I have in this essay, studied both the definition of the concepts segregation and integration and how you as an urban planner can promote integration, by working with increased feeling of security and more venues. The aim is to cast light on these two tools and how you within city planning can use them to create a more equal society. To gain a wide base of knowledge, I have studied both government and municipal reports as well as prior investigations where these methods have been used. I have also interviewed a landscape architect who actively works with questions regarding integration in Malmö, to get information as recent as possible about their work today. Malmö is today a segregated city with large gaps between the residential areas when it comes to economic possibilities and the composition of inhabitants.

This master thesis deals with events, dynamics and problems of mediated information seeking within the context of a new information service called "Book a librarian". The study, based on a survey and interviews both in academic and public libraries and participant observations in academic libraries, has its theoretical base in the cognitive theory of information retrieval interaction. The cognitive view is used to throw light upon the need of an ongoing dialogue during the session in order to detect the information needs of the user and to conduct a successful retrieval of information. The communicative interaction is seen as threepart interaction between the intermediary, the user and the information system, where the current cognitive states of all three participants are involved. The study shows that the cognitive obstacles for a successful mediation and information retrieval are mostly connected to participants current knowledge of the subject and of the retrieval techniques.

Bakgrund: Cirka 30 000 personer insjuknar i hjärtinfarkt i Sverige årligen och det är den största folksjukdomen. Hjärtinfarkt är inte bara ett akut tillstånd, utan även en kronisk sjukdom. Vid insjuknande är det därför viktigt att personerna får information för att förstå sitt tillstånd.Syfte: Syftet med studien var att belysa personers upplevelse av information given av sjukvårdspersonal efter att ha insjuknat i hjärtinfarkt.Metod: Studien gjordes som en litteraturstudie med kvalitativ ansats där nio vetenskapliga artiklar ligger till grund för studiens resultat. Analysen utfördes enligt Graneheim och Lundman.Resultat: Analysen resulterade i upplevelserna: personerna fick information på varierande sätt från sjukvårdspersonalen, Informationen gav stöd och trygghet och Saknar tillräcklig information.Slutsats: Personer som insjuknat i hjärtinfarkt upplever att de får bristande information om sitt hälsotillstånd och livet efter. Därför är det viktigt att sjukvårdspersonalen ger information anpassad efter individens förutsättningar.

The purpose of this master's thesis is to investigate whether the already existing techniques for automatic indexing are suited for the new information retrieval context on the web and how the choice to support these techniques, or not, affects the search results. This is examined through a literature study on automatic indexing and other related concepts, such as information retrieval and information searching on the web in order to get a theoretical frame to the work and by an observation of the search engine HotBot to approach the purpose of the thesis. För organisationer som hanterar känslig information är god informationssäkerhet en nödvändighet för att upprätthålla trovärdigheten och kunna bedriva verksamheten effektivt. Vi har därför valt att i denna uppsats undersöka hur statliga myndigheter som hanterar skyddsvärd information arbetar för att uppnå god informationssäkerhet. För att undersöka detta har vi gjort en fallstudie på två statliga svenska myndigheter där vi genom intervjuer och dokumentation har kartlagt hur myndigheterna skyddar sin information utifrån fysisk, logisk och administrativ säkerhet. Resultatet av undersökningen visar att myndigheterna skyddar sin känsliga information genom att använda sig av såväl administrativa och logiska som fysiska skyddsåtgärder. Undersökningen har också visat att myndigheterna till en tillfredsställande hög grad kan skydda den känsliga information de hanterar.
