The purpose of this Master?s thesis is to examine what role the new city library in Halmstad has for its users. The questions posed in this study are: What do the users actually do at the library? What roles are the most significant according to the users? Have the politicians succeeded in their Intention of realizing a modern library according to the users? The theoretical starting point is Andersson?s and Skot-Hansen?s theory of four different roles of public libraries. In order to extend the model we added a fifth function; the one of aesthetical experience.

This study was about disability organisations opinion concerning ICF: s importance in their work to receive the same recognition and human rights for their members as citizens. The aim has been to elucidate disability organisations awareness about and use/non use of ICF and to increase the understanding of ICF: s importance for recognition and redistribution. Three different methods have been used: literature study, questionnaire survey, both on counties' (27) - and national (26) level and interviews (5) on national level. There is also a distinct difference between the disability organisations that represents people with visible impairments, who don?t think that ICF is so useful and they that represent people with invisible impairments, who thinks that ICF is a useful tool.

An LSS officer?s activities are governed by laws and regulations and it has great power in influencing the individual's situation when reweaving its case. Officer?s actions have effects on the applicant and it can use its power and not look after the individual's best. Its interest can lie in community and his own position.

Many product launches are postponed today, however very little research regarding to customer responses to such events has been carried out. The purpose of this paper is to investigate how people react to a postponed product launch. An experimental study of responses to a postponed launch of a mobile phone, a mineral water and a music album is used to investigate customer reactions. The respondents exposed to the postponed launch showed a higher value of reactance. This reactance affects the attitude, purchase Intention and perceived quality of the product in a negative way.

This study is an attempt to examine a hospital library's difficulties in reaching customers with consumer health information. The method was a case study of the consumer health service in the hospital library in Västerås, a town in Sweden. Qualitative interviews, observations and written material were used. The approach was from the actor's point of view with the Intention to look upon the problem with the eyes of those who work at the hospital with information to patients, that is librarians and medical staff. Theories about marketing in service organizations and how to develop new services were used in the study, as well as theories about communication and different cultures within organizations of different kinds like the library and the hospital.

This examination project is an investigation about the opinion and comprehension for political engagement of four young municipal politicians. The purpose with this project is to describe and understand the pronounced comprehension for political engagement. There is also an Intention to investigate the educational in discussing political engagement with students in social studies at upper secondary school. The method that has been used is ?map of conceptions? because of its appropriate way to elucidate the comprehension and understanding of a certain subject. Those four young municipal politicians see political engagement as the will to improve the community. There is also an importance to have a large engagement in more areas than just one.

Syfte: Studiens syfte har varit att undersöka hur olika professioner inom skolorganisationen i en kommun ser på hur exkluderingen till särskilda undervisningsgrupper sker och hur det överrensstämmer med styrdokumentens Intention om inkludering av elever. Vi använde oss av fyra frågeställningar: Är särskild undervisningsgrupp förenligt med en skola för alla? Vad säger skolans styrdokument om särskilda undervisningsgrupper och hur ser kommunens särskilda undervisningsgrupper ut? Vilka kriterier gäller för att en elev i svårigheter ska flyttas till en särskild undervisningsgrupp? Vem har störst makt över vem som ska flyttas till en särskild undervisningsgrupp.Bakgrund: I skolverket (2008b) under rubriken Främja en god lärandemiljö står att ?det är viktigt att skolan skapar en miljö där samtliga elever inkluderas så långt som möjligt och att undervisningen anpassas till elevernas förutsättningar och behov? (s 8). Enligt skolverket har det rapporterats att trots att det finns ambitioner att arbeta mer inkluderande i skolan, så sker en ökning av särskiljande åtgärder. Vi visste att det fanns särskilda undervisningsgrupper i våra egna kommuner och ville då undersöka mer om hur och varför elever flyttas till särskilda undervisningsgrupper i en tid då talet om ?en skola för alla? är så framträdande.Metod: Vi valde ut en mindre kommun i södra Sverige där det finns två särskilda undervisningsgrupper, så kallade resursskolor, som ligger åtskilda från sina hemskolor.

Many corporations turn to IT-outsourcing to focus more on their core competence or to cut the IT-budget. There is one caveat, the costs presented at a first glance does not always present the entire truth. Instead the costs run deeper and so-called hidden costs exist beyond the contractual cost. Reducing these hidden costs may very well be crucial to the entire IT-outsourcing endeavor. However many firms are not aware of these costs and as such they have a reduced chance of success.

The purpose of this essay is to examine wage-earners' investment funds from the ideological point of view. Were they in any way an integrated part of social democratical democratic socialism and reformism? I emphasize Olof Palme´s ideological idea of democratic socialism and reformism, and how he handled the issue. How did the question of these funds correspondent with the basic ideological points of view, and what was the standpoint of Palme in this issue.My method is built upon a deep study and analyses of SAP board of party and the standing committees protocol in the light of Olof Palme´s and SAP's ideology. I even use information from literature, inquiries and dissertations.

Den höga personalomsättningen i managementkonsultföretag orsakar stora kostnader varför det är viktigt att undersöka varför personer väljer att avsluta sin anställning. Syftet med denna studie var att klargöra vad managementkonsultföretag kan vidta för åtgärder för att behålla sin personal. En kvalitativ undersökning har utförts med semistrukturerade intervjuer med sex managementkonsulter från tre olika managementkonsultföretag. Insamlad data har analyserats med en kombination av induktiv och deduktiv tematisk analys. Studiens resultat visade att konsulternas utveckling, återkoppling, medarbetare och lön är relevanta faktorer som påverkar deras Intention att stanna i sina företag.

The Intention of this study is to find out how the English subject takes form and develops in the early years in school related to the curriculum, teachers, teaching material, students and parents. The methods of the survey have been classroom observations, teacher interviews, textbook analysis and a parents´ questionnaire. The findings of this study are that the knowledge of the teacher in and about the English subject can have effect on how the English subject will be presented to the students during the English lessons and the amount of the students oral production of the target language seem to depended on how much the teacher uses the target language in the classroom. The contents of the English lessons was overall structured by the curriculum. The parents and their interest in their children´s education seem to have had an impact on how much focus the English language get.

One of the essential needs of human beings is to be involved in a social context. The Intention of this study was to see if the opportunity to have an iPod Touch, could make it possible for students with literacy difficulties to participate in the regular classes and if the implementation of iPod Touch in the school setting would result in informal learning outside the school. In this case study two pupils with literacy difficulties have been using an iPod Touch in their daily school activity. The pupils as well as their teachers have been interviewed about their experiences of implementing iPod Touch as a tool in the regular classroom teatching. The results indicate that iPod Touch can help students to be in inclusive education and that they use the iPod Touch outside school.
