Syftet med studien är att undersöka, förstå och reflektera kring de faktorer som kan ha bidragit till sex individers, som vid ankomsten räknades som ensamkommande flyktingbarn, integrering in i det svenska samhället. För att kunna besvara våra frågeställningar har vi valt att använda oss av kvalitativ metod då den dels möjliggör en djupare förståelse för oss men även då vi vill få fram deras subjektiva upplevelser av deras integration. Vi grundade vår analys på fem vetenskapliga artiklar samt teorier och begrepp så som; Angel & Hjerns (2004) Flyktingkrismodell, Beckmans (2011) Integrationsteori, Kamalis (2006) ?Vi? och ?Dom? teori, Goffmans (2006) Stigmateori och Berger & Luckmanns (2008) Socialisationsteori. Resultatet visade att respondenterna upplevde att språk var en viktig faktor i integreringen och att värdfamiljen haft en stor betydelse för dem.

In this Bachelor Thesis (20 p.), we present the history and development of "Intelligent Houses", and most important- explore some of the future possibilities in this area. The project has been carried out through an interdisciplinary cooperation between three different educations at the Blekinge Institute of Technology. By conducting a dialogue with various actors with different professions, we have been trying to identify needs within the concept of "Intelligent Houses", were the end user is not only the tenant or homeowner. Through Participatory Design methods, such as a Future Workshop, we have brought the users together to discuss their own and each others needs and hindrances in their respective work practice, and how intelligent house technology could improve their work conditions. We have also been testing a highly sophisticated CO/CO2/Moisture/Temperature/Enthalpy multi-sensor & controller, originally developed for regulating indoor climate systems. Based on the needs we have found in our fieldwork, we have been looking at possibilities to make multi user solutions with the sensor..

The present memorandum outlines the structure, theoretical starting points and disposition of a thesis about the activities of Finnish immigrants in a Swedish local community, more specifically their political integration. The intention is to study the municipality of Katrineholm in the years 1944 to 1991.Previous research about the actorship of immigrants in spheres such as politics, labour unions, immigrant associations, educational associations and mass-education, as well as churches and religion, is presented to give an overview of possible areas connected to political integration that can be studied. The overview of previous research also covers local immigrant politics.The intended theoretical starting points for the proposed thesis are political economy and hegemony. The latter is intended to be investigated through its expression in the social relations class, gender, ethnicity, nationality and generation. It is suggested in this memorandum that hegemonies and social relations within a local political economy can be operationalised fruitfully in a study of political integration.

The purpose of our thesis is to understand the opportunities and obstacles that administrators in the municipalities and work intermediaries in Halland experience in their work with the introduction of newly arrived refugees in the labor market. In this study we have done 8 qualitative interviews with employees in the municipality and the employment in work intermediation in Halland to illuminate the underlying factors of why the report "A lost year" of the Swedish Integration Board shows that few newly arrived refugees get a job in the first year after they have been received a residence permit.The study showed that newly arrived refugees have it more difficult to be introduced in the labor market in Sweden. The underlying causes of the situation are many, according to those interviewed. Knowledge in the Swedish language is most important for the introduction of the newly arrived refugees'. Other factors that affect the newly arrived refugees? opportunity to be introduced in the labor market are the discrimination that exists in society.

This studie explores how a promotive youth movement that aims to activate adolescents in economically and socially exposed areas, can affect the youth?s participation in society and oppose their experience of stigmatization. The youth movement, whom is being studied, uses urban art expressions as a mean to engage and motivate the adolescents. The empirism has mostly been collected by a limited participatory observation, and through qualitative interviews with staff and adolescents in the movement. The result has been analyzed through Pierre Bourdieus field theory.

It is a well-known fact that children with ADHD are hyperactive and have a hard time concentrating; therefore it is of interest to examine how teachers deal with this fact. This study expands the understanding of how teachers work with children who has ADHD; the main purpose of this study has been to examine how teachers view students with ADHD and how they work to include these students in the classroom environment.  special pedagogy has been used to analyze the results. The results are based on four interviews in two schools in south of Stockholm with teachers who work in classes that contain children in the third grade, some of the children have been diagnosed with ADHD and some only have strong characteristics for the functional limitation. Findings suggest that teachers? use structure, planning and the modification of students? individual needs to make them included in the classroom education.

Syftet är att ta reda på hur organisationer i civilsamhället ser på och arbetar med integration. För att ta reda på detta har jag genomfört 15 intervjuer med representanter för organisationer som arbetar med integration i Göteborg. Dessa intervjuer har sedan legat till grund för en analys utifrån idealtyper, vilka jag konstruerat med utgångspunkt från teori och tidigare forskning. Den tidigare forskningen säger att integrationsbegreppet och integrationspolitiken är otydligt och att flera olika tolkningar kan göras och görs av begreppet. Tre olika förhållningssätt urskiljs.

Utifrån nyckelbegreppen interkulturalitet och internationalitet har vi skrivit en uppsats om huruvida en lyckad integration kan vara möjlig att uppnå via dessa begrepp. Syftet är att undersöka hur lärare hanterar den segregation vi har i vårt samhälle, i sin undervisning. Vi har tittat närmare på om och hur de verkar för integration samt hur de hanterar eventuella konflikter i skolvardagen, konflikter som kan vara relaterade till rädsla och fördomar för det okända. För att kunna besvara vårt syfte, har vi utgått från en teoretisk grund. Denna vilar på en litteraturstudie kring språksociologiska teorier, teorier kring läroplanen samt teorier kring dagens mångkulturella samhälle.

