Förtroende har sitt ursprung i trygghet och säkerhet. För att lämna ifrån sig personlig information krävs att man känner förtroende och således även trygghet och säkerhet. Tillgång till personlig information är en viktig konkurrensfördel för ett företag. Samtidigt utgör den personliga informationen ett problem eftersom många kunder känner en oro att lämna ifrån sig denna. Oron beror på osäkerhet om vad som kan hända med den information man lämnar, denna oro kan i sin tur leda till brist på förtroende.

Att leva med en kronisk sjukdom som astma påverkar den sjukes liv på många sätt. Både samhälleliga och personliga vinster finns med att patienten har kontroll över sin sjukdom. Därför är det viktigt att vården stöttar och ger kunskap som underlättar för patienten att leva med astma. Det krävs att patienten får en information som är individanpassad för att han/hon ska kunna omsätta kunskaperna i praktisk handling. Metoden som användes i studien var kvantitativ med en enkät som datainsamlingsmetod.

This study contains how pre-school teachers talk about their mission as tutors and their assignments to educate student teachers in relation to the document that contains information concerning practice-based learning. The students are involved in communities of practice regarding pre-schools for children between one year and five years old. The pre-school teachers will share their daily work and pedagogical responsibility in the activities, meaning that the students are expected to show social engagement in interaction between children and adults. When teachers from the University visit the pre-school, the students are supposed to have a lesson or activity with the pupils in the practice class. And afterwards the students, the pre-school teachers and the teacher from University together have a developing discuss about the outcome objectives that the students are supposed to reach during the practice.

This master thesis investigates the possibilities of using GPS-information from trains to create a model of a railway system, register the routes of the the trains and predict how the trains will travel in the railway system.The thesis work was done at Icomera AB which is a company that specializes in internet connected vehicle solutions.We describe how the GPS-information is sent from the trains in the form of samples and investigate limitations and possibilities with the available information. About three million samples from 83 SJ-trains were analysed and the samples were filtered with the intent of removing erroneous information. We here found that about 30 % of the samples from the trains were unreliable.A solution for how the samples from the trains can be used to create a model of the railway system traveled by the trains is presented. We use a large set of historical samples and use cluster nodes and Hermite curves to generate a graph that represent the railway system with stations, nodes and the railway itself. A fully automatic solution is not presented since it did not fit into the time frame of the thesis; instead we created a simple tool which can be used to manually finish the model of the railway system.Furthermore, we describe how the railway system and the samples from the train can be used to register the routes the trains travel.

The purpose of this thesis was to examine how two different groups use information strategies in their Facebook group activities. A qualitative study was made using interviews and a qualitative observation method. The observation groups consisted of two selected groups on Facebook and I interviewed three chosen participants of each group; a Gatekeeper, a Gateopener and a Lurker. Through the information strategies I examined the selected groups? information environments.

Our aim with this study has been to show the central factors that we consider have had animpact on public libraries in the "information society". We have studied two communities in the south of Sweden, Ronneby and Sölvesborg. These two communities have both started a development to the IT society, a society where information plays a great role, where the technique is the tool that supplies information.Ronneby community had early the aim to be the chief Swedish information center. A priority on information technology has therefore been obvious for them. Sölvesborg community has had another method and time schedule towards the IT society.We have been studying the documentation of aim and the strategy for IT development in different levels.

The work has been done with close involvement of afocus group consisting of 20 people of different ages and with different occupations.The behavior of the focus group has been observed and test modelshave played a crucial role in advancing the work troughout the project. Theresult is a series of storage products for the wall, of simple shapes which canbe combined together in different ways depending on hallway and the user?sindividual taste or preference..

The goal of this qualitative essay is to approach the knowledge of people who commit crimes. From a development psychology point of view, questions relating to childhood ang growth are some of the important subjects we choose to discuss. Our purpose is also to reveal the linkage between criminal behavior and different theories of the above mentioned perspective. To bridge the gap between the general and the individual, our survey was based on profound interviews with four inmates in prison. This offer an opportunity to capture the individual´s inner thoughts, feelings and experience about the criminal action.

The importance of good information security and safety grows larger and larger for each day in the information society of today. This concerns citizens, companies and public authorities. At the Swedish Transport Administration, the operation of an information security and safety process has evolved over the years to guarantee that the public authority can be trusted by its citizens, cooperating companies and other public authorities. This responsibility has been assigned to the Information Security and Safety Department (Informationssa?kerhetsavdelningen, ITsa?).In this thesis the aim is to review to what extent ITsa? achieves any business benefits for the Swedish Transport Administration, and to analyze, streamline and come up with solutions to improve their workflow.

Syftet med denna systematiska litteraturstudie var att undersöka hur patienter med prostatacancer upplever stöd och information från vården och närstående. Resultaten i studien grundades på 15 vetenskapliga artiklar av både kvalitativ och kvantitativ ansats. Sökningar gjordes via Högskolan Dalarnas sökmotor Elin@dalarna och databaserna Blackwell synergy, Cinahl, Weiley och PubMed. Via granskningsmallar kvalitetsgranskades artiklarna, utgivna 1999-2009. Artiklarna var på engelska och etiskt godkända.

Hjärtinfarkt är en allvarlig sjukdom, ofta förknippad med oro och ångest hos den drabbade. Patienter kan hamna i en akut kris till följd av sjukdomen och det plötsliga insjuknandet. Ett tydligt samband finns mellan livsstil, utvecklandet av och risken för återinsjuknande i sjukdomen. Patientinformation utgör en viktig del i vården och rehabiliteringen av hjärtinfarktpatienten. Informationens liksom vårdandets yttersta mål är att vägleda patienten mot en högre grad av hälsa och välbefinnande samt att lindra eller förhindra lidande.

För att uppfylla kraven kan kommunens förvaltningar samarbeta i frågan om information, kommunikation och marknadsföring valet av kanal för dessa är en viktig del. Syftet med uppsatsen blir därmed att ge rekommendationer för kommunikation, information och marknadsföring till Emmaboda kommun. Rekommendationerna ska ge marknadsgruppen för Emmaboda kommun en bild av vilka kanaler som är mest lämpliga att använda i arbetet kring informationsspridning.

Region Skåne lanserade år 2005 Vårdgivarwebben. En webbplats med syfte att förse alla vårdgivare i regionen med gemensam hälso- och sjukvårdsrelaterad information. Webbplatsen innehåller ett rikt och varierat informationsmaterial.

AbstractThis study focuses on three generations of Kurdish women's view on honor. The study is a qualitative research based on three individual interviews. The aim of this study is to examine how three generations of immigrant women from a culture of honor is influenced over time by the majority culture and its values together with how these women affect each other mutually both consciously and unconsciously within the family. The study is based on two questions: What does"honor" mean to the three generations of women who are Muslim and Kurdish? Did these three generations of women?s idea of honor change over time as they have lived in Sweden? Results of this study have shown that the concept of honor has its focus on the woman's body, sexuality and chastity.

A new phenomenon on the Internet is the online audience response. Mentimeter is a web-based tool where you can create online polls. The users can then cast a vote and the result is shown in real time. We want to test the information visualization in Mentimeter and we base our hypothesis, that a better graph design is possible, on the work of Edward Tufte and Stephen Few. Edward Tufte is an emeritus at Yale University, where he held courses in statistical evidence and information design and has created theories about how visual information should be designed.
