För hälso- och sjukvårdspersonal med anställning inom ambulansen krävs en beredskap inför olika vårdsituationer och en kunskap om de behov som personer som vårdas prehospitalt kan ha. Studier visar på att förekomsten av hot och våld mot ambulanspersonal är något som ökar. Syftet med denna intervjustudie var att beskriva specialistsjuksköterskors erfarenheter av att bli utsatta för hot och våld i den prehospitala miljön. Åtta specialistutbildade sjuksköterskor intervjuades med kvalitativa forskningsintervjuer och data analyserades med kvalitativ manifest innehållsanalys. Analysen resulterade i fyra kategorier: Att känna obehag, Att beakta den egna säkerheten, Att hantera hotfulla och våldsamma situationer och Att finna stöd hos arbetsgivaren.

My Intention was to explore the childhood of children and adolescents within the religious organization of Jehovah´s Witnesses, in Sweden. I used a technique where I interviewed three active witnesses and four former members. The former members either had left the religion freely or had been excluded by the movement. I wanted to know more from those two different perspectives, because they often seem to conflict. First of all, I wanted to learn about the persons own upbringing.

The aim of this issue is to study how Swedish public libraries deal with the principles of freedom of speech and freedom of information in connection with public use of the Internet. The authors Intention has been to find out whether the public use of the Internet has caused ethical problems for library workers and how the libraries solve situations when they consider their principles violated by library users. The authors study the debate on the issue in a couple of Swedish library magazines published during the late 1990s and they also give a few examples from the USA during the same period. They study the ethical principles and directives for schools published by the Swedish Board of Education as they claim that many of the public library users are students who bring along their ethical conceptions and thereby affect the ethical climate of the libraries. In their study the authors refer to ethical rules given to librarians by their trade union DIK and to the conclusions drawn from the hearing Good Ethics on the Net held by the Swedish IT Commission in 1998.

  The study aims to gain a better understanding and explore how a selected group (receivers) perceive two elected advertising images from Indiska and Vila and then compare their opinions to what Indiska and Vila themselves want to communicate. We base the study on theories of encoding / decoding, which deals with how the companies charge their advertising images with values and how recipients decodes these values.A qualitative study was carried out based on analytical induction (planning, collection and analysis). Through the analytical method of induction, we created categories based on the collected data and put them in relation to each other. The result showed that the overall impression of the images' and the context are of great importance for how our respondents perceive the advertising images. The overall impressions convey emotion that reinforces the expression and the message.

Sammanfattning Studiens syfte var att undersöka hur eleverna uppfattar det entreprenöriella lärandet. Vår Intention med arbetet var också att ta reda på hur eleverna ser på lärarens roll i denna pedagogiska modell, samt belysa vilka de tycker är dem största skillnaderna mellan det entreprenöriella lärandet och traditionell undervisning. Vi har valt att genomföra kvalitativa intervjuer för att finna svar på det vi vill undersöka. Undersökningsgruppen består av åtta personer vilka ändamålsenligt har valts ut av läraren i respektive klass. Respondenterna är jämnt fördelade utifrån särskilda kriterier efter vårt önskemål.

In Sweden and in the rest of the world we face the problem how to create a sustainable development. At the same time the Swedish million program, a housing program made in the 1960:s and 1970:s, is facing a renewal due to lack of maintenance during many years. An attempt to join these two interests has been made in the residential area of Gårdsten north of Gothenburg. This paper is a case study to review the project and its approach to the sustainability concept. The purpose is to spread knowledge about the problems that can arise. By studying documentation about the reconstruction I have analyzed the approach that has been used. The housing company?s starting point was user participation and an Intention to make the changes visible.

The aim of the study is to examine which present conceptions of sexuality there are in treatment of substance abuse for men. The Intention is to examine how staff members in these environments perceive clients? sex and sexuality as well as studying if and in that case how they work with sexuality in treatment. A qualitative method formed the methodological approach and semistructured interviews were carried out for the collection of data. Four staff members from two different treatment institutions for substance abuse were interviewed.

This essay examines how art could be used to bring forth and clarify the Catholic doctrines of purgatory. The research questions are: ? How are the Catholic Church?s doctrines of purgatory illustrated in art? ? How can the paintings affect the viewer and his/her notion on how to shorten the time in purgatory? How can art itself be used as a tool to achieve that goal? The timeframe of the chosen paintings is mainly 14th to 16th century but an overview of how the purgatory has been illustrated after that time until the present is also given. In order to answer the first research question, a painting from the 14th century has been analysed, using a method inspired by Patterns of Intention - a theoretical framework formulated by Michel Baxandall. A reception theoretic perspective according to Kemp, is used on a painting from the 15th century to answer the second research question. The results show that purgatory is illustrated as fire and the souls are depicted as living people, despite that a spiritual condition is visualized. The viewers at that time found the descriptions frightening, but the paintings also revealed ways of being granted indulgences, that is shorten-ing the time in purgatory. These ways were praying, making pilgrimages and giving alms.

