flats. The idea with this project is to constitute an alternative sewage system, a Blackwater system, were the fractions of most nutrients and least pollution are separated, taken care of and utilised. The aim is to get a market and use the nutrients of the organic waste from the household in agriculture use.

Hypercholesterolemia is one of the risk factors for cardiovascular disease. In Asia, hypercholesterolemia is less common than in the Western countries. In Asian countries, soy products are consumed in larger quantities than in the Western world, which has led to implemented research with the Intention of examining soy's potential effect on cholesterol levels.Objective: To investigate whether there is scientific evidence that isoflavone supplementation from soy bean may have a lowering effect on LDL-cholesterol.Search strategy: The databases used for the systematic literature search were PubMed, Scopus and Cochrane. Keywords used were cholesterol and 9 versions of this, and isoflavones and 11 versions of that.Selection criteria: RCT articles, on humans, written in English, published from 2011 onwards, that focused on interventions with isoflavones from soybeans and its effect on blood cholesterol, the participants were over 18 years old and the study time was at least 24 weeks.

Bakgrunden till denna studie är den aktuella brist på jourfamiljer som finns runt om i landets kommuner. Syftet med studien är att öka kännedomen om hur jourföräldrar upplever sitt uppdrag samt varför de valt att vara jourfamilj. De tidigare studier som gjorts visar på att det finns en avsaknad av jourfamiljer, och att det där av finns ett behov av att identifiera fler familjer villiga att ta uppdrag som jourfamilj. Det aktuella kunskapsläget som tidigare forskning visar på ger en bild av att jourfamiljer är ett relativt outforskat område och att jourfamiljernas upplevelser av uppdraget är än mer outforskat. Denna studie har undersökt hur sju jourfamiljsföräldrar från fem olika jourfamiljer beskriver och upplever sitt uppdrag.

All since Thomas Kuhn?s strongly influential The Structure of Scientific Revolutions the Philosophy of Science and ?even more so ?the Social Sciences have contained a greater amount of theories that could be described as more or less relativistic, meaning that the standards of justification or truth thereafter more often were said to be relative to language, culture, or biological makeup. One of the more elaborate ways of developing Thomas Kuhn?s theories in a more relativistic direction ismade by the philosopher Richard Rorty. Rorty, mainly a supporter of Thomas Kuhn, is also a philosopher who has been seen as a main exponent of a so called Postmodern philosophy.My Intention in this thesis is to evaluate whether Kuhn's and Rorty's theories of science and knowledge could be regarded as relativism, in respects of their view of incommensurability, rational argumentation, and of their position vis-á-vis the more conventional picture of scientific knowledge and truth.

SammanfattningKonsten att skriva uppgiftsinstruktioner som alla, eller åtminstone de flesta, elever förstår drömmer många lärare om att behärska. Särskilt lärare som undervisar på distans med få eller inga möjligheter att följa upp elevens läsning med ett snabbt påföljande samtal om innehållet i den text eleven just läst. För hur går det till när elever läser och förstår uppgiftsinstruktioner? Påverkar dessutom elevens uppfattning om hur tydlig uppgiftsinstruktionen är, hur rolig, lätt eller intressant uppgiften verkar vara att genomföra; hur viktigt är det att en instruktion är   tydlig för hur uppgiften förstås eller uppfattas?Genom en empirisk, induktiv studie som följs upp av litteraturstudier för att förklara och tolka resultatet studeras här   tio gymnasieelevers läsning och förståelse av fyra uppgiftsinstruktioner från   kursen Svenska B. Tydlighet står i fokus.

The present memorandum outlines the structure, theoretical starting points and disposition of a thesis about the activities of Finnish immigrants in a Swedish local community, more specifically their political integration. The Intention is to study the municipality of Katrineholm in the years 1944 to 1991.Previous research about the actorship of immigrants in spheres such as politics, labour unions, immigrant associations, educational associations and mass-education, as well as churches and religion, is presented to give an overview of possible areas connected to political integration that can be studied. The overview of previous research also covers local immigrant politics.The intended theoretical starting points for the proposed thesis are political economy and hegemony. The latter is intended to be investigated through its expression in the social relations class, gender, ethnicity, nationality and generation. It is suggested in this memorandum that hegemonies and social relations within a local political economy can be operationalised fruitfully in a study of political integration.

