Statistics shows that drunk driving and relapse increases in the Swedish society and it?s a problem that can be considered worth examining because of all the negative consequences that it conveys. To reduce the number of relapse it?s urgent that individuals that have been drunk and driving begins treatment and precedes it. The purpose of this study was to, from a client and therapeutic perspective, examine why drunk drivers begin treatment for their alcohol abuse and furthermore to investigate what?s important for the individual so that he completes the treatment.

Normal children acquire the necessary social habits without being consciously aware of this, they learn instinctively. (Author?s translation from Swedish to English) (Asperger & Frith, 1998, s. 21) This essay is about people who do not learn to socialize, the social habits, instinctively but through conscious learning. We have interviewed three adults with the diagnosis of Asperger syndrome with the aim to let them tell us about what it means to have a neuropsychiatric disability.

Even though the American author H.P. Lovecraft (1890-1937) has been praised as one of the most influential writers of horror literature in the 20th century, his style of writing has occasionally been criticized. Lovecraft was using a writing style based on strict scientific language, where the human condition and existence are irrelevant in the narrative. This includes less focus on character development and more on the importance of atmosphere and environments. I am presenting narratological analyzes of what is often considered to be three of Lovecraft?s ?greatest works?: ?The Call of Cthulhu?, At the Mountains of Madness, and ?The Shadow over Innsmouth.? These analyzes are used to highlight Lovecraft?s science-oriented language and narratological techniques, with the focus of studying what methods Lovecraft was using to give his works and his readers a sense of dread, hopelessness, and an alien atmosphere.

The subsidiary company of Swedish Match AB called Intermatch Sweden AB has submitted a claim to RegR for them to change the notification of SRN, regarding the company?s settlement of foreign tax. To make the matter clear Intermatch Sweden AB has pointed out that they consider deductions for depreciations not to have an effect on the foreign income when the amount to settle is calculated. The Intention with this study is to analyse the legal situation regarding how the level of the settlement is affected by the consolidated costs. Such as additional depreciations regulated in the law ?Settlements of foreign tax?.

This thesis is a discourse theory analysis of two feminist anthologies - Det heter feminism! and F- ordet.  By analyzing these texts through the three categories feminism & feminists, gender equality & equality and sex/gender & sexuality I have raised questions about the feminist debate in Sweden in the 21st century.The discourse theory?s ideas of descriptions of reality and fixation of meaning lies as a foundation for this thesis. The concepts of social constructionism, post structuralism and essentialism/anti essentialism are central for the analysis as well as concepts connected to the three previously mentioned categories.The Intention of this thesis is to describe and analyze a fraction of the Swedish feminist debate in the 21st century and discuss its meaning in a societal context. A number of conclusions were reached in the final discussion.

The Swedish immigration policy is a subject constantly under scrutiny, especially in the media. The Dublin treaty, which came into effect in 2003, has meant stricter regulations for the handling of asylum seekers, which in turn increases the requirements of the officials at the Swedish Migration Board. Consequently, the staff at the Swedish Migration Board is daily facing difficulties when deciding who is to stay or not. Therefore, it is interesting to investigate how these criteria in the Dublin Treaty, are used in the daily work of the officials. Emphasizing these problematic aspects of the Dublin Treaty, this study aims to answer the following two questions:- How has the Dublin Treaty been implemented in Swedish legislation by the officials at the Swedish Migration Board?- How do these officials work to implement this treaty?This case study is based on interviews with a number of officials working at the Swedish Migration Board.

This thesis is performed as a case study in Västerbotten Museum's textile storage space. The Intention with this study is to investigate the relationships between the museum?s tasks: to collect, preserve and make the collections accessible. The aim is to reveal the problems that exist in museums today with increasing collections, less resources for the preservation of the collections and increasing requirements on accessibility. The aim is to deduce the problem by finding out how the different tasks relate to one another today.

