In view of the difficulty of recruiting staff to care profession and in terms of the increasing need to find ways of ensuring a good language level in the profession, have an interest in language tests been revealed. The purpose of this paper is therefore to highlight the use of language tests for admission to the care courses for adults in Värmland. What provided This is a survey of the prevalence and an examination of the validity of the test. The issue that this study assumed is: How is language test in connection with admission to the certified health and social care courses for adults in Värmland? How well correlates intent of the use of the language test with the test's validity and reliability?The methods used to seek answers to these questions has been a combination of questionnaires and experiments.

Syftet med det här arbetet har varit att undersöka hur lärare ser på smartboard och lärande. Då smartboard är ett tekniskt redskap som finns i många klassrum anser vi att det är relevant för vår yrkesroll att känna till dess pedagogiska fördelar och nackdelar. Vår Intention har varit att undersöka i vilken grad lärare är medvetna om och reflekterar över de pedagogiska konsekvenserna av att använda sig av ett tekniskt redskap i undervisningen. Vi har använt oss av läroplanen, relevant forskning som gjorts om smartboardanvändande i undervisning och några relevanta lärteorier till hjälp för att förstå hur ett tekniskt redskap som smartboard skulle kunna leda till pedagogiska konsekvenser samt vilka dessa i så fall skulle kunna vara. Vi har använt oss av kvalitativa intervjuer som metod och vi har intervjuat fyra lärare som arbetar i grundskolans tidigare år.

The aim of this study is to examine metaphors and what may be perceived as motif-circuits in Stig Dagerman?s play Den dödsdömde (The Man Condemned to Death) and the two short stories ?Den dödsdömde? (The Man Condemned to Death) and ?Mannen från Milesia? (The Man from Milesia). My Intention is to discuss a single theme and identity-marks that unites all three works, using Paul Ricoeur?s The Rule of Metaphor (La mêtaphore vive) as well as the ?thematic critique? of Jean-Pierre Richard.What is metaphor for Ricoeur is for Richard themes (theme): an organizing principle, a sort of schedule around which a world is constituted. Hence, I find similarities between the motif-circuits, Ricoeur?s metaphor-theory and Richards?s themes.

The purpose of this essay has been to examine whether attitudes and behavior among Swedish people who takes snuff are dissonant or not and how their attitudes are affected by the media debate about the health risks snuff can cause. Furthermore, we were interested in finding out how different reference groups´ attitudes would influence the attitudes and the willingness of people to stop taking snuff and investigate how much control the people who take snuff think they have. To answer these questions we chose to ask primarily students at Stockholm University and Södertörns Högskola. The students were asked to fill out a questionnaire with 22 questions and the 100 responses we collected were worked up in a statistic program, SPSS, on the computer. The main models used for the essay and for the questionnaire were the Theory of Planned behavior and the Dissonance theory.

1998 beslutade Nässjö kommun att ett minnesmonument skulle uppföras lagom till millenieskiftet. En av de drivande personerna till idén var Jan Holmquist som vid tidpunkten var Kultur- och fritidschef för kommunen. Monumentet skulle göras av "den bäste" varpå Carl Fredrik Reuterswärd fick förfrågan.Skulpturen gestaltar Nässjö stad med hjälp av ett minne, historien om stadens uppbyggnad med järnvägen som en central del. Tåg som rörde sig framåt med hjälp av hårt arbete och kol inspirerade konstnären. Skisserna till verket spelar stor roll för att kunna förstå konstnärens Intention med Kolskyffeln.

AbstractIn this essay, I have chosen to examine how four teachers in a work unit think and work with linguistic development and strategies, particularly in grade 4-6. The teaching profession has gradually become more like a cooperative profession. Therefore it is in a general pedagogic interest, to know, how each one of the teachers in the work unit, are thinking about linguistic development, teaching profiles and the significances of a work unit to achieve their aims to provide for all the individuals in their classrooms. My Intention was to find out if a homogeneous work unit or a heterogeneous work unit is to prefer in work with linguistic development, which initially made me focus and realise the importance of each one of my informants? answers.

The Intention of this study is to investigate possible excitation on dogs due to buprenorphine treatment. The reason for it to be about buprenorphine and not any other opioid is due to its relevance being one of the most popular opioids in animal care, as well as the authors own experience with what seems to be buprenorphine induced excitation in her own dog. The study consists of a literature review and an internet based survey containing thirty questions sent out to twelve animal clinics and animal hospitals. Significant agitative effects on behavior has been found in studies on horses, sheep, goats, rats and mice, but no one shows the effects of buprenorphine on dogs. The literature on opiod effects on dog behavior seems sparse.

