The purpose of my essay is towrite about newly qualified elementary teachers during their first professional experience and their opinions of a teacher's identity. My interest is a result of that I myself am studying to be a teacher and am reaching the end of my studies.My purpose is mainly to examine how teachers first experience their role and if their education helped them resolve any problems they had. My aim was also to examine what the teacher?s identity and role and the question of leadership means for new teachers?I have used a qualitative interview method.The results showed that new teachers experience difficulties and that their training does not prepare them sufficiently. The results also showed that the teacher?s identity, the teacher?s role and leadership are factors that grow with time and experience in the teaching role and that it is not something that the beginner teachers acquire during their education. I have achieved a clearer picture of what to expect and how to enter into the role of teacher with support and time..

AbstractThe purpose of this essay is to investigate the views Swedish elementary school teachers produce on the subject of ethics. The teachers? thoughts on selection among ethical notions is described and also how these notions are assessed. The essay proceeds from the central content and the knowledge requirement in the syllabus of religious knowledge.The empirical survey is based on qualitative scientific interviews with four teachers employed in grades 4-6 at different schools.The teachers find ethics in its current state of the syllabus hard to define and they find encounters with parents and pupils difficult in their tasks. The selection of ethics is decided by previously planned basic values education or from conflicts erupting during schools hours.

The cause of fibromyalgia has long been unknown but recent studies has shown that disturbance in the central pain modulation may be the cause. The aim of the study was to examine what kind of physiotherapy and close related treatment methods in the treatment of fibromyalgia there are and to determine their evidence. Articles were obtained by searching through the databases PubMed, Academic Search, AMED/Webspirs, CINAHL/webspirs and PEDro for articles published from 1994 and ten years forward. The study was based on thirty articles that met the criteria for inclusion. To assess the quality of the clinical studies the SBU?s evaluation model was used.

This empirical work and base has been to analyze the government?s investigation (SOU 2008:27): the future road ? a reformed high school, which led to the high school reform that the Swedish government introduced as proposition (2008/09:199) about: Higher demand and quality within the high school. Skolverket (part of the Swedish government) has worked with the development of this steering document within their own mission Gy2011 in connection with the high schools during the transition. The reform comes into effect 1 of July 2011. This led to the main purpose to ask questions what high school principals and teachers think of the reform and to what extent it effects the high school programs, the examination system, what impact they see on the individual and the demand from society, and to some extent what the respondent´s answers about the government?s definition of what the higher demand and quality in the reform signify.

The main purpose of this Master?s thesis is to investigate the experience of art students and their attitudes and use of information during the last years of their Master?s degree. I also examine their opinions about the art education in general. The theoretical framework encompasses a sociocultural approach within the field of psychology-pedagogy and library- as well as information science. The empirical material has been collected through qualitative interviews with seven students studying at an art school in Sweden.

Målet med studien var att med hjälp av tromboelastografi (TEG) undersöka om tikar med pyometra är drabbade av koagulationsrubbning, och i sådana fall hur ofta samt vilken typ av koagulationsrubbning. I studien ingick 25 tikar med kliniska tecken på pyometra samt 16 friska kontrolltikar. Alla tikar undersöktes kliniskt av veterinär och blodprov togs för undersökning av biokemiska variabler, hematologi samt koagulation inklusive tromboelastrografi (TEG). Tikar med pyometra provtogs preoperativt innan kirurgisk behandling. Sex av dessa tikar följdes med flera blodprover även postoperativt under minst en månad. Resultaten visade att 92 % av tikarna med kliniska tecken på pyometra var hyperkoaguabla, och att koagulationsrubbningen kan kvarstå under flera veckor postoperativt hos vissa tikar. D-dimer var förhöjt hos åtta pyometratikar, aPTT var lindrigt förlängt hos fem tikar och lindrigt förkortat hos tio, medan PK var normalt hos alla pyometratikarna. Slutsatsen var att hyperkoaguabilitet är mycket vanligt hos tikar med pyometra samt att TEG visat sig vara en lämplig och känslig metod för att diagnosticera hyperkoaguabla tillstånd, jämfört med andra hemostasanalyser som generellt används..

