Integration är en diskussion som är högt på agendan i Sverige. Mitt syfte har med denna uppsats varit att ta reda på hur ensamkommande flyktingbarn får chans att integreras i Bromölla kommun. Mina frågeställningar har varit: I vilken grad har integrationsmålen uppnåtts? Hur kan implementeringsresultatet förklaras? På vilka sätt skulle man kunna utveckla verksamheten till det bättre i Bromölla? Jag har valt att använda mig av implementeringsteori och har mätt hur integrationsmålen implementerats i verkligheten. Implementeringsteorin jag har valt att använda är ?uppifrån och ner?.

This thesis is about how the library can help immigrants integrate into theswedish society. By studying leading documents of the libraries in Malmö,Stockholm and Umeå in search for how the relate to work consideringimmigrants and integration I have studied the library as a bridge betweenbeing included and excluded in the society. The thought is that the libraryopens the door to new worlds both for immigrants and born swedes toobtain knowledge about a culture different from their own.In my thesis I reached the conclusion that library on a day to day basisworks with the integrationprocess for immigrants. Although the leadingdocuments should evolve since they show gaps and seem somewhatmisguiding in their presentation of the libraries function. The librariesshould work more with analysis of the environment that they are active in sothat they are more individualized for the people around it.

This study aims to build a deeper understanding of how differences in identities and communication can affect the possibilities of achieving a successful merger between companies from different type of industries. Our study is of qualitative nature and looks into the specific merger between Företagshälsovården AB and Managementkonsulterna AB. The study builds upon 16 semi structured interviews which are carried out with employees from both parts of the organization and with management personnel. Firstly our study shows that the different identities existing within the different parts of the organization, highly affect the integration process after a merger. Secondly we show that the level of communication transmitted from the management, but also between the different parts of the organization, affects the possibilities of creating a successful merger.

Många elever anser att SO-ämnena är trista och jobbiga. Som blivande SO-lärare känns detta faktum inte bra och mina tankar går direkt till att det måste gå att göras något åt. Jag har med mitt examensarbete satt mig in i om inte lokalhistoria skulle kunna vara ett sätt att höja intresset. Lokalhistoria är inte bara ett sätt att läsa historia utan det finns förutsättningar att integrera alla skolans ämnen för att försöka skapa engagemang och komma fram till sammanhang och helhetsbilder för eleverna. I lokalhistoriska studier börjar man att arbeta med det som ligger nära eleven och möjligheter finns att på ett sätt väva in praktiska studier.

This thesis is a critical discourse analysis of the vision of Malmös contemporary urban development. By analysing official documents produced by Malmö municipality our aim is to make discursive and sociolcultural practices in the constitution and construction of the city visible and problematicize them. To do so we use critical discourse analysis and theories on Urban Studies. Malmö is a city historically labeld as a ?labour- city?, with heavy industry as its main labourmarket.

The construction industry in Sweden has in the past 50 years had a low progress in efficiency. With a greater competition from construction firms from other countries, it is necessary to maintain the profit for Swedish construction firms. This is possible with a higher feedback of experience. This diploma work thesis examines how the two construction companies NCC and Skanska in Uppsala, Sweden handle experience feedback from previous projects and the extent to which the experience is spread and used in future projects. In this work, we examined directorial documents to see how employees shall work with feedback.

The underlying purpose of this study is to investigate how the libraries in Sweden organize and administrate the service of providing literature in other languages than Swedish. The study focuses on the central guiding principles that regulate the provision of multilingual literature and how these guidelines are implemented in to practice at the libraries. As the guidelines are closely connected to the official discourse in Sweden concerning policies targeted towards immigrants, the guidelines will be examined from a perspective of integration politics. To assemble data a survey has been conducted looking into factors such as how the libraries perceive the guidelines, how the libraries do business intelligence and user inquires to reach out to the users of the multilingual media, forms for statistics and method of working. The results points out that the libraries in their work with multilingual media are confronted with three tensions; the first tension is that between the libraries aim to promote equality and freedom for the individual and at the same time to fulfil certain collective interests and goals.