The field of the social economy and of the work integration social enterprises (WISE) in particular, is for many a more or less unknown area. Unlike ordinary enterprises the WISE's are different due to their aim of integrating disadvantaged people through work. In comparison with other small enterprises earlier research has shown that the WISE's are dealing with challenges regarding recruitment, participation, leadership, sustainable business ideas but above all, the access to funding. The purpose of this essay has therefore been to examine and analyze the financial situation of eight WISE's located in the Stockholm County. The results indicate that half of the enterprises perceive their economic situation as very unstable and as an obstacle to their further development.

This study has an integration policy direction as it focuses on the qualification for the new arrivals to quickly establish themselves in the labor market, and how the government's interventions, which in this case is the establishment reform, have affected municipalities and what its role is in this context. The purpose of the establishment reform is to faster the new arrivals integration in to the labor market. The aim of this study is to analyze the interaction factors that is affecting the integration of new arrivals into the labor market by study the professionals opinions on the interplay between involved organizations in two municipalities before and after the establishment reform. Studies have shown that the establishment reform has not achieved its goal and the purpose is to analyze the aspects behind this problem. The results of the study were analyzed with help of the interaction theory and the new institutional theory which is a part of the organization theory. An important aspect in the results of our study is the deficiency with the interaction between the participating organizations that obstruct the new arrivals path to becoming self-contained. In order to identify the problem, the study focuses on the co-operation among two communities in Sweden with the new arrivals way into the labor market.

Uppsatsen syftar till att undersöka om ett aktivt deltagande i en religiös gemenskap kan påverka integrationsprocessen, d v s nyinflyttade utländska personers möjligheter att känna sig delaktiga i en för dem helt ny form av kultur och samhälle. Jag har avgränsat mig till att fokusera på de nyanlända flyktingarnas uppfattning om detta. Vad tror de själva om den religiösa gemenskapens betydelse för integration? Att göra en studie som mer direkt visar på om deltagande i religiös gemenskap har betydelse för integration anser jag kräver betydligt mer omfattande undersökningar under en längre period, med t ex jämförelser av hur de nyanlända flyktingarna efter en viss tid uppnått ett för dem positivt deltagande i det svenska samhället ställt i relation till deltagande/icke deltagande i en religiös gemenskap.Syftet med uppsatsen är att söka kunskap om nyanlända utländska medborgare i Sverige upplever att ett deltagande i en religiös gemenskap har betydelse för deras möjligheter till deltagande i den nya samhällskontext man kommit till, d v s om ett aktivt deltagande i religiös gemenskap påverkar integrationen. Förutom den psykologiska dimensionen - anser man den religiösa gemenskapen ha en praktisk funktion i en ny samhällskontext? Detta har lett till följande frågeställningar;· Vilka förutsättningar och möjligheter har målgruppen att praktisera sin religiösa tro?· Hur uppfattar målgruppen den religiösa gemenskapens funktion? Uppfattar man den som en inre angelägenhet, som en yttre angelägenhet eller både och?.

Children of school age, who have just moved to Sweden can either start in a preparation class or in a normal class. There is no Swedish law or national policy that determines how new children will start and continue their education in Swedish schools. The decision is up to the schools or the communes.This study investigates what kind of educational methods teachers, from a sample of two different schools, are using to educate the newly-arrived students and if these methods are making any contribution to integrating these children into the Swedish school system. The study will raise questions like, how are the new students introduced to the Swedish school, what is the purpose of having the children in preparation class as opposed to normal class, and what methods do the interviewed teachers use to integrate the new children into the school system?Interviews were conducted with four teachers, an associate professor and a senior lecturer in education, who has done several years of research about children from abroad coming in to the Swedish school system.

Sverige ses idag som ett av de sämsta länderna på integration i Europa, klyftorna mellan rika och fattiga vidgas och segregationen bara ökar mellan etniska svenskar och personer med utländsk härkomst. För att vända denna negativa utveckling av det svenska samhället har ett flertal olika sociala projekt startats men endast ett fåtal av dessa har senare blivit permanenta. Ett av dessa projekt fick en fantastisk respons och är idag en fast verksamhet vid namn Yalla Trappan. Yalla Trappan var från början ett arbetsintegrerande socialt projekt, men numera bedrivs verksamheten som ett framgångsrikt socialt företag i Rosengård, Malmö. Genom teoretisering av begreppet integration som vi sedan ställt i relation till segregation, arbete och socialt företagande har vi försökt utreda vad integration kan innebära.

Föreningar har länge varit i centrum för den svenska integrationspolitiken då de anses stärka det sociala kapitalet och utgöra en arena för integrerande möten. Denna studie fokuserar på hur nyanlända svenskar själva upplever det svenska föreningslivet och dess koppling till integrationen. En grupp som sällan tillfrågas om deras egna åsikter i frågan. I studien har nio personer medverkat i kvalitativa intervjuer vilka samtliga har varit i kontakt med projektet Integration i Förening, ett projekt som syftar till att få nyanlända att gå med i föreningslivet. I studien undersöks hur dessa personer har upplevt mötet och informationen om föreningslivet som de fått genom Integration i Förening samt hur deras förståelse av vad en förening ser ut. Vidare undersöks hur personerna har upplevt det egna föreningsengagemanget, vilka effekter de erfarit att det haft och hur de ser på föreningar som en möjlig väg till integration.

Mergers and acquisitions are a phenomenon which can occur for a variety of reasons. It may for example be that the organizations want to gain larger market shares or to complement and learn from each other and thus become more competitive. After the completion of an acquisition or merger, a process is initiated to create an affiliation between the two companies' employees. The purpose of this paper is to examine whether there is something that management can do to make the integration process as efficient as possible. The empirical research in this paper consisted of interviews and surveys with respondents from two accounting firms that recently completed a merger.
