The aim of my study is to critically analyse the discourse behind two different integration projects in Sweden, by using post colonial theory. My hypothesis is that many projects intended for increased integration includes a view of immigrants as the ?Others? which can be seen in how one talks about integration and culture in the discourse behind integration projects.The first of these two projects aims at increased diversity in the cultural sphere, organized on at state level. The purpose of the second project is to increase the communication and results for schools in areas with a high rate of immigrants in Malmö. In my study I make a discourse analysis of the discourse behind these two projects and study how they are motivated and how one conceptualise culture and integration in these documents.

Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka hur ett HVB-hem för ensamkommande flyktingbarn i GÀvleborgs lÀn arbetar för att frÀmja ensamkommande flyktingbarns integration. Fokus i studien lÄg pÄ metoder och strategier samt svÄrigheter som verksamhetens företrÀdare upplever i sitt arbete. Metoden som anvÀndes var kvalitativ intervju och under arbetet hade författarna en hermeneutisk infallsvinkel och materialet analyserades utifrÄn systemteori. Resultatet visar metoder och strategier som berör trygghetsskapande, samhÀllsorientering och nÀtverksskapande. SvÄrigheterna berör till stor del balansen som de ensamkommande flyktingbarnen mÄste hitta mellan de erfarenheter de bÀr med sig och den situation de befinner sig i idag.

Syftet med arbetet Àr att ge exempel pÄ hur yrkesverksamma pedagoger och andra vuxna inom skolans vÀrld arbetar med integration och tolerans mellan elever frÄn olika kulturer. Detta ger vi ett antal exempel pÄ i litteraturgenomgÄngen och sedan kompletterar vi dessa exempel genom en empirisk undersökning, dÀr pedagoger och vuxna i skolans vÀrld intervjuades om hur de arbetar med integration.I litteraturgenomgÄngen ges ocksÄ en kortfattad överblick över hur invandrares situation i Sverige, gÀllande integration, har förÀndrats under de senaste 50-60 Ären och nÄgra olika typer av kulturkrockar.En kvalitativ undersökning genomfördes i form av intervjuer, som först spelades in pÄ band och som dÀrefter transkriberades och sammanfattades.Resultaten visar att man kan arbeta pÄ flera olika sÀtt för att öka toleransen mellan olika kulturer, bl.a. genom att arbeta med vÀrdegrundsfrÄgor och utvecklandet av sprÄkkunskaperna i svenska. VÄr tolkning Àr den att integration Àr ett omrÄde som man, behöver arbeta med i ett lÄngtidsperspektiv. Detta oavsett vilka nationaliteter som Àr representerade i barngruppen..

AbstractThe purpose for this essay has been to illuminate some teachers opinions of integration of students with Aspergers syndrom in the compulsory school, then compare it with the statue documents and see similarities and differences.The studie has been of a quality character, based on quality intervjues to get the teachers understanding at a deeper level. The questions in the intervju are based on open questions with purpose not to control the person during the intervju.The most obvious result which was that it appered two perspective of integration of students with Aspergers syndrom. One in the short run and one in the long run.In the long run it was the integration of the individual into the society and in the short run integration in school.For the perspective in the long run, the opinions from the teachers in compulsory school is good corresponding to the statue documents, that the integration is necessary for our democratic and human values that our sociaty are based on.In the short run, during the years when the students are in school, it came out great difficulties to integrate children with Aspergers syndrom. To proceed an integration that works out for the students, the teachers took site from the individual and not from the society. This essay is about the integration work in Helsingborg. It's main focus bases on the collaboration concerning the integration work, between the immigrant's organisations in Helsingborg and the municipality. It's also focusing on the results of the survey, Integrationsbarometer 2003, which was carried out in Helsingborg.We wanted to know if the results altered the integration work in the community. The results of the Integrationsbaometer 2003, proved, among other things, that the inhibitants of Helsingborg, regarded dwelling areas whith a large number of immigrants, as negatively, when they choose where to live. Finally, we wanted the politicians perspective of the integration work as well.We interviewed 6 informants in Helsingborg.

