Den uppsats som i följande beskrivs har syftat till att ur ett konsumentperspektiv undersöka och förstå vad som gör att unga konsumenter väljer att lyssna på den populärmusik de lyssnar på. Detta för att förstå hur marknadsförare ska marknadsföra artister i den förändrade musikindustrin. För att uppnå detta syfte har tre stycken fokusgrupper genomförts med ungdomar i åldrarna 16-18 år från Stockholm. De frågor vi formulerat till fokusgrupperna baserades på hur unga konsumerar musik, hur de skaffar information om musik, vilken roll spelar andra ungdomars musikval, vad som skulle få dem att betala för musik, hur de definierar sin personlighet, samt hur de visar grupptillhörighet. Svaren tolkades utifrån teorier inom konsumentbeteende och marknadskommunikation.

Denna studie har som mål att ta fram en teoretisk modell för hur små- till medelstora företag i norra Sveriges inland på ett enkelt sätt kan arbeta för att effektivisera sina logistikflöden kopplat till distribution och materialplanering. Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka hur SMF och deras kapitalbindning påverkas av deras lokalisering och att utifrån det formulera en teoretisk modell som ska hjälpa denna typ av företag att förbättra användandet och utveckla sina resurser med avsikt att reducera bundet kapital. Modellen kommer att grundas på de problem vi finner hos dessa företag samt på befintliga teorier..

The fast developments in information and data technology during the recent years have accentuated the need for the business manager to interpret and act on information from the surrounding environment. Today we know little about what information is really used in the unique decision-making. Further, little is known about how information should be designed to fit people with a more intuitive approach to interpreting information. This study is therefore about the difference between peoples approach to interpreting information and how information should be designed to fit those with a more intuitive approach to interpreting information. The application is made to dairy farms in Sweden. The literature review describes the strategic leadership, the decision-making process and the intuitive and the analytic thinking.

Background: For an individual a surgery may involve strains and risks. Many patients experience a loss of its own identity and often an inability to control the situation while going through a surgical operation. Fear of pain or to not wake up from the anesthetic or that the surgery will fail are worrying factors that some people experiences. Purpose: The purpose was to describe patients? perceptions of preoperative information in connection to elective surgeries.

The purpose of this paper is to examine different attitudes regarding freedom of information and how libraries should fulfil their information-task represented by four organisations. The organisations are important in shaping the Swedish public libraries in different ways. The purpose is to examine in what ways their definition of information freedom may differ from one another and what that means in defining the public library. For the survey the qualitative textual analysis has been used for examining the documents and websites that are part of the debate about the public library and information freedom. We chose to interview representatives of four organisations that in different ways influence the shaping of the public library.

The aim of the study was to investigate the crimes and punishments that were commonly occurring between the years 1601-1651, and how the distribution was between men and women represented in the court in district Sjuhundra and Njurunda district. To answer these questions, a quantitative examination of court records conducted in which the crimes and punishments have been categorized. The results that have emerged have been the basis for the conclusions issued in the essay. The results showed that the most common target types were various civil and propertycase and the most common punishments were sentenced to fines and settlements. It was predominantly men who were in the court, the proportion of women was between 13-22%.

The aim with this study is to see how social workers apprehend the law, support and service for persons with certain functional impairments (LSS) and the application. We interviewed six social workers in six different municipalities to get a distribution between small and big municipalities. In the study we have used a qualitative method with half structured interview questions, since we wanted to get a comprehension for the social workers apprehensions. We have used a communication theory and a role theory in the study. The result showed that the social workers consider that the LSS is important, but that there are a few difficulties in the application.

The aim of this work is to take the first step into a development process, with the intention to find a way of making prehistoric soil fertility a variable in archaeological landscape analysis. A pilot study is performed on the Mälar basin area, where four topographical and geological factors are reclassified and then combined, resulting in a map which expresses a relative indication of agriculture potential. The map is then compared to the distribution of Migration Period graves and gold finds. This, however, does not mean that the technique is tied to a certain prehistoric period. Because the work is intrinsically experimental, the technique as a whole is finally discussed and evaluated, and suggestions of improvements and further studies are made..

Previous research analyzing information and communication effects regarding high-involvement purchases has so far concerned communication length and the use of salient attributes. Studies investigating the effects of communication on a word-level is however limited. For a high-involvement purchase like an apartment the need for information is vital in the customers purchase decision. The purpose of this study is to investigate the distribution of medieval ballads as semiotics of intertextuality in modern Swedish literature, here represented by August Strindberg, Erik Axel Karlfeldt, Kerstin Ekman and Katarina Frostenson. The first information recruiters have access to, when recruiting a new co-worker is the applicant´s CV. It may even happen that the applicants are sending a photo with the CV, which can lead to the possibility that the appearance of the applicant will affect the assessment. Previous research shows that individuals who are regarded as beautiful get a better assessment than those who are considered to be ugly or mediocre looking, but if this can be prevented through awareness, the problem can easily be counteracted. The purpose of this thesis is to, through an experimental study, investigate whether recruiters can avoid being affected by the applicant?s appearance in the assessment of their CV if they receive information about the stereotypical thinking that is tied to a person's appearance.

To increase the knowledge about the growth of hazel (Corylus avellana)and size distribution of the shoots, circumference and stem diameter wasmeasured in a total of 54 clones in two areas in Östergötland. Further, thewidth of growth rings was determined for separate years. The diameter ofthe stems was measured both out from the centre of the stem andperpendicular to the first measure. The stems showed only a weaktendency to have an oval shape (with the longest side outwards from thecentre). The growth model did not improve when the degree of sunlightof clones was taken into the account.

Bröstcancer drabbar 10 till 15 kvinnor dagligen och utgör därmed den vanligaste formen av cancer hos kvinnor. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att undersöka behovet av information och stöd hos kvinnor med bröstcancer. Genom att göra en litteraturstudie kan vetenskaplig kunskap från ett flertal artiklar sammanställas och komma till nytta i det kliniska arbetet. Resultatet visade att bröstcancerpatienters hade ett stort behov av information och stöd, detta behov måste dock identifieras individuellt för varje patient. Dessa patienter ansåg att information om möjligheten att bli botad, behandlingsalternativ samt recidiv var viktig.