To reach an Ecological Sustainable Development, Sweden has established environmental quality objectives. Green spaces are attractive for exploitation and in Sweden the access to large jointly green spaces has decreased, which has impact on humans recreation and the biodiversity. The economic aspect has great impact on the planning process which gives indications that the environmental objective may collide with other sector goals within the municipality. The thesis overall aim is to see how the management by objectives for the green spaces implements and how the green spaces is handled in the planning process in a specific case. The thesis builds on a content analysis, strategic interviews and a case study.

Purpose: The essay was designed to examine what impact an increased media concentration in the provincial press may have on the society in the future. I also had the Intention to create a greater understanding of the concept of media concentration and how the media groups relate to the public interest. Method: The work with this study was conducted by using methods from the qualitative methodological arsenal through interviews with, for the study, relevant informants, but also through a case report on the Stampen Group. The selection of informants had a background and a breadth which secured the credibility in this survey. The starting point was taken in previous research via a deductive approach where I tested how existing theories match reality. Conclusion: After completing this study should be noted that all respondents believe we will see a greater concentration of ownership in the Swedish media market in the future, and that it will reduce diversity. However, there are steps to take which I believe can work well in theory but perhaps not always in practice.

Obesity and overweight are today classified as one of the largest epidemics in the Western world and is threaten a large part of the population. As a reaction to this a major health trend has emerged in recent decades. Every day consumers are exposed to information from the media about what is healthy or unhealthy to eat and the recommendations change frequently.There is great interest in healthy food on the Swedish food market, but still healthy foods only represents a small proportion of the total food sales. The essay examines the gap between the current and potential demand for healthy food and if it can be explained by any of the following factors: lack of information, price, taste or cognitive behavioral.To study these questions a quantitative method have been used and 213 questionnaires were collected. The Intention is to draw general conclusions about the entire population.

Vårt mål med denna uppsats är att förstå de ideologier som finns representerade i ett utbildningsmaterial riktat till ungdomar om problematiken kring mäns våld mot kvinnor. Vi använder oss av en kombinerad argumentations- och ideologianalys för att nå svaret på vår frågeställning. Detta är en oortodox metod inom genusvetenskapen, vilken får oss att positionera oss feministisk-empiristiskt. Detta har bevisat för oss hur genusvetenskapen kan utvecklas och anammas även av mer traditionella discipliner. Svaret på frågeställningen är att materialet har en maktkritisk poststrukturalistisk Intention, där postkoloniala och queerteoretiska antaganden marginaliserats till förmån för könsaspekten av maktförhållandena.

Syftet med denna studie var att med hjälp av kvalitativa intervjuer undersöka lärares medvetenhet angående betydelsen av användandet av barnens erfarenheter i skrivundervisningen, för att erbjuda eleverna en god möjlighet till att utveckla sin skrivförmåga. För att uppnå syftet formulerades två frågeställningar, hur lärare beskriver barnens erfarenheter utifrån skrivundervisningen och hur de beskriver att de utformar sin skrivundervising med tanke på elevernas erfarenheter.I studien har framkommit att lärarnas Intention är att utgå från barnens erfarenheter. De lärare som intervjuats ser barnens erfarenheter som viktiga och som en förutsättning i skrivundervisningen, men de ser också att olika erfarenheter förbereder eleverna på olika sätt inför den undervisning som ges. Detta gör att de värderar och väljer ut vilka erfarenheter de vill använda i skrivundervisningen. Samtidigt ser lärarna sig själva som viktiga förmedlare av erfarenheter som barnen kan bygga sin skrivutveckling på.Uppsatsen har som teoribakgrund Vygotskijs sociokulturella perspektiv men även Deweys erfarenhetsteori och Bourdieus teori om fält, habitus och kapital.

When organizations became more flexible and customized expectations from customers and stakeholders also become higher. These expectations and guidelines are documented in a company?s management system, which can be designed differently depending on what standards the company chooses to implement.
