Syftet med denna studie är att utvärdera ett HVB-hem vilket bedriver miljö- och individualte-rapeutisk behandling av ungdomar i åldrarna 16-19 år. Vidare syftar studien till att utvärdera verksamhetens arbetssätt vid kritiska händelser enligtcritical incident-metoden. Således fin-ner författarna följande frågeställningar relevanta för utvärderingen: Vilka slags kritiska hän-delser uppstår i verksamheten enligt personalens upplevelser? Hur löses/slutar de kritiska händelserna i verksamheten? Är lösningarna av de kritiska händelserna förankrade i miljöte-rapeutisk teori? Utvärderingen grundas i uppgifter från nio respondenter, varav en av respondenterna är utvärderingens författare. Datainsamlingen utgörs i sin tur av observationer, frågeformulär och kompletterande intervjuer.

This examination work is performed at the Institution of industrial economy and production at Jonkoping technical university, for JELD-WEN Door Solutions plant in Forserum.Today the focus in the company is on to reduce their inventories binding of capitals as well as inventory of products and that includes to get a good control of the supply and handling of material which is of great importance.JELD-WEN Door Solutions is one of the worlds leading producers of windows and doors and the head-office is located in Oregon, USA.A great number of wooden doors are manufactured by the company in varying of constructions, classifications and performance.The production of the plant in Forserum has a project- and customer focus manufacturing where only internal doors are produced. The overall market they are concentrated on is to different Institution such as schools, hospitals etc.The purpose of this work is to investigate possibilities to improvement of material- and production control at JELD-WEN. The report will handle the master production schedule to and from the production divisions within manufacturing industry. Focus will be on the way for information- and material flows from arrival, transport within the company and further on to customers.Further a map of the flow was performed which gave a clearer picture of the connection between the flow of information- and material for the manufacturing process. On the basis of the mapping of the flow, the group discovered that the flow of material had some improvement potential.

Uppsatsen grundar sig på en diskursanalytisk undersökning av det hälsofrämjande arbetets struktur och förhållningssätt ur ett sociologiskt perspektiv. Fyra olika verksamheter som på ett eller annat sätt arbetar med hälsofrämjande verksamhet har undersökts, Socialdepartementet, Folkhälsoinstitutet(Fhi), Hälsofrämjande Sjukhus(Hfs) samt Södra Älvsborgs Sjukhus(SÄS). Jag utförde även en undersökning på individnivå, där anställda på SÄS fick uttrycka åsikter och tankar om hälsa och hälsofrämjande arbete. Syftet med uppsatsen var att undersöka den sociologiska forskningens inverkan och roll inom det hälsofrämjande arbetet.Det hälsofrämjande arbetet är uppbyggt kring tvärvetenskaplig forskning men fokuset på hur detta ska implementeras i individers vardag har fokus på det samhällsvetenskapliga. Sociologiska begrepp och perspektiv ges utrymme i diskurser och de sociala behoven uppmärksammas och bidrar till utvecklingen.

I Bergs kommun startades år 2003 ett öppenvårdsprojekt då kommunen märkte av en påtaglig ökning av barn och unga som var i behov av socialtjänstens insatser. Denna verksamhet kom att heta Bergssprängarna. Mitt syfte var från början att jämföra de barn och unga som blivit föremål för placering på Institution och familjehem och de som fått insats genom Bergssprängarna för att se om grupperna var likvärdiga och jämföra kostnaderna för respektive verksamhet. Men under arbetes gång har syftet förändrats då jag inte fått tillgång till de ekonomiska underlagen som skulle belysa varje individs totala kostnad för respektive insats. Därför redovisas endast grova kostnadsunderlag.

Av flera anledningar har i många länder mål för prisstabilitet ersatt den aktiva stabiliseringspolitiken där mål för nationalprodukt och sysselsättning stått i centrum. Centralbanker bedriver och har bedrivit penningpolitik för att uppnå prisstabilitet på olika sätt och det ärdenna fråga som står i fokus i denna uppsats. Detta aktualiseras ytterligare då den europeiska centralbanken (ECB) är i ett startskede vad det gäller att bedriva penningpolitik med prisstabilitet som primärt mål. I detta perspektiv är det av intresse att studera Bundesbank närmare då denna under relativt lång tid bedrivit penningpolitik inriktad på prisstabilitet. För att belysa frågan om penningpolitik har, efter en teoretisk presentation, en empirisk studie av Bundesbank genomförts.

