Possessory liens and legal liens are two securities that has been the subject of debate from legal scholars for quite some time. Possessory liens are often viewed as a weaker security compared to legal liens. However, upon closer examination it turns out that possessory liens in most cases provide the the same opportunity to sell the property withheld as security. This possibility makes possessory liens resemble, if not be identical to, legal liens. Both securities arise by operation of law and grant the right to both withhold and sell property in the event of non-payment.

Denna uppsats är gjord på uppdrag av Tarbit Shipping som år 2011 konverterade sin tankbåt M/T Bit Viking från konventionell drift på tjockolja till LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas).Uppdraget som gavs var att upprätta en tränings manual till fartyget då det är ett krav från IMO (International Maritime Organization). Trycksår är en vanlig komplikation hos patienter som drabbats av höftfraktur. Syftet med denna systematiska litteraturstudie var att finna betydelsefulla riskfaktorer för trycksår hos patienter med höftfraktur för att sjuksköterskan omgående ska kunna identifiera en patient med hög risk. Metoden som använts för denna litteraturstudie var en modell med sju steg för ett systematiskt tillvägagångssätt. Litteratursökningen utfördes i databaserna PubMed, CINAHL och The Cochrane Library. Kvalitetsgranskning av studier utfördes med ett protokoll av Willman m fl (2006) modifierat av författarna.

E.ON Elnät has in their project Operational Performance developed a priority tool forconstruction and operation. The tool will help the users to increase the capability to prioritybetween new development projects and removal of faults. The tool can be seen as a measuringfor different bay?s reliability, size and the community usefulness. The result of the priority isdirectly connected to which calibration that is chosen in the tool.The priority tool is still under development and there is therefore an uncertainty about howsensitive the tool is for changes in the calibration.

The aim of this Master's thesis is to study what place public libraries have in local politics, particularly from the point of view of the politicians. To answer this, I have interviewed politicians, participated as a silent observer of a public debate, and studied articles on library politics in newspapers and other press. The results show that politicians in general have a positive view of libraries and good co-operation with library professionals, and that they have a fairly up-to-date view of libraries. They are, however, less interested in library issues in general, and are often complacent with the way things are already running. The newspaper studies show that library issues are usually only discussed when a specific library is somehow in danger.

Reintroduction is an attempt to reestablish a viable population of a species in an area to which it is native. To make such an operation successful in the long run it is essential to know the attitudes of the stakeholders involved. This study has sensed the attitudes towards reintroduction of European bison to Sweden.

En av de mest inflytelserika teoretikerna inom upprorsbekämpning (COIN) är den franske officeren David Galula som i mitten av 1900-talet formulerade sin teori om upprorsbekämpning och vikten av att skaffa sig civilbefolkningens stöd för att genomföra en lyckad COIN-operation. Studien använder sig av Galulas teori om COIN och hans åtta punkter som analysverktyg vid studien om den svenska insatsen i Afghanistan. Av studien framgår att den svenska insatsen skiljer sig mot Galulas teori på flera punkter.

The war between Georgia and Russia awakened the world pretty brutally when a small country like Georgia tried to restore order in South Ossetia. The war between the two countries took place over five days in August 2008. This paper discusses the Russian operational art and its development after the war. The starting point is to test the traditional and classic Russian theory of operational art. The aim is to describe and discuss the Russian operational experience and any developments and trends in the Russian Federation's armed forces. The purpose of describing the theory behind the operational art is to create an independent analysis model. The essay?s analysis is based entirely from qualitative research with the collection of qualitative data in the form of texts and documents with a holistic perspective. Initially, the theory chapter is created from an inductive approach to identify, define and describe the operational concept and principles, creating a theoretical model of explanation. The developed analytical model is based on the Russian theory of operational art and takes off from a deductive approach to the collected empirical data. The results of the performed analysis results are interpreted and the product of this presented in the operational conclusions. Russia had a strategic ability to win the war by means of strategic resources related to tempo, simplicity and shock effect on the Georgian troops. Russia carries out a variety of reforms and the outcome of the war demonstrates the importance of Russia having a strategic capacity to make use of one in the type of conflict that Georgia represents. This success shows that the strategic capabilities are initially a success factor, while the deficiencies in the operational and tactical levels cannot be accepted in the long run, but must be developed.

Ett fingeravtryck ger en 100% säker identifiering och kräver ingenstödbevisning.Fingeravtryckets unika egenskaper och fullvärdiga bevisvärde gör att dess framtidinom kriminaltekniken och rättsväsendet är ljus.Nära släktingar har liknande DNA och vid otillräcklig mängd av DNA-fynd finnssvårighet att särskilja individen.

SammanfattningI denna studie presenteras tidigare forskning som beskriver datorspelande som fenomen. Bland annat beskriver tidigare forskning hur utspritt datorspelande är, vem som spelar samt vilka konsekvenser det kan få. Dessutom framkommer olika riskfaktorer för datorspelsberoende. Detta kan vara bland annat kön, social utsatthet och psykisk hälsa. Det är också utifrån den tidigare forskningen som en kunskapslucka identifierades.

Antalet vuxna som lever med fetma har enligt WHO fördubblats sedan 1980. Kirurgiskt ingrepp såsom gastric bypass är den metod som leder till hållbar viktminskning. Syftet med studien var att undersöka hur patienter som genomgått viktminskningskirurgi kan uppleva stödet före, under och efter operation. Studien har en narrativ fenomenologisk ansats, berättelserna har analyserats genom meningskoncentrering, strukturering och tolkning. Studien innefattar berättelser från fem informanter som valdes genom handplockat urval.

The aim of this thesis is to illustrate the principal problem of the study of national self-images and by questioning the congruent existence of one in the case of Sweden. Through the use of qualitative method and semi-structured interviews the ambition of the study is to compare and to understand the national self-images portrayed in a major Swedish town, Stockholm and to that of a smaller town on the countryside, Sjöbo. A social constructionist approach in co-operation with key temporal and spasial dimensions are used to penetrate the interviews at hand. The main conclusions drawn from this study highlights the difficulties in addressing the concept of a congruent national self-image. Several major discrepancies appear in the analysed material, mainly in the past and the external dimensions, both from a regional approach, but also very much within the local entities themselves..

This master thesis is an in-depth study of an existing heating system at a household cooperative in Uppsala that has been converted from district heating to a bedrock heat pump system. The study focuses on an economical system optimisation of the building?s complete heating system. The aim was to determine how well a heat pump system in large buildings actually work, find out possible ways to optimize the existing system and point out important system parameters for new heat pump installations in larger buildings.The project points out a possible energy cost reduction of 45 % without investment and further cost reductions with equipment investments. A reduction by 30 % is possible by improvements in the regulation system and 15 % is possible by maintaining the brine system.
