On-site sewage systems are common on the countryside of Sweden with approximately one million on-site systems installed. Due to insufficient function, these contribute significantly to the total discharge of phosphorus to rivers and lakes, causing eutrophication. In order to reduce eutrophication and to fulfil one of the environmental quality objectives, the decision was taken by the Swedish Government in 2005 that 60 % of phosphorous in sewage sludge is to be recycled to arable land before 2015. To make recycling a reality, new solutions have to be found. Federation of Swedish Farmers (LRF) takes an active interest in this issue and has initiated this study. One problem is that the food industry is sceptical towards recirculation due to the risks that products from sewage systems may contain pathogens, heavy metals and unwanted chemical compounds, e.g.

Denna uppsats behandlar tidens anda och dess påverkan på den kollektiva arbetsrätten genom åren. Syftet med arbetet är främst att ge ett annorlunda perspektiv på arbetsmarknadens historieutveckling genom att inte bara undersöka händelsers sakliga bakgrund och utgång, utan även fokusera i högre grad på de krafter som ligger bakom processen. Detta görs genom att till en början redogöra för de centrala händelserna i den kollektiva arbetsrättens historieutveckling och sedan i följande kapitel fastställa vad tidens anda var under samma tidsperioder. Vidare görs en jämförelse mellan de båda historiegenomgångarna för att visa hur den senare påverkat, samt återspeglas i, den förstnämnda. Det framgår av denna jämförelse att det, under de perioder det skett omvälvningar på den kollektiva arbetsrättens område, funnits en viss anda inom Sverige som antingen hjälpt till att initiera processen eller underlättat dess fortgång.

SUMMARYThis work consists of a review of the medical records of 142 horses that visited the Equine dermatology clinic, at the University Animal Hospital, UDS, at Ultuna, Uppsala, Sweden, between January 2007 and June 2010. The study answers certain main questions like clinical signs responsible for the visit, the most common diagnoses, their diagnostic procedures, treatment modalities and finally, the outcome of treatment.Among 50 diagnoses, four were predominant followed by additional 46 diagnoses, each presenting by few or, in many cases, only one horse. The most common dermatological problem diagnosed was Equine Sarcoid representing 18,3 % of the cases (26/142), which probably reflects the Initiation of a Sarcoid treatment-trial in 2007, that resulted in an accumulation of sarcoid horses in the clinic .The second most common diagnosis was Atopy 12 % (17/142) followed by Allergy with skin affection 9,2 % (13/142) and Acute superficial pyodermia 4,9 % (7/142). If the horses were divided into diagnostic groups, the majority (34,5 %) belonged to HA5 group, (Immunological skin diseases), followed by group HA4, (Infectious and inflammatory conditions of the skin) (22,5 %) and HA6, (Neoplasia) (21,8 %). Traumatic skin injuries represented only 2,1 % of the cases, compared to 80 % of horses in the Agria insurance statistics for veterinary care.The most common clinical sign and reasons for veterinary consultation was pruritus (35,9 %), suspected sarcoids (17,6 %), alopecia (12,7 %), nodules (12 %), seborrea, scaling and crusts (9,2 %) and excoriations (5,6 %), respectively, followed by a scattered number of more uncommon symtoms.The diagnostic methods most frequently applied were cytology and biopsy, used in 41,5 % and 36,6 % of the cases, respectively.

The life cycle of the anadromous Atlantic salmon (Salmo salar) can span large geographic, political, and socio-economic boundaries. Management strategies and regulations that only concentrate on small spatial scales often overlook larger basin-wide problems, especially relating to post-spawn seaward migration. In this master thesis one entire migration cycle of wild adult Atlantic salmon in the unregulated northern Swedish river Vindelälven was monitored by radio-telemetry tracking during upstream spawning migration and downstream seaward migration back to the Baltic Sea. The effect of ladder passage variables (time to pass, total time in the ladder, passage day over the ladder) at a fish ladder downstream in the river Umeälven, as well as fish size, were evaluated to determine if differences in upstream migration distance in the river Vindelälven could be observed. Ladder passage variables did not affect migration distance, but size exhibited a negative relationship to migration distance.

Med IP-telefoni innebär det att samtalet delas upp och transporteras till största del med hjälp av små IP-paket via Internet istället för via det fasta telefonnätet och tekniken har växt sig större och större bara under de senaste åren. Många företag och privatpersoner har redan valt att gå över från den fasta telefonin till IP-telefoni och i slutet av 2005 fanns det 210 000 stycken abonnemang för IP-baserad telefoni i Sverige, vilket motsvarar en ökning med 159 % jämfört mot 2004.Syftet med ett byte till en ny teknik handlar oftast om att det aktuella alternativet för med sig flera fördelar jämfört med det gamla, men för det mesta uppstår det även nackdelar som måste beaktas och så även för IP-telefoni. En stor fördel med IP-telefoni är att det kan bli billigare för privatpersoner att ringa med IP-telefoni än med det fasta telefonnätet medan en av de stora nackdelarna är att det inte går att ringa med IP-telefoni vid strömavbrott. På lång sikt kan detta innebära ett nätsäkerhetsproblem eftersom IP-telefoni troligtvis kommer att utgöra en större del av marknaden i framtiden.Trots en stor marknadsföring av IP-telefoni så har jag en hypotes som lyder att privatpersoner har hört talas om IP-telefoni men är inte medvetna om de fördelar respektive nackdelar som finns vid ett byte till IP-telefoni. Dessutom tror jag att IP-telefoni är mer ett alternativ för yngre privata telefonianvändare än äldre.Den nyaste formen av IP-telefoni fungerar som så att det analoga talet kodas om till digitalt format med hjälp av en Analog Telefon Adapter (ATA) som är kopplad till bredbandsanslutningen.
