Offshoreindustrin på Nordsjön sysselsätter ett stort antal offshorefartyg med olika uppdrag för att stödja produktionen av olja och gas. Prospektering av nya oljefyndigheter, bogsering av Installationer och att förse Installationer med förnödenheter är några av de uppgifter offshorefartyg utför.För att genomföra arbetsuppgifter säkert, använder offshorefartyg och Installationer sig av North West European Area Guidelines. Riktlinjer för hur arbeten skall utföras säkert och för att undvika olyckor som kan skada både människa, miljö och ekonomi.Kollisioner mellan offshorefartyg och Installationer sker ändå, med varierande konsekvenser. Syftet med detta examensarbete är att ta reda på vad som sker på bryggan, ombord på ett offshorefartyg när det skall utföra arbete intill en Installation. Rapporten är tänkt att ligga till grund för framtida arbeten som syftar till att öka säkerheten inom branschen.Som datainsamlingsmetod har gruppintervjuer utformade som fokusgrupper använts.

The aim of this report was to do a case study at a geothermal heating system which has been in operation for about 5 years, and study if its performance has changed during this period of time. A literature study about the processes involved was also done in purpose of background knowledge.The tenant-owner?s association Duvan at Petterslundsgatan in Uppsala installed year 1999-2000 a geothermal heating system. The purpose of this Installation was that they hoped it would lead to a smaller usage of district heating which would lead to a reduction of the heating expenses for their buildings. The geothermal heating system consists of 19 energy wells and 4 geothermal heat pumps, and it is one of the first systems of that size in the region of Uppsala.

This thesis project has focused on studying ÅF?s business concept Energy Collaboration, which is their way of selling energy efficiency services. Thereforeongoing projects have been analyzed. The purpose was to determine achieved energy efficiency, costs and profitability for the studied projects. It was concluded that the Energy Collaboration is a good way of selling energy efficiency services, since the customer takes no risk and energy savings of about 15-25 % can be achieved with simple measures.

To be able to handle tomorrows need for limited energy consumption we need to reduce our use of energy. The building sector stands for around 40 % of all energy consumption in the society. The government has put up a goal to reduce the energy consumption in our buildings with 20 % by year 2020 and 50 % by year 2050 compared with year 1995. To be able to do reach that goal we need a more energy efficient building stock.The main part of the energy used in our buildings is used for space heating. By installing ventilation systems with heat recovery on the exhaust air it is possible to use the heat-energy in the exhaust air to warm up the incoming air.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka varför få svenska kommunerna valt att installera DNSSEC på sina domäner. DNS är en av de viktigaste protokollen på Internet och behövs för att sammanlänka IP-adresser med mer lättförståeliga adresser för oss människor. DNS skapades utan att tänka på säkerheten, för att kunna göra DNS säkrare utvecklades ett säkerhetstillägg till DNS detta fick namnet DNSSEC.Vi har använt oss av litteraturstudie, experiment och intervjuer för att skapa en djupare kunskap och förståelse om hur DNS och DNSSEC fungerar samt besvara varför få kommuner har valt att installera DNSSEC.Under vår litteraturstudie läste vi om flera sårbarheter i DNS och hur dessa kan utnyttjas för att utsätta en organisation för attacker såsom cacheförgiftning och MITM. Vi testade dessa sårbarheter och bekräftade det. Efter Installationen av DNSSEC kunde inte angreppen längre genomföras i vår testmiljö.Under intervjuerna kom vi fram till att den vanligaste orsaken att kommuner inte väljer att installera DNSSEC är okunskap om tillvägagångsättet för en Installation och att de tycker deras nuvarande DNS fungerar bra, det blir då ingen prioriterad fråga.

Energy efficiency is important both to reduce costs and to reduce greenhouse gas in the atmosphere. In Sweden 40 percent of the energy consumption is related to the buildings sector. Hospitals are complex buildings with different activities in the same building, which requires flexible technical systems for ventilation, heating and lightning. A quarter of the total energy consumption in Swedish hospitals is related to user activities in the hospitals. Therefore it is not only important to work with operational optimization but also to change user activities, to reduce energy consumption.The objective of this thesis was to examine the user-related energy efficiency work at two care units, at the central hospital in Sundsvall within Västernorrlands County.

In my project, Cups on the run, I have studied the relationship between ceramic utility objects and different environments, when moving them off the table. My background as a potter has been the starting point. From there, I wanted to see if I could expand my craft to the space beyond. With the cup, which for most people has a clear function and a relation to us human, in repetitive structure I explored the spatiality and architecture in various environments. The energy that the earth receives from the sun hourly has potential to cover a year?s energy demand in the world. Further, this type of energy is environmentally friendly, natural and free of cost. This report covers solar energy in an urban environment and consists of a case study of Installations of photovoltaic cells in a part of the city of Stockholm. It is mainly the economic aspects that are covered but there is also a discussion about the practical consequences and the sustainability as a result of integration of solar energy in an urban environment. The aim of the study is to present results from economic calculations for utilization of solar energy in chosen buildings in Kungsholmen in Stockholm.

The work covered in this report includes a literature study of the diesel dual fuel technology(hereinafter referred to as DDF). The literature study covers earlier work that has been doneregarding the use of compressed natural gas (CNG) and diesel in a DDF system. Moreover a onecylinder research diesel engine was fitted with a CNG fuel system for experimental testing. TheInstallation of the engine and the test cell is described. Results from the tests are presentedcovering emissions, heat release and pressure traces from the DDF-concept.During the literature study it was found that most research was related to heavy duty dieselengines.

Today?s electrical grid companies understand that better knowledge of and information about their grid can help realize a smart grid network. One way to gain better knowledge and information about the low voltage network is to install measuring equipment on the substation transformer´s secondary low voltage side that measures the low voltage network losses for that specific substation. By doing so, grid companies can, due to the calculation of the low voltage network losses, identify and address issues such as illegal power dissipation, unmeasured power outtakes, and unsatisfied technical documentation for the substations low voltage network.During 2012, Mälarenergi Elnät AB had a total electrical network loss (both medium and low voltage network losses included) of three to four percent of their total distributed electrical volume. Converting this energy volume into a monetary figure this accounts for a loss of around 30 million Swedish crowns.

Fastighetsbolaget Klövern AB förvaltar 45 fastigheter i Karlstad kommun. Med stigande energipriser ökar behovet för Klövern att energieffektivisera sina fastigheter för att minska kostnaderna. Rapportens syfte är att undersöka tre av Klövern utvalda fastigheter med hög energiförbrukning. Målet är att presentera energibesparande åtgärder för Klövern att använda som beslutsunderlag för framtida investeringar. För åtgärdsförslagen görs LCC-analyser för att undersöka om de är lönsamma.

Cellular IP är ett nytt nätverksprotokoll på ingång som är tänkt att lösa prestandaproblemen i Mobile IP. Influenser har tagits från hur mobiltelefonnäten är uppbyggda för att lösa problemen med förflyttning mellan basstationer på ett smidigt sätt. Detta examensarbete syftade till att optimera routingfunktionen i ett Cellular IP nätverk och integrera det med Mobile IP. I uppgiften ingick också att installera och om nödvändigt modifiera befintlig kod för Linux Mandrake. Rapporten innehåller dokumentation för Installation och konfiguration av protokollet samt all nödvändig programvara.
