Hälso- och sjukvårdspersonalen kommer allt oftare i kontakt med människor från andra delar av världen. I mötet med invandrare är det viktigt att observera kulturella skillnader, referensramar och värderingar som tidigt kan omöjliggöra vidare behandling. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att beskriva invandrares upplevelse av bemötande inom hälso- och sjukvården i ett mångkulturellt samhälle. Tolv vetenskapliga artiklar analyserades med kvalitativ innehållsanalys med manifest ansats. Analysen resulterade i fyra kategorier: Att få uppmärksamhet och engagemang, att känna sig försummad och ignorerad, att kommunikation är bristande, att vårdgivare saknar kunskap om andra kulturer.

I vår undersökning studerar vi sambandet mellan de sociala nätverken och invandrares situation på arbetsmarknaden. Vi undersöker vilken effekt de sociala nätverken har för en matchning mellan utbildnings- och yrkesnivå för svenska invandrare. Vår uppfattning är att det inte bara är viktigt att individerna är i arbetskraften utan att det även är av stor vikt att de har yrken efter deras kompetens. Av denna anledning bygger vi vår studie på en modell som har matchningen mellan utbildningsnivå och yrkesnivå som beroende variabel. Denna direkta koppling mellan utbildning och yrke har inte tidigare varit i fokus när det kommer till studier kring integration och betydelsen av sociala nätverk.

Integration is a phenomena that occurs in all societies that experience any form of immigration. This process is dependent on how we analyze, both the groups of immigrants, and how we analyze the society in which they becoming integrated.Intersectionality is one method of analyzing this framework. By applying the categories: gender, class and race on the integration process, we get a more complex picture of the subject. Denna uppsats ämnar att studera den integrationskritiska tidningen Gringos syn på etnicitet samt integrationsrelaterade problem. The aim with this paper is to study how the integrational ideology of the Swedish parliaments party platforms, including the right wing Sverigedemokraterna, is formulated. The integration theories examined are assimilationism, multiculturalism, universalism and residualism. In turn these theories are simultaneously applied to the party platforms extracting explicit or implicit messages of the four former mentioned theories. The Swedish history of integration as well as immigration, which per capita is one of the highest in the European union, pinpoints the reason why this subject is due to further investigation. The results show that most of the parties contain traces of more than one integration theory, with the exception of primarily Sverigedemokraterna which focuses on assimilationism.

The numbers of mergers and acquisitions have increased significantly in the last period of time. Although this popularity for mergers and acquisitions, most of the mergers and acquisitions fail to create value. One explanation to this failure of value creation is, according to several studies, how companies treat integration of information systems in the pre-merger evaluation. The research within the field argues that information system integration should have a proactive role in mergers and acquisitions, meaning that information system integration should support the organizational change and normally be considered in the premerger evaluation. The aim of this thesis is to study issues that affect whether companies choose to consider information system integration proactively, when involved in mergers and acquisitions.

The purpose of this thesis is to investigate how a public library, as an information center and a meeting place, may contribute to bring Swedes and immigrants closer to one another, which is a prerequisite for integration. To realize this purpose, I have asked three questions. Which conditions and demands are stated in central documents for libraries immigrant activities? What do the library called Biblioteket Västers multicultural activities contain? How does the library conceive its object to strengthen immigrants identity so that its activities, contribute to integration? As method, I have used hermeneutics, which means that I have interpreted the thesis material. In the theory I have described relevant literature and confirmed the importance of identity, language and the majoritys acknowledgement for integration.

Kommunikationsproblem utgör ett hinder för vårdpersonalen att skapa bra vårdrelationer till invandrarpatienter. Vårdpersonal känner att deras behov av att få information om andra kulturer har ökat. Syfte: Syftet med studien var att undersöka hur vårdpersonal i Norden upplever mötet med invandrare inom hälso- och sjukvården.

Funktionsinriktad musikterapi (FMT) är en musikterapimetod som används för att stödja individen i dennes utveckling oavsett ålder och funktionsnivå. I examensarbetet analyseras på vilket sätt FMT kan stödja barn med autism i deras utveckling. Hur kan sensorisk integration hos dessa barn stimuleras i FMT? Av fallbeskrivningarna framgår det att de två barn som fick FMT båda har visat tecken på positiva förändringar inom samverkan/kommunikation, motivation, språkutveckling, perception och rörelsekoordination. Sensorisk integration ingår i alla dessa moment och det är därför svårt urskilja den som en separat funktion.

The underlying purpose of this study is to investigate how the libraries in Sweden organize and administrate the service of providing literature in other languages than Swedish. The study focuses on the central guiding principles that regulate the provision of multilingual literature and how these guidelines are implemented in to practice at the libraries. As the guidelines are closely connected to the official discourse in Sweden concerning policies targeted towards immigrants, the guidelines will be examined from a perspective of integration politics. To assemble data a survey has been conducted looking into factors such as how the libraries perceive the guidelines, how the libraries do business intelligence and user inquires to reach out to the users of the multilingual media, forms for statistics and method of working. The results points out that the libraries in their work with multilingual media are confronted with three tensions; the first tension is that between the libraries aim to promote equality and freedom for the individual and at the same time to fulfil certain collective interests and goals.

As scholars argue, there has been a rapid diffusion of civic integration policies in Western Europe the last decade. In the light of the debate about the extent of civic integration policies, recent studies have shown that the diffusion is limited to certain countries. Despite a flurry of literature based on civic integration policies, attention drawn to the implication of these policies has been quite inferior. This paper tries to examine what civic integration policies means in relation to immigration. Are civic integration policies used as an informal tool for the purpose of limiting certain groups of immigrants? I argue in this paper that the conditional factor in the civic integration policies creates a barrier for affected immigrants and their possibilities to gain long term residence.

Companies will increasingly begin to link their applications, and the technology that makesthis possible is called integration. The more applications that are connected, the more of the company's data flows through these integrations. It is also clear that data analyses to create business value and to get competitive advantages against its competitors are important. In this paper, we examine how companies create business value and competitive advantages throughthe integration platforms and metadata from the integrations. We have interviewedpeople from three companies in the industrial sector, each with an integration platform.We have also interviewed Enfo Zystems, a company that provides development andmanagement of integration platforms to these customers.

Syftet med uppsatsen var att undersöka om äldre invandrare som bor på vårdboende i Malmö hade ett behov av språkanpassad äldreomsorg. Kvalitativa intervjuer utfördes med vårdtagare med utländsk härkomst och vårdpersonal som arbetade med vårdtagarna. Målgruppen var äldre invandrare med utländsk härkomst som bor på vårdboende samt personal som arbetar med dem. Frågeställningarna handlade om det fanns kommunikationsproblem mellan de äldre invandrade vårdtagarna och personalen samt om de upplevde ett behov av språkanpassad äldreomsorg. Resultatet av studien visade att det finns ett behov av språkanpassad äldreomsorg hos informanterna.
