Denna uppsats syftar till att redogöra för den institutionella utveckling som skett i Kina under mellan år 2002-2008 och ta reda på hur svenska företag inom telekombranschen påverkas av den nya institutionella kontexten. För att undersöka Kinas ekonomiska, politiska och sociala institutionella utveckling och se effekterna hos svenska företag gjordes en statistisk jämförelse av institutionella faktorer mellan åren 2002 och 2008 samt företagsintervjuer med tre svenska företag i Shanghai under februari 2009. Resultatet visar att det blivit avsevärt dyrare för utländska företag att verka i Kina som resultat av många institutionella förändringar som skett de senaste åren, bl.a. har många incitament för utländska bolag slopats och marknaden är nu mer rättvis mellan utländska och inhemska företag. Undersökningen visar även på en fortsatt långsam utveckling av politiska och sociala faktorer såsom korruption, patentskydd och byråkratisk kvalitet.

When different type of programs are developed one wants to make these adjustable to future changes and requirements. It must be done a good design of the program from the beginning to make it possible to continue development of it without having to redo big parts of it to high costs. In the area of object orientation there are design pattern, which can be used to design systems that can be adjusted to new changes in an easier way. I have in this thesis chosen to take a closer look at how to design a program that sends SMS to cell phones through a system of an operator. One requirement on the program is that it has to be possible to change what operator to send though in an easy way.

We have done research and empirical studies. We have analyzed movies to get an idea how we use the sound design in Swedish drama productions today. Syfte: Författarnas strävan är att göra en explorativ studie av vilka faktorer som påverkar hur svenska företag agerar i offentliga upphandlingsprocesser av infrastruktur i Kina. Författarna avser att öka kunskapen om offentliga upphandlingsprocesser i Kina och analysera huruvida eventuella särdrag existerar utifrån tre valda perspektiv; det juridiska perspektivet, det formella perspektivet och det informella perspektivet. Metod: Studien är av explorativ karaktär, med utgångspunkt i det hermeneutiska forskningsidealet. Studien är av kvalitativ art och utgörs av djupintervjuer med två fallföretag och fyra experter inom området. Existerande teorier inom företagsekonomi, främst inom strategisk ledning och institutionell teori, appliceras av författarna på det empiriska materialet.

This degree project is a realization of a strategy for collaboration between an industrial designer and employed workmen of a producing company. The collaboration aims to engage everyone involved in the co-authorship of a products design and manufacturing history. This is a study of how emotional engagement can be measured and be taken into account in the development of websites. We believe that emotions become relevant only when viewed in correlation to how users experiencing a webpage. In this study, we developed a tool for use together with user tests where the information about the user's emotional engagement can add new value to the evaluation. The tool allows the user to mark, on the website, his/her emotions and level of engagement represented by colored circles, generating quantiative data on how users feel about the website. The tool is part of a method for evaluating the emotional engagement that we have developed which consists of user testing supported by the tool and accompanied by interviews..

The purpose of this master thesis has been to find different solutions to the design of a headlamp with a cluster of three or possibly four high power LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes). During the work, two different problems have been considered; how to design a lens in order to shape the light beam in a desirable way, and how to design a cooling system which will lower the temperature of the LEDs as efficiently as possible, still taking into account the geometry set by the optical solution as well as other given geometries.
