Municipal safety work is an issue frequently discussed. The new legislation about accident prevention obeys the Swedish municipality to present an action program for accident prevention. In Borlänge municipality there has been no sanctioned proposal for a program. This report presents the problems found and gives proposals for improvements in the future safety work. The guiding words should be unambiguousness, able to control and not too complicated.

This essay deals with the paradox of why the immigrants in Sweden, despite their considerable size of 12 % of the population and common interest and living opportunities, haven?t mobilized politically in any significant way. The aim with this essay is to reach a theoretical understanding of why this paradox exist. By the use of a critical case and a theoretical model, based on theories of collective action, the conclusion of this essay is that, despite the fact that the immigrants have a common interest and an organizational structure, the immigrants in Sweden has not mobilized politically in any significant way. The main reason for this is that they have a weak common identity and they don?t have the structural opportunities to act..

Flera städer och regioner har börjat arbeta tillsammans för att stärka sina gemensamma positioner och öppna nya möjligheter för företagen i regionen. Genom att etablera så kallade logistiknav kan samarbete mellan olika aktörer i regionen ske på nya villkor. Gävle-Borlängeregionen kommer till hösten 2011 att lansera MellanSveriges LogistikNav, som har som mål att bli etablerat som varumärke och stärka affärsmiljön i regionen. Vi fick i uppdrag av Mellansvenska Handelskammaren, som ligger bakom MellanSveriges LogistikNav att se närmare på ett antal frågeställningar angående logistiknav runt om i Sverige och förutsättningarna för att starta upp detta i denna region. Tillvägagångssättet som vi valde att använda i arbetet för att uppnå vårt syfte var att först gå igenom den teori som fanns kring logistiknav och lokaliseringskriterier.

The study explores collective action in Sweden between 1980 to 1995 using time-series data from the European Protest and Coercion Database. In spite of severe hardship during the crisis of the early 1990s, Swedish strike-rates declined. However, contention merely shifted from workplaces into the streets; there was indeed a protest movement against austerity, as shown by a series of large demonstrations, and some riots, between 1989 and 1993. Further analysis indicates this movement faded as it was increasingly chanelled into the electoral campaign of the labor pary; having won the 1994 election, the organised labor movement no longer had an interest in sustaining the protest movement against austerity..

Can we harm future people? According to our commonly used contractarian theories, it seems we cannot. This is because our actions of today not only influence what they are supposed to influence, but also who mates with whom and when, and thus which particular persons will ever live in the future. Had we not performed a particular action, the future people born as a result of that same action, would not have been born. It therefore seems they cannot reasonably reject our actions.

Förskolegården är ett aktuellt och intressant område inför vår kommande roll som förskollärare. Gården är en plats där vi kommer tillbringa stor del av vår framtid och därför vill vi få mer kunskap om detta ur pedagogers perspektiv.  Det vi fokuserat på är pedagogers uppfattningar och åsikter om förskolegården och detta kan vi koppla till begreppen Intelligent action och learning by doing som är Deweys teorier. Dessa teorier handlar främst om upplevelser och erfarenheter vilket vi grundar vår studie på eftersom vi anser att man utvecklas hela livet och att det därför är viktigt att få vara med om olika händelser.    Genom att vi kopplar vår studie till upplevelser och erfarenheter intar vi ett sociokulturellt perspektiv som fokuserar på intresset för det individuella barnet och barnet i grupp.    Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka några förskolepedagogers uppfattningar beträffande utemiljön på gården samt observera vad det finns för material och vad som används av barnen. Frågeställningarna vi använt oss av är: Vad anser den intervjuade pedagogen om miljön på gården i dag? Vad är pedagogernas åsikter kring upplägget av gården? Vad för material finns på gården och vad används?    Metoderna vi använt oss av är intervju och observation på tre olika förskolor i mellansverige där vi intervjuat sex pedagoger och observerat på sex förskolegårdar.    Resultatet av intervjuerna och observationerna visar att i de flesta fall var pedagogerna nöjda med gårdarna eftersom att det ansågs finnas det mesta, exempelvis närheten till naturen där utbudet skiftar beroende på årstid och detta ger barnen möjlighet till olika upplevelser.

Is there a specific tradition of songs within the swedish environmental movement? What kinds of music has been performed in different situations and what does it mean to the movement and its inner life? The essay deals with a town meeting and action against plans of establishing passenger flights at a former military airport in Uppsala, looking at the action as a performance and as a ritual. The second part of the essay is built on interviews of three veterans of the movement's organisations one of which is as a singer-songwriter originally active in the peace movement of the 60's. The paper is about the songs and the situations in which they were sung, concluding that there is, the limited material considered, little evidence of considerable transfer of songs within the movement, though some coherence exists. The connection to between environmental movement and the swedish radical music movement of the 70's is also slightly mentioned.

The product will then be analyzed in order to detect the development and how military conduct is forced to adapt in order to carry out a surprising maneuver. The results shows that the military action of performing a surprise attack has had a major development and is now carried out in a different stage of the attack..

This thesis analyzes the consequences of ?Lex Uggla? ? a law concerning the boundaries between firm and individual with respect to wealth taxation ? for small businesses, with more than 3 million SEK in over-liquidity. There are two main findings of this thesis. Firstly, the wealth taxation of non-operational assets seems to be an inefficient tax which costs the Swedish welfare system much more than it generates. Secondly, the change in actions among entrepreneurs following the extensive news coverage following the tax authority?s charges against the company of the well-known artist, Magnus Uggla (hence ?Lex Uggla?) illustrates that neither changes of rules nor new applications of rules is necessarily sufficient for an agent to change course of action.

Härskarringen valdes ut i samband med en större undersökning bland manliga gymnasieelever. Vi använder oss av en kvalitativ analys av de tre filmerna. The purpose of this study was to highlight cyber-bullying and its place in today?s schools. Our aim was to research how schools with bullying prevention programs are equipped to handle and take action against cyber-bullying. Furthermore this study focuses on whether or not schools are responsible for cases of cyber-bullying. We also aimed to present teachers? general views and knowledge regarding this phenomenon.

Om närstående ska orka leva tillsammans med en yngre demenssjuk partner behöver de erbjudas stöd som är utformat utifrån deras situation och behov. Syftet var att i samarbete med närstående till personer vars demenssjukdom debuterat före 65 års ålder planera ett närståendestöd. Metoden som användes var Participatory Action Research (PAR), en interaktiv forskningsmetod som innefattar reflektion, analys och handling. Fokusgruppssamtal genomfördes med två fokusgrupper vid vardera tre tillfällen. Samtliga deltagare var make eller maka som levde tillsammans med en yngre demenssjuk partner.