Syftet med studien är att undersöka på vilket sätt lärarna på en skola använder sig av uterummet i undervisningen. Jag vill ta reda på vilka fördelar respektive nackdelar lärarna på skolan ser med att använda uterummet och att arbeta på ett utomhuspedagogiskt arbetssätt. Jag vill även undersöka om lärarna är medvetna om de objekt som faktiskt finns i skolans närhet vilket innebär att jag också gjort en inventering av objekt i skolans närhet som kan vara intressanta ur ett utomhuspedagogiskt perspektiv.Då min Intention är att undersöka hur det kan se ut på en skola har samtliga åtta klasslärare på skolan deltagit i min undersökning. Min studie har en kvalitativ karaktär trots att jag har genomfört en enkätundersökning eftersom min enkät endast innehåller öppna frågor.Resultatet pekar på att lärarna upplever det som positivt att använda närmiljön och utomhuspedagogik i undervisningen. Detta innebär dock inte att det är något de gör speciellt ofta eller på kontinuerlig basis.

Abstract: The fashion industry is perhaps the most unpredictable one where change occurs very rapidly. In order to be attractive and interesting in this competitive industry, a brand must constantly be up to date and differentiated from other brands to attract the consumers. This has given rise to an increasing growth of brands that cooperate for marketing reasons and more specifically, clothing retailers that perform designer collaborations with exclusive designers to create limited collections.Studies describing the effects of those collaborations on the retailers brands are rare and especially from a consumer perspective. Since H&M has been a pioneer in designer collaborations and has done it more times and for more years than any other retailer we have conducted our study on their case. Our Intention was to investigate how the designer collaborations have affected the brand equity and image of H&M, if the collaborations have increased the willingness to pay for H&M's other ranges and if they have affected H&M's ability to extend its brand to higher price segments, through an experimental study.

The main purpose of this study was to examine how social workers interpret and legally practice the 6 § LVU (Care of Young Person´s Act) in regards to legal cer-tainty. The papers Intention was to investigate and describe the legal scopes limits and deficiencies, linked to practical social work. The study was composed on a legal dogmatic method which implies to examine the law and its elaboration. The investi-gation was based on different court rulings of care of youths according mostly to 6 § LVU. Perusal and interpretation of the rulings have been necessary in order to clarify the issues.

The aim of this study was to analyze the assessment of the primary school, from the teacher?s perspective. There has been an ongoing discussion regarding assessment and about the purposes of assessment for a long time. But there is a paucity of research on what teachers believe about. This study examined primary teachers? beliefs on major purposes of assessment.Assessment is the process of gathering and interpreting information about students? learning.

Syftet med föreliggande studie var att vinna kunskap om och ge en bild av hur sex pedagoger inom förskolan upplever att det är att arbeta integrerat med asylbarn i den allmänna förskolan och att ge en bild av vad pedagogerna berättar om hur detta arbete organiseras.  För att få svar på studiens frågor har en kvalitativ forskningsintervju använts. Två forskningsfrågor skapades från vilka intervjufrågorna huvudsakligen formades. Forskningsfrågorna var: Vilka förutsättningar för arbetet med asylbarn ger pedagogerna uttryck för och på vilket sätt organiseras den allmänna förskolan för asylbarn. Som analysredskap i studien har den sociokulturella och den interkulturella teorin använts. Studiens resultat visar att integreringen av asylbarn i den allmänna förskolan innebär att pedagogerna har att förhålla sig till att arbeta med asylbarn och deras föräldrar utan att dela språk eller känna till mycket om deras bakgrund.

Abstract in English:This essay constitutes a case study based upon in-depth interviews held with people who have, or have had, Exhaustion Disorder (ED), concerning their understanding and use of music and sound, encompassing experiences which are both positive and negative. The Intention is to document how the illness influences the subjects' music use. The study shows that the respondents intuitively and consciously are using music by regulating, getting in touch with and manifesting their emotions. Music is an important tool in performing self therapy and to achieve a good existential health. Music can also provoke negative physical and mental reactions and affect the general health status for those diagnosed with ED.

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka och analysera betydelser och föreställningar av oskuld bland unga på ett nätforum för att försöka förstå hur dessa ter sig. Materialet, vilket består av utvalda foruminlägg, inhämtas genom dolda observationer och bearbetas med hjälp av en kvalitativ innehållsanalys. Uppsatsen behandlar ämnet oskuld i relation till ungdomar, sexualitet, normer och Internet. Studien begränsas till ett nätforum för unga och det är endast de åsikter och tankar som cirkulerar i det virtuella rummet som behandlas i uppsatsen. Inom det ungdomsfokuserade sociala arbetet upplever många socialarbetare en osäkerhet i att bemöta funderingar kring sexualitet och vår förhoppning med denna uppsats är att försöka bredda synen på oskuld och sexualitet bland ungdomar.