The purpose of this study is to examine how adult students, studying at an upper secondary school for adults, search for information for their independent tasks in different subjects. These independent tasks are frequent in most subjects and are a part of the ?investigation-work?. For most adult students this is a new way of learning. Fifteen qualitative interviews with adult students have been conducted.

In schools, misconceptions about genetics can arise due to several factors, and the consequences of these misunderstandings can be significant. Lack of education can play a central role in the spread of misinformation about genetics. When teachers lack sufficient knowledge or do not have access to up-to-date resources, they risk inadvertently conveying inaccuracies to students. Additionally, students own preconceived notions and misinterpretations can be reinforced through interaction with their peers, creating a vicious cycle of misinformation. In this study, various misconceptions within genetics education have been identified and analyzed, while different strategies to prevent these misconceptions have been examined. The study revealed that the two most common misconceptions are the confusion between "genes" and "DNA" and the simplified perception of genetic determinism.

The aim of this study was to describe nurses? knowledge of pain. The method used was a systematic literature study. Information was gathered from the databases Blackwell Synergy, Academic Search Elite and Medline, and the keywords used in the search were: pain, knowledge, nurses and nurses.The result was divided into three subgroups; Insignificant documentation and evaluation. More education is necessary.

År 2013 var den politiska kommunikationen mest frekvent och likaså responsen från följare. Undersökningsresultaten visar även att båda objektanalyserna för vartdera partiet använder Twitter som en kommunikationsplattform med tvåvägskommunikation, således kan vi se utformningen av en ny form av valstuga på Twitter. Resultaten visar även på att personifiering ökat inom den politiska kommunikationen på Twitter, samt att en jämn fördelning av personliga tweets och med politiska tweets ger bäst respons från följare..

This Master thesis aims to illuminate nine librarians relation to professional information. This is accomplished by focusing on five questions: How do they communicate and acquire professional information, and how do they evaluate its relevance? What are their experiences of continuing professional education? What are their opinions on the academicalisation of the education? Is it possible to perceive something of the librarians professional project in the informants statements? What is their relation to the academic subject of library and information science and the research on the area? The analysis is based upon the interviews with nine librarians and carried out with profession theory in order to study the role of theoretic knowledge in our participants professionalisation processes. We also use different context oriented theories to study the contextual dimension of information need and seeking. The conclusions of this Master thesis reveal that the communication between the theory of library and information science and the practice need to be improved if we want to see more of an evidence-based librarianship.

The aim of my examination work was to compare and research how russian respective swedish teachers make use of educational aesthetic methods such as drawing, drama, music and dance in the teaching of core school subjects ? mathematics and swedish respective russian languages. The aim of this work was to find out which of these methods are used by pedagogues in the process of education and on what level are they integrated into the theoretical pedagogic work. The point was to also analyse the regulation documents used as pedagogical base in schools i've been doing my survey in. This was done to partly find out what arts perspective is given in the curriculum and partly to see what pieces of it are reflected in the process of education.

Underso?kningens syfte har varit att studera och synliggöra social och studierelaterad stress i två professionsorienterade utbildningar samt att studera genusaspekter i anslutning till detta.Studien är grundad på kvantitativ ansats, baserad på gruppenkät och efterföljde statistiska bearbetningar. Resultatet redogör för studenternas sociala och studierelaterade stress med fokus på psykologstudenter och informationsteknologstudenter, inklusive genusaspekten.Enligt resultatet uppskattade respondenterna sina stressnivåer på en medelhog grad. Det finns en grupp individer (cirka 15 procent) som visar psykosomatiska symptom på långvarig stress. Studenterna upplever studierelaterade stressfaktorer, stressorer som rör studieteknik, prestation, kontroll över den egna studiesituationen och rädslan inför framtiden, samt stressorer som relateras till olika sociala förhållanden.

The students participating in my development work will work with a process book for handicraft studies. In the beginning of their studies, the students need practical knowledge about the development of the profession itself, but they also need to be challenged and learn how to solve problems on their own which will help them gain a deeper knowledge of the subject.    I focus on open questions to create a process with the students. This process is created when working with Solution-Focused-Education. Through ?assessment for learning? we can help the students to improve their self-assessment and understanding of the learning process.