Functional Foods have been predicted a bright future on the food market but so far the concept have not been embraced by the consumers. The reasons for this are many and not clearly understood. Positive health effects are what set a functional food product apart from traditional food stuffs of the same type.

This paper aims to study the Armenakis´ theory of readiness, "are they ready?", which consists of five key components affecting the outcome of an organizational change. In this case study, the Intention is to investigate if any component is important; alternatively if it is possible to discern a pattern between components, i.e. how they correspond to each other. During the past 30 years have a research group lead by Armenakis has studied organizational change and how resistance to change can be avoided by preparing employees in the introductory phase of change. The main object for Armenakis is the question "what determines whether the employees (change recipients) adopt and support, or reject and resist a change".

I ett rum vid simulatorcentralen på Saab i Linköping står flygsimulatorn PMSIM. Den består av en förarkabin placerad i en sfärisk dom, på vilken en simulering av den visuella omvärlden projiceras. PMSIM används för utveckling, träning och marknadsföring av Gripen. Fallstudien syftar till att uppnå ett begreppsligt klargörande av det starkt dynamiska arbetet med att förändra flygsimulatorn. Två perspektiv på systemutvecklingsstrategier; evolutionär och traditionell systemutveckling appliceras på förändringsverksamheten.

The purpose of this report is to make an evaluation of the self-monitoring for scarification which Stora Enso is using and this study deals with the effects and importance of scarification. A comparison is made in this study with the purpose to highlight any differences between some of the leading forestry companies and significant forest organizations in Sweden. The companies represented in this report are Korsnäs, Mellanskog, SCA, Sveaskog and Södra. In the beginning of this study an interview form was set up together with Daniel Forsberg at Stora Enso. Stora Enso is the head object of this report and seven interviews were made within that company. At the other companies only three interviews were made within each one, with an exception to Mellanskog who wished four.

Syftet med uppsatsen var att undersöka hur sexualitet och maskulina genuspositioner möjliggörs och begränsas inom ramarna för en heteronormativ ordning. I den kvalitativa studien undersökte vi vilka verkningar den heterosexuella matrisen, heteronormativitet, homosocialitet, den hegemoniska maskulinitetsmodellen, normer och avvikelser har på unga mäns görande av genus och sexualitet. Våra frågeställningar var; Hur framställer informanterna maskulina och feminina genuspositioner? Hur tänker informanterna kring sexualitet? Och vilken roll spelar homosocialitet i skapandet av genus? För att ta reda på detta använde vi oss av en modifierad form av fokusgrupper, som vi kallade för gruppdiskussioner. I samtalen berörde vi givna teman som var kopplade till syftet och frågeställningarna.

Uppsatsens övergripande syfte var att undersöka eventuella skillnader och likheter mellan elever i årskurs 4 resp. årskurs 6 med avseende på läsförståelsen. För att mäta läsförståelsen användes ett välbeprövat läsförståelsetest. Syftet var också att beskriva hur lärare, med ansvar för läs- och skrivutvecklingen i respektive klass, arbetar med läsning och för att stimulera läsförståelsen hos sina elever. För att ta reda på hur lärarna arbetar besvarades en enkät.

Traditionally the content of fiction has not been described, analyzed, classified and/or indexed to the same extent as non-fiction. As a consequence, this lack of content analysis has resulted in unsatisfactory fiction retrieval in relation to users seeking and search behaviour. This fact is why this Master s thesis is written. The total of library users' seeking and search behaviour is investigated in order to suggest methods to improve user adapted fiction retrieval tools. Suggesting relevant fiction retrieval tools corresponding to users' seeking/search behaviour is another aim of the study.
