This paper aims to derive the Black-Scholes equation for readers without advanced knowledge in finance and mathematics. To succeed, this paper contains a theoretical chapter in which concepts such as options, interest rate, differential equations and stochastic variable are explained. This paper also presents the theory of stochastic processes such as the Wiener process and Ito process. In the chapter on the Black-Scholes model the Ito process is used to describe price of shares and with the help of Ito's lemma Black-Scholes equation can be derived. In the paper, assumptions are listed that apply to the Black-Scholes model and then uses the Black-Scholes equation to calculate the price of a European call option.

The aim of this study was to describe and analyze the participation of immigrant organizations to the partnerships in the Equal program in Sweden. The focus of the study was on the significance of the participation for the organizations and its impact on them. The point of view of the participant organizations has been object of study through interviews with the persons who, on behalf of the organizations, have been in charge for the work with Equal. Interviews have been conducted with people representing 10 of the 21 immigrant organizations that have been identified among the Swedish Equal partners. Many organizations have experienced that the participation has strengthen the awareness of target groups about their needs and their possibilities.

Vårt syfte med denna studie är att titta på hur lärare uppfattar elevers motivation på gymnasienivå i ämnet idrott och hälsa. Därtill ska vi undersöka hur dagens lärare motiverar sina elever i undervisningen, samt titta på vilka faktorer som lärarna anser spelar roll för att motivera eleverna i ämnet. Vårt teoretiska perspektiv som vi utgår från i uppsatsen är Organismic Integration Theory, men vårt resultat av studien är även kopplad till andra relevanta begrepp. Urvalet gick ut på att vi kontaktade sex stycken idrott och hälsa-lärare som arbetar på gymnasiet, och frågade dem angående hur motivationen ser ut i gymnasieklasserna för tillfället. Resultatet vi kom fram till var att lärarna såg en stor spridning i motivation hos gymnasieeleverna, samt att det är flera faktorer som påverkar elevernas motivation i idrott och hälsa-undervisningen, där betyg och stimulans är huvudfaktorerna enligt lärarna.

Studiens syfte är att öka förståelse för muslimska minoritetsgruppers bakgrund, identitet, värdering och upplevelser.                                                                                                                                För att få svar på studiens syfte har jag intervjuat 5 muslimska respondenter.  Jag har använt mig av den hermeneutiska metoden och jag har använt mig av min förförståelse och intryck för att kunna tolka och förstå respondenternas upplevelser. Fem vetenskapliga artiklar har används i denna studie som behandlar olika fenomen omkring islam och muslimer i Kanada, Sverige, Tyskland och Norge. Artiklarna handlar om hur den muslimska slöjan bemöts, vad som ligger bakom negativa attityder mot muslimer, integration och segregation och diskriminering av muslimer. Två teoretiker som jag ansåg vara lämpliga för mitt arbete var Taylor och Abbasian, som framför vikten av erkännande och integration i samspel med varandra i samhället.Resultatet  i denna studie visar att respondenterna vill behålla sina muslimska värderingar och den egna identiteten.

The starting point for this study is the situation for immigrants during the process of integration. This study aims to describe and discuss, with a broad approach, if certain information needs arises when immigrants meet the Swedish labour market and in such a case, do they use the library and how does the public libraries meet those needs. A secondary aim is to help increase the understanding of immigrants and forming a basis for further efforts by the libraries to improve services for immigrants and point at areas where there is a need for further research. - Which expectations and demands meets immigrants on the labour market and which library needs are possibly generated by this? - What services and range of material do the libraries offer immigrants and how are they marketed at the libraries homepages on the Internet? - Do immigrants from outside the western culture use the library and in that case how? Swedish human capital and Swedish social capability are identified as demands that are often held by operators on the labour market.

SUMMARYInventory of raw materials holds an important role in companies within the manufacturingsector. The inventory works as a buffer that secure the supply of materials to the productionunit. The aim of the inventory is to ensure that the company is able to meet the customers?demands despite fluctuations and variations in the material flow. The size of the warehouseand the layout are physical limitations for the quantity of articles that can be stored.

The objective with this study is to investigate the school introduction of newly arrived students, by focusing on the latter years of high school, by comparing two schools method of working.This was done by a qualitative survey based on half structured interviews and existing school documentation.The questions of the study targeted the schools method of working, how well the education was adapted to the students and if it was appropriate to them. We also asked about the school resources to meet the need of the newly arrived students. Our theoretical assumptions were based on Haugs? terms ?including integration? and ?excluding integration?, Lahdenperäs? theory about intercultural education, Vygotskijs thoughts about adapted education and finally Blossings? description of different cooperative cultures. Our results showed that school introduction for newly arrived students were formed from the schools? view on learning development and adapted education.