In this paper I attempt to analyze the ways the European Union defines its external borders in cross-border co-operation with its neighbours. The analysis is based on case study examining the founding components of a updated version of the Northern Dimension policy of the European Union.The analytical framework of the study is composed of three different perceptions on the cross-border co-operation; regionalisation, integration and flexible integration. I conclude that the model of cross-border co-operation laid by the Northern Dimension policy would have an impact on the EU's external border with Russia, making it more flexible and vague.As far as the geographical terms of the co-operation are concerned, they seem to shift from regional co-operation to greater emphasis the role of networks as basis for co-operation instead of traditional regions..

How does the criticism of landscape architecture in Swedish professional journals look today? Does it exist at all? What is criticism and what is its purpose? These questions have been the starting point for this degree project. I have found a lot of different answers among journals, books and websites, as well as in interviews with five persons that all have a relation to the landscape architecture criticism in different ways. These answers may look a bit disjointed at first, but are at a closer examination pointing in the same direction ? that the criticism of landscape architecture projects hardly exists today.

Aims: The aim of this study is to describe how youth?s political exclusion is constructed as asocial problem. This is done through a study of a project which aim is to engage young peoplein politics.Method and theory: By interviewing the project?s manager and developer as well as eightparticipating young people different constructions of the problem of youth political exclusionhas been analyzed using the social constructionist perspective on social problems.Findings: The dominant perspective found in the empirical material includes framing youngpeople?s lack of political knowledge and self-confidence as the reason for their politicalexclusion. Even though the Youth Board (ungdomsstyrelsen) in Sweden officially views allyoung people as a resource, when youth politics are implemented through projects, this is notthe view that young people meet.

Då Sveriges samhälle blir allt mer mångkulturellt och vi får en mer mångkulturell skola, är det viktigt att pedagoger har en förståelse och är medvetna om de kulturella skillnaderna som kan uppstå i undervisningssituationer. Vi har valt att fokusera vår studie på flickor med muslimsk bakgrund och hur de upplever idrottsämnet. Ämnet innehåller många olika moment som kan upplevas som nya och främmande för dessa elever. Vi intervjuade även pedagoger för att se hur de arbetar med integrering och hur det hanterar eventuella bortfall från idrottslektionerna. Vår studie består både av en kvalitativ samt en kvantitativ del.

Syftet med undersökningen är att belysa en aspekt av det kommunala flyktingmottagandet nämligen boendet och hur flyktingen kommer att bo är en viktig del av integrationsprocessen av flyktingar när de kommer till ett nytt land och en kommun. Min uppsats fokuseras på, etnisk boendesegregation, integra¬tion samt främlingsfientlighet. Hur ser det kommunala flyktingmottagandet ut för flyktingar i en kommun?, Hur upplever flyktingar deras integration in i samhället?, Vad anser svenskar om boen¬desegregation och integration av flyktingar? Upplever svenskar och flyktingar boendesegregation i kommunen?, Kan boendesegregation vara en bi¬dragande orsak till främlingsfientlighet?. Studien bygger på en kvalitativ metod av fyra flyktingar och tre svenskar inklusive en offentlig person i en kommun i norra Sverige.

The aim of this thesis is to create an understanding of the incentives for forest companies to invest in reducing carbon dioxide emissions from deforestation and forest degradation, which is termed REDD. The Brazilian Amazonas was chosen as the base for the investment case. Brazil has the largest area of rainforest in the world, and also the biggest problem with deforestation. The Amazon region of Brazil comprises rainforest which is largely intact and unexploited. Accordingly, there is significant potential scope for prospective investments in a REDD-project, and so have a noteworthy impact in preventing deforestation.The research approach used the United Nation?s Clean Development Mechanism concept was used as a framework for ascertaining the investment costs in potential REDD-projects.

Cambodia is located in Southeast Asia with a tropical monsoon climate and distinctive wet and dry seasons. Poverty is a widespread problem in Cambodia and 30 percent of the population were classified as poor in 2009. About 80 percent of the populations live in rural areas where poverty is an even greater problem. In agriculture, rice cultivation is dominating and the crop is cultivated on 85 percent of the arable land. Livestock keeping is also a traditional part of Cambodian agriculture.