It is common knowledge that our horses do occasionally hurt themselves and cause damage to their bodies. They also manage to do it in the most remarkable ways. The problem is not that they hurt themselves, because everybody does so from time to time. The problem is that they often experience difficulties with the healing of the wounds. The cause to that problem is the fact that they often lose a vast amount of tissue, the wound is more often than not extensively contaminated and the wound is often found a long time after the accident occurred.

Denna uppsats handlar om valfrihet och rättighet i de äldres boendesituation. Vi har drivit en tes genom uppsatsarbetet, att det finns en diskrepans mellan olika delar och moment i boendefrågan. För att undersöka detta, har vi gjort en enkätundersökning angående äldres uppfattning om utbudet inom äldreomsorgen vad gäller boende. Vi har tittat på lagtexter och riktlinjer, historik och kulturella uppfattningar om rättigheter, samt annan forskning på området.Teorier vi tillämpat för att bättre förstå vilka mekanismer som här kan vara verksamma, är Gerotranscendens, KASAM och Empowerment. Vi har också funderat över begreppet Makt och vad det betyder i det här sammanhanget.Vi tycker oss märka att valsituationen i den biståndsbedömda boendesituationen för dagens äldre inte är särskilt stor.

Malmö högskola Studien inriktas kring barn som är i behov av särskilt stöd vid lek och den ses ur ett pedagog-perspektiv. Studiens Intention är att ta reda på hur pedagoger upptäcker barn som har svårig-heter med lek och hur pedagoger stärker dessa barn.

Jönköping Small Animal Hospital is today the only clinic in Sweden to offer radiation therapy as a treatment of tumours. The body contains of billions of cells that all have to obey the regulations that are established. If a cell is exposed to a harmful substance, for example a chemical, it can be transformed into a tumourcell. Normally the body has a good defence but the tumourcell can survive and start to divide unrestrained. A tumour is starting to develop.

The current curriculum requires a well functioning school library and an active use of it. In junior school grades 1-3 the children primarily learn basic skills. Knowledge about libraries and how to use them and different media is part of these skills. Therefore my Intention was to investigate how school libraries in junior schools look, how they are used in the training and how they could be used in junior school education. I focus on the pedagogic role of the school library and the library as information center.I begin by going through what the school law and the curriculum say - or do not say - about the use of the school library.

The purpose of this study was to examine the political party ?Feministiskt initiativ? (Fi) and their communication during the election campaign 2006. We wanted to find out what the Intention was and how the communication was received by the public. We also looked for signs of congruence between those two sides.Fi is the first political party with a feministic ideology to candidate for the parliament in Sweden. The party is rather new and their political standpoints and internal affairs have often been subject of for debate in the media.We wanted to investigate people?s individual opinions of the matter, and therefore we chose to personally interview a number of people.

The purpose of this study was to understand what the care recipients considering as care quality in their long-term eldercare. Our Intention has been to contribute a bit to the development of the care work. Previous studies show that user surveys are carried out regularly but there is very few studies that are based on care recipients own opinions and experiences. The main questions in the study have been to examine what is considered as good elder care from a user perspective. Even to understand the characteristics of a good meeting with the care staff and also examine how the elder care in Nybro municipality can improve.

Landskapsarkitekten kan bli en ännu viktigare aktör när det gäller att kontrollera materialflöden i samband med olika projekt. Material utvinns, bearbetas, distribueras, används och förbrukas i en allt större omfattning och hastighet vilket har lett till störningar på såväl lokal som global nivå. I denna studie har landskapsarkitektens roll och verksamhet med avseende på hållbarhet undersökts utifrån återanvändning och återvinning av byggmaterial. Studien är ett försök att problematisera begreppen återanvändning och återvinning av byggmaterial när de aktualiseras inom landskapsarkitekturens verksamhetsfält. I examensarbetet presenteras åtta fallstudier vilka bygger på intervjuer som gjorts med praktiserande landskapsarkitekter och andra aktörer inom anläggningsbranschen. Studien har i första hand varit inriktad mot projekt där det funnits en uttalad Intention att återanvända och återvinna byggmaterial.
