Syftet: Att belysa informationens betydelse för en god följsamhet när det gäller motion vid diabetes typ 2. Metod: Kvalitativ design med innehållsanalys. Vignettemetoden användes vid intervjuerna.

I uppsatsen diskuteras vem som kan anses bära ansvaret för känslig information och vid vilken tidpunkt detta ansvar kan anses gå över från en part till en annan när informationen skickas med e-post. Information is essential in order for pharmaceutical companies to be successful. This essay focuses on the information provision of pre-clinical scientists at AstraZeneca R&D Lund, and the role of the company library in this process. In semi-structured interviews, four pre-clinical scientists were asked to describe their information provision regarding what type of information they need, how they find it and what sources of information they use. Four librarians from the company library were also interviewed to give their perspective on the information provision of pre-clinical scientist. The study also aimed at comparing the image of the process as described by the scientists themselves and the librarians.

Det är inte enbart den sjuke som blir delaktig och påverkas i samband med ett insjuknande i cancer, utan även de anhöriga blir drabbas. Forskningen är inriktad på patienternas upplevelse av cancer, både ur ett kvantitativt och kvalitativt perspektiv. Syftet med denna studie var att beskriva upplevelsen av information när en närstående har cancer. 11 vetenskapliga artiklar med kvalitativ ansats analyserades med kvalitativ innehållsanalys. Analysen resulterade i fem slutliga kategorier: Att informationen orsakar rädsla och oro men ger stöd, Att vilja förstå det som sägs och skrivs, Att själv söka kunskap om cancer, Önskan att alltid få vara med, Att vårdpersonalen avsatte tid och förklarade.

Tvångsvård inom psykiatrin tillämpas runt om i världen när patienter inte bedöms kunna fatta adekvata beslut om sin egen omvårdnad. Tvångsåtgärder är ett mycket känsligt förfarande där patienten lätt utsätts för övergrepp och kränkningar när åtgärder vidtas utan hans eller hennes medgivande.Vi ville belysa patienters erfarenheter av tvångsåtgärder inom psykiatrin och på så vis ta reda på om eller hur vårdpersonal skulle kunna tillämpa denna kunskap för att förbättra vården.Denna systematiska litteraturstudie har gjorts med syftet att ta reda på hur dessa patienter upplever de tvångsåtgärder som de utsatts för.Studien omfattar sju artiklar som berör ämnet och har valts ut från tre databaser, PubMed, PsycInfo och Cinahl, från sökkriterierna ?commitment of mentally ill?, ?psychiatric patients?, ?involuntary commitment? och ?attitude?, beroende på vilka termer databasen rekommenderade. Artiklarna analyserades och fyra gemensamma teman belystes.Resultaten tyder på att många kränkningar sker vid tvångs-omhändertagande, men att flertalet patienter i efterhand accepterar den tvångsvård de utsatts för. De aspekter som påverkar upplevelsen positivt tycks vara god information, goda relationer med personalen samt delaktighet i vården.

This thesis aims to discuss how an information system and its users may adapt to each other. The main discussion is how to create an information system that is adaptable without losing its organising properties. The thesis uses a holistic approach to the topic and the areas being dealt with are information architecture, interactive information retrieval and information searching. The practical work consisted of constructing a database for Autoliv?s Research and Development branch.

The goal of this Masters thesis is to examine how people at the production department of Arkivator Falköping AB perceive the internal organisational communication transfer and exchange of information, by means of a communication audit. The objectives are also to characterise the communication climate and the respondents satisfaction with the internal organisational communication within the organisation. The results of the study are compared with the companys information policy and with previous research in organisational communication. Answers from different demographic groups within the population are compared. The communication audit was conducted using a modified and added version of a questionnaire originally compiled by the International Communications Association.

Background: Poor perineal wound healing and infections after proctectomy surgery, affect a significant proportion of physical and psychological morbidities such as pain, leakage and abscesses. In its lengthening some of these symptoms will lead to extended periods of hospitalization. These kind of postoperative complications are also associated with delays in eventual chemotherapy treatment Aim: To describe the patients experiences of postoperative wound infection as well as communication and self-care support from the nurse specialist after proctectomy due to rectal cancer. Method: A qualitative content analysis was carried out from interviews. Results: Four main categories emerged; ?Coping with postoperative complications?, ?be independent?, ?feel safe?, and ?accept the situation?.

De närstående förväntas stötta patienten, vilket blir svårt om de själva inte får stöd. Syfte: Att beskriva närståendes erfarenheter av stöd från sjuksköterskan i onkologisk omvårdnad. Metod: En litteraturöversikt med avsikt att få en överblick över forskningsområdet.

The purpose of this Master?s thesis is to investigate what prompts student nurses to seek information required to their educational tasks and how they evaluate and utilize that information. The questions addressed in this thesis regard how information retrieval becomes part of student nurses? social practice; which physical and intellectual tools student nurses make use of in their education; and which mediating resources they use to perform their tasks. Roger Säljö?s sociocultural approach provides the theoretical framework for this thesis.

The aim of this Master Thesis is to examine how the national intranet at Nordea serves the organisation as a channel of information and communication. The intranets of today, have partially or completely come to replace other channels of information within larger organisations, and the intranet has become an increasingly important issue to the communicational process of organisations. To address the problem stated, qualitative interviews was accomplished with several employees at a department at Nordea. The achieved result reflects how the intranet supports variable everyday end-user situations. The result shows an intranet that is sparsely used in comparison to other channels of communication such as colleagues.

The purpose of this Master's thesis was to examine how and what trainee teachers are being taught about information seeking and school libraries related to problem-based teaching method in compulsory school. The questions at issue were: How have trainee teachers learned about information seeking? How have trainee teachers learned about using school libraries? We also wanted to know which education they have got in information seeking and school libraries. We examined this through both literature and empirical studies. We used a qualitative method in order to answer the questions at issue.

Hjärtinfarkt leder årligen till att många mister sitt liv runt om i världen. Vilka riskfaktorer som finns för att drabbas av en hjärtinfarkt och vad en hjärtinfarkt innebär är viktig information. Symtom och behandlingar som är kopplade till hjärtinfarkt är viktigt att sjuksköterskan ändå informera patienterna om samt vilka rutiner som finns och kunna skapa en bra vårdrelation. Om sjuksköterskan har kunskap om vilka informationsbehov patienterna har kan detta leda till att patienterna upplever trygghet och känner sig delaktiga i sin vård. Syftet med detta arbeta är att belysa vad patienterna önskar för information vid en hjärtinfarkt.

The aim of this thesis is to investigate the information need of the incubators that comes from Chalmers University of Technology and are situated at Chalmers Innovation. It is also of interest to investigate how Chalmers University Library covers this information need. The investigation was carried out using qualitative interviews with representatives of the incubators. They were asked questions about the perceived need of information and which type of contacts they had with the library. The result is that the incubators feel that there is a great need for business information that is hard to find.