Due to increasing international competition and new technology IT-consultants has been forced to oversee their business models lately. The main purpose of this study is to investigate the process and consequences of a shift in business model for a consultant by using a methodology based on action research. The empirical foundation consists of a field study with observations, notes, interviews and business related documents. The case describes a consultant?s process of shifting business model from profits based on man-hours to selling a standardized system.

The importance of good information security and safety grows larger and larger for each day in the information society of today. This concerns citizens, companies and public authorities. At the Swedish Transport Administration, the operation of an information security and safety process has evolved over the years to guarantee that the public authority can be trusted by its citizens, cooperating companies and other public authorities. This responsibility has been assigned to the Information Security and Safety Department (Informationssa?kerhetsavdelningen, ITsa?).In this thesis the aim is to review to what extent ITsa? achieves any business benefits for the Swedish Transport Administration, and to analyze, streamline and come up with solutions to improve their workflow.

The purpose of this essay is to examine how same-sex couples experience the second-parent adoption process. To assist us, we have used our questions: how do the couples describe their experiences of the adoption process? Which are the couples? stories about the experience of contact with the involved professionals? What are the opportunities and barriers for same-sex couples to start a family? How do the couples describe their experience of reactions from the community and society, and how do they think the future will look like for same-sex couples? This study has been achieved through a qualitative approach. The empirical data is based on seven semi-structured interviews with same-sex couples or pair members that want to or have had a second-parent adoption. The theory we have used for analyzing the results is phenomenology with focus on queer theory, heteronormativity, and power.

Abstract Iribarren Cortes, Laura & Lundh, Pernilla (2010) Vad gör en specialpedagog/speciallärare? ?What does a special educator do? Malmö: Lärarutbildningen, Malmö Högskola. Grunden för arbetet har varit att ta reda på vad en specialpedagog och en speciallärare gör. Frågeställningarna omfattar vad deras uppgifter är och vilka strävansmål de arbetar utifrån. Huvudsyftet med undersökningen är att ge läsaren en större inblick i vad en specialpedagog och speciallärare gör och även belysa hur deras arbetssätt och arbetsmetoder kan se ut och skilja sig åt. Syftet besvaras genom observation av två arbetsmiljöer inom den specialpedagogiska verksamheten samt intervjuer med en specialpedagog och en speciallärare.

The purpose of this essay was to find an understanding of what factors whichaffect refugee reception in two municipalities in the southern part of Sweden, themunicipality of Vellinge and the municipality of Landskrona. Three interviewswere made with three local politicians and these interviews were then analysedusing postcolonial theory. With the help of Matthew J. Gibney we identified sevenfactors which aided us in the analysis these were: Integration history, Ethnicaffinity, Determining who is a refugee, The wealth of the municipality, Thehousing market, The labour market and The action of other municipalities.We found that these factors were all useful in creating an understanding ofrefugee reception in the two municipalities. However they affected themunicipalities differently.

Syfte med studien är att öka kunskapen om undervisning utomhus för att variera klassrumsundervisning och integrera undervisning utomhus till en helhet. Ett strategiskt urval gjordes där intervjufrågor ställdes till pedagoger. Likheter och skillnader jämfördes mellan pedagoger som arbetar efter Friluftsfrämjandets pedagogiska idé ?I Ur och skur? och pedagoger som arbetar utan naturinriktning. I bakgrunden redogörs för hur elevaktiva metoder kan vara ett sätt för utom- och inomhusundervisning där inga tydliga gränser finns.

Under 2006 invandrade 473 personer till Bodens kommun. I samband med detta öppnade en integrationsenhet som ansvarar för att introducera invandrarna i samhället. Syftet med denna uppsats var att studera vilka integrationsåtgärder som erbjuds i kommunen, upplevelser av dessa samt om integrationsarbetet kan utvecklas. Stor del av materialet samlades in genom intervjuer med fyra personer som själva invandrat till Sverige samt med samordnaren för integrationsenheten. Informanterna har olika lång vistelsetid i Sverige.

Det finns många olika Data Mining-processer som kan tillämpas i ett Data Mining-projekt. Fördelen med att använda en Data Mining-process är att projektet blir strukturerat, processen kan hjälpa till att minska risker som annars kan uppstå och kan medföra att projektmålet förändras. Data Mining-processen som studien har undersökt är generell och studien försöker därmed precisera olika faser av processen, för att anpassas till ett prognostiseringsprojekt.Studien utvärderar den preciserade prognostiseringsprocessen genom att följa och dokumentera ett prognostiseringsprojekt på en tillverkningsindustri. Studien analyserar teoretiskt vilka implikationer tillverkningsindustrin kan möta och även om studiens framtagna process är tillämpningsbar i detta fall. Studien visar att det på en teoretisk nivå går att genomföra studiens preciserade Data Mining-process och visar även vilka risker som kan uppkomma om ett prognostiseringsprojekt inte följer en Data Mining-process..