When migration to a country increases, the integration of the migrants becomes extra important for the host country?s society, economy and culture. In the last decade, Europe has faced several crises, such as the refugee crisis and the covid-19 pandemic, which has affected both migration and integration policy. The challenges that have characterized European society in recent years makes it interesting to study how the measures highlighted by the European Commission to integrate migrants has developed. Therefore, the paper aims to compare the Commission?s action plans for integration published in 2016 and 2020 based on the threat theory and the contact theory to see how both perspectives can contribute to understanding the differences between the years and which theory is best suited to understand the Commission?s current visions of integration.

Integration is a phenomena that occurs in all societies that experience any form of immigration. This paper exposes the problems and challenges organizations face when integrating aged systems, web based systems and web services. The paper focuses on how people with different titles in an organization experience systems integration and the factors that contribute to project failure or success. The research methodology used in this is Grounded Theory and the resulting theory of this paper has taken form through the coding of transcribed interviews, which have gone through a constant comparing to other theories in the area of interest, mostly articles about success factors in system integration. The resulting outcome is a success model aimed to describe the underlying indicators to achieve project success.The success model consists of three factors that contribute to success in integration projects. The aim with this paper is to study how the integrational ideology of the Swedish parliaments party platforms, including the right wing Sverigedemokraterna, is formulated. The integration theories examined are assimilationism, multiculturalism, universalism and residualism. In turn these theories are simultaneously applied to the party platforms extracting explicit or implicit messages of the four former mentioned theories. The Swedish history of integration as well as immigration, which per capita is one of the highest in the European union, pinpoints the reason why this subject is due to further investigation. The results show that most of the parties contain traces of more than one integration theory, with the exception of primarily Sverigedemokraterna which focuses on assimilationism.

The numbers of mergers and acquisitions have increased significantly in the last period of time. Although this popularity for mergers and acquisitions, most of the mergers and acquisitions fail to create value. One explanation to this failure of value creation is, according to several studies, how companies treat integration of information systems in the pre-merger evaluation. The research within the field argues that information system integration should have a proactive role in mergers and acquisitions, meaning that information system integration should support the organizational change and normally be considered in the premerger evaluation. The aim of this thesis is to study issues that affect whether companies choose to consider information system integration proactively, when involved in mergers and acquisitions.

I denna studie behandlas olika teorier kring barn och ungdomars sociala utveckling och lÀrande i integration med djur. Vidare exemplifierar studien hur detta arbete med djur kan bedrivas. Undersökningen innefattar ocksÄ vad högskoleutbildade pedagoger i förskolan och skolan har för attityder kring att integrera djur i den pedagogiska verksamheten. För att ta reda pÄ detta har vi anvÀnt oss av fÀltstudier baserade pÄ observationer, protokoll, intervjuer, och samtal.. I denna studie har Àven en enkÀtundersökning genomförts i syfte att ta reda pÄ attityder kring integration mellan barn/ungdomar och djur.

The purpose of this thesis is to investigate how a public library, as an information center and a meeting place, may contribute to bring Swedes and immigrants closer to one another, which is a prerequisite for integration. To realize this purpose, I have asked three questions. Which conditions and demands are stated in central documents for libraries immigrant activities? What do the library called Biblioteket VĂ€sters multicultural activities contain? How does the library conceive its object to strengthen immigrants identity so that its activities, contribute to integration? As method, I have used hermeneutics, which means that I have interpreted the thesis material. In the theory I have described relevant literature and confirmed the importance of identity, language and the majoritys acknowledgement for integration.

The aim of this master thesis is to study the integration in Sweden between forestry and bulky industries as fiber- and sawmilling companies. The analysis is based on theories about transaction cost economies and competitive strategy. The studied companies are active on the Swedish roundwood market. The buying actors on this market were divided into two groups; fiber- and sawmill industries. Three companies from each group were chosen subjectively by the author.
