Today there is an even higher demand on IT-projects success rate compared to a few years ago. IT-projects must be handled more efficiently and result in a more profitable investment. In order to make the handling of IT-projects more efficient and create profitability the developers must have a broad understanding of the IT-projects characteristics and which factors that affect the result of the projects. Changes within IT-projects are often carried out through the development of a system. Since this change is more common when it comes to IT-projects it is important to handle risk and change within these kinds of projects in order to prevent and avoid uncontrolled changes.

It has in a broader extent become important for companies and other organizations with large organizations to have a properly functioning web platform where content management is an essential part. Polopoly is a web content management system developed in Sweden, used by several European corporations but foremost Scandinavian such working in different media related business areas.Our aim has been to analyze this tool and render a report which hopefully will assist the initiator of our thesis; a consulting enterprise called Qurius, in their negotiations with future customers, when to suggest Polopoly as a suitable content management solution.By using case studies at companies currently using Polopoly, our goal is to define which characteristic makes the product a competitive publishing tool. To put our analysis in perspective, we will compare the most important aspects of Polopoly with a similar product.According to the results of our investigation we consider Polopoly being a beneficial choice with regard to a number of important parameters. Finally we have summarized these properties in a list of examples explaining in which cases Polopoly is a preferable alternative as a web based content management platform..

AbstractThe future of ethanol is depending on good solutions for the production. ENA energy power plant produces electrical power and district heating by heating biofuel. By building an integrated bioenergy plant surplus steam could be used to produce ethanol as fuel to vehicle.This would mean that ethanol is produced renewable energy and the energy for the process derives from the surplus of power.  ENA energy, MDH (the University of Mälardalen) and the energy authority has initiated a research project were different bioenergy combinations integrate with existing power plant.  As a part of the project which size an integrated factory should be to gain the best efficiency for the plant was investigated. The purpose of this essay is to examine how four Swedish retail companies describe their information management in connection to ethical trade. My purpose is also to examine how this information management relates to organizational learning. My questions at issue are ? ?Which activities related to information management in connection to ethical trade is described by the companies?? and ?How can these activities and statements be related to organizational learning?? My method of investigation is to perform qualitative interviews with representatives from the retail companies and relate the results to theories on information management and organizational learning, mainly theories of double-loop- and single-loop learning. The information management literature address issues such as information needs, information sources and information seeking.

We conducted 10 semi-structured interviews with first line managers in Swedish public healthcare organizations. A result is reached by a thematically constructed analysis were citations are presented and analyzed. Result & Conclusions: The study shows through the model that has been used that first line managers are highly affected by administrative tasks that can be linked to New Public Management. The participant managers see these related tasks as important for the organizations and natural in their profession. Contribution of the thesis: The study contributes with an increased understanding of the managing of first line managers and how it is affected by New Public Management related administration through a perspective that is lacking in previous research. Regelverket innebar att banker skullehålla ett visst minimikapital för att skydda sig mot risker. Det visade sig dock att regelverketinte gav ett fullständigt skydd mot risk, vilket ledde fram till ett reviderat regelverk, Basel 2.Operativa risker har blivit allt vanligare på senare år bland annat tillföljd av globaliseringen.Det nya regelverket innebär att operativ risk liksom kreditrisk och marknadsrisk har blivit enegen riskkategori. De metoder som används för att kvantifiera operativ risk är fortfarande iinledningsfasen. Detta ihop med att det är en svår gränsdragning av begreppet operativ risk tillandra risker, gör det till ett relevant område att studera.

En stor förändring var att företagen, istället för Finansinspektionen, skulle ta fram många av de antaganden som behövs vid beräkningen av de förmånsbestämda pensionsplanerna. Dessa antaganden kan ha en stor påverkan på företagens finanservilket innebär en risk att de används i earnings management-syfte.Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka huruvida ett företags finansiella situation påverkar dess val av aktuariella antaganden vid beräkningen av de förmånsbestämda pensionsplanerna.De kvantitativa data som undersökningen bygger på insamlades frånårsredovisningar från 75 koncerner av ett ursprungligt urval av 272. Det material som hämtades utgjordes av aktuariella antaganden samt andra finansiella variabler som rapporterades i årsredovisningarna för år 2004 och 2005.

Studien hade en beskrivande ochjämförande design med kvantitativ ansats. Datat inhämtades från kvalitetsregistret Senioralert. Deltagarna i studien utgjordes av 341 personer från en kommun i Mellansverige.Resultatet visade att 41,9 % hade risk för eller var undernärda enligt MNA-SF. BMI <22poäng hade 23,5 %.

Abstract Integrated mental training is a method that entails a systematic and long-term training of mental processes (thoughts, images, emotions) that aims to enhance performance as well as gratify feelings and improve thought processes. This training develops an alternative system of control by using substitute state of consciousness and self-hypnosis. The method is concerned with both mindfulness and performance approaches, which is crucial in order to feel and function better. The intent of this study is to highlight the experience of the different steps of integrated mental training to gain an understanding of how, where, and when changes occur. To achieve the objective of this study, a qualitative empirical method was used.