This Master's thesis aims to investigate librarians' identity construction through the study of their narratives about themselves and their lives. We want to understand in what way the education in Library- and Information science contributes to shape the students professional identity and how these identities then continue to be transformed when they enter their professional lives. We assert that this construction of identity takes place through socialisation. We start with the reference work because we think this is a central part of librarians' tasks. Our theoretical starting point is constructionism, we mean that professional identity is a social construction that continuously is formed and transformed.We interviewed six former students at Library- and Information science at Lund University.

This paper treats George Dickies Institutional theory of how to define art. Some alternative theories and their originators are also introduced. According to Dickie something is art because it has been created against a background of an already existing artworld. Dickie has formulated his theory in two different versions, ?the earlier? and ?the later?, which differ somewhat in their design.

The aim of this bachelor-thesis is to study how postgraduates approach open access during times of change within scholarly communication. Our theoretical framework is based upon Knorr Cetinas epistemic cultures and Cullen & Chawners theory that there is a paradigmatic conflict within scholarly communication due to the fact that open access has failed to reach the same level of prominence among researchers as it has within research libraries. We interviewed six postgraduates at Malmö högskola in order to find answers to our research questions. We identified a shared epistemic culture among the postgraduates, which can be explained by the fact that being postgraduates, they all share similar experiences and values. We chose to call this epistemic culture the horizontal epistemic culture.

In Sweden there are many kinds of effort given youths with behavioral problems, one is Institutional care. International research display a varying kind of results from this type of treatment. The aim of this study is to examine and illustrate which central components that results in positive treatment, but also starighten important components in KBT. On the basis of research results, important components for positive treatment have been illustrated as; the therapeutic relationship, the integrity of treatment, prosocial-contacts, positive climate in treatment, the continual of treatment, how to bring treatment to an end, the responsivity principle-the principle of need-the risk principle, learning and KBT.  Research also aims to investigate whether these components could be identified in the daily work of youth treatment on Institution. This through a qualitative approach including six interviews held with staff working in treatment facilities.

The background of this study stemmed from the notion that the majority of homeless women with substance abuse, most of all, wanted a secured place of their own to stay. Few involved professionals agreed and instead of perceiving housing as a human right the women were mostly offered various types of short-term social housing. The purpose of this study was thus to examine and analyze how professionals attached to the social services and public housing companies in Gothenburg explained that homeless women with substance abuse were excluded from accommodation on the open housing market. The qualitative approach included ten interviews with eleven professionals in Gothenburg. The theoretical framework consisted mainly of Bourdieu's analytical concepts of field, doxa as well as social, economic and cultural, alongside symbolic capital.

As the way of communicating and accessing information has changed radically over thepast decade so has the way the public libraries operate to reach the citizens. In thesetimes the demands of what a public library should be and offer the visitors havechanged. One should have the option to access the digital public library at any givenhour of the day, from anywhere in the world and at least have the same possibilities ofinformation as the visitors at the non-digital, "real" library.In this Master's thesis we will analyze and discuss the condition of the Swedish digitalpublic library of today, 2006, and the forward thinking work with the issues ofdevelopment in this matter. In order to do this we set out to examine the attitudetowards the public digital library among the staff at a small number of Swedish publiclibraries and their supporting Institution, the county library. Moreover, the attitudesdefined have been compared to the actual status of the services and medias at the publiclibrary websites.In conclusion, we have detected a certain standardization of what the digital publiclibrary consists of today.

Syftet med mitt projekt är att med arkitekturens synliggöra detta utbredda samhällsproblem. Genom att föreslå en egen byggnad i övrig stadsbebyggelse för dessa specifika brottsoffer så visar jag att problemet finns samtidigt som jag också meddelar kvinnorna att de brottsoffer med en sådan juridisk status och att de inte behöver gömma sig utan kan bo säkert inne i staden..
