Arkitektkontoret Sweco Architects i Göteborg har tagit fram ett förslag för ett bostadsområde i Varberg, där Varbergs kommun var beställare. De föreslog att ett eget områdesförslag skulle tas fram i Revit Architecture utifrån de planbestämmelser som gäller i området. Som en fördjupning i detta arbete valdes att även studera arbetsprocessen i programmet samt hur denna process kan tidsoptimeras. Ett problem idag är att en sådan process kan vara tidskrävande och ineffektiv. Syftet med detta arbete var att finna idéer på hur processen kan effektiviseras och att utveckla kunskaperna om Revit.Som en inledning modellerades hur området ser ut idag i Revit utifrån en ritning skapad i AutoCAD.

The topic of this essay is information seeking for children and young people in municipal libraries. This is based in the growing need for information seeking skills in the Information Society. Policy documents on the topic are scrutinized and related to a concrete praxis. Data has been collected through two case studies; one carried out in Ronneby and one in Trandared, Borås. These cases where chosen because of the existence of a local policy for library skills and information search for 6 to 12-year-olds.

For innovative organizations and companies it is essential to use existing knowledge to avoid spending time and resources on already existing innovations. By using patent information, companies are able to get a picture of what is already done in their area of interest. The main purpose of the study is to examine the information use in small and medium-sized enterprises that are members of the Swedish Inventor?s Association, focusing on patent information. The study examines the use of patent information and which barriers the companies have to patent information.

För organisationer som hanterar känslig information är god informationssäkerhet en nödvändighet för att upprätthålla trovärdigheten och kunna bedriva verksamheten effektivt. Vi har därför valt att i denna uppsats undersöka hur statliga myndigheter som hanterar skyddsvärd information arbetar för att uppnå god informationssäkerhet. För att undersöka detta har vi gjort en fallstudie på två statliga svenska myndigheter där vi genom intervjuer och dokumentation har kartlagt hur myndigheterna skyddar sin information utifrån fysisk, logisk och administrativ säkerhet. Resultatet av undersökningen visar att myndigheterna skyddar sin känsliga information genom att använda sig av såväl administrativa och logiska som fysiska skyddsåtgärder. Undersökningen har också visat att myndigheterna till en tillfredsställande hög grad kan skydda den känsliga information de hanterar.

This essay aims to investigate the use of an origin-ID within the Beaker Complex, as defined by John C. Barrett, seen through their different expressions of use in ceramic form and ornamentation, architecture and landscape through time and space with special emphasis on the late Neolihtics in the South of England. The analytic vehicle "the reinforcing circle" is used as a new diffusion model suggested by Stuart Needham, and the analytic tool "incubation" is used to structure the process the Beaker-cultures may have used to reach cultural hegemony. Online social networks are a natural part of the lives of today?s western youth. Media and information literacy is a central part of research in Library and Information science and until now there has always been more focus on these subjects in a learning context rather than in an every day life context.The aim of this study is to further examine how adolescent boys value and trust the information they receive via Twitter in their personal lives, and how this effects their view of their environment. The study was done with a qualitative method, where we conducted interviews with six boys who were all born in 1997. The results showed that they knew how to react critically to information on Twitter.

The purpose of this paper is to examine information sharing in a hospital organization that is undergoing reorganization. The aiming is to make all employees at all levels actively involved in business development in order to create a smooth and, from a patient?s perspective, adequate emergency care. The paper suggests that the theory of social capital can explain the complexity of what motivate and what promote individuals to share information. The method used in the paper is the case study, focusing on detecting, interpreting and gaining insight on how information shares in an emergency department.

A large part of research about libraries and library buildings in Sweden has been focused on how the building looks not how it functions with the library. The aim with this master?s thesis is to study how a library building is functioning and how its users are experiencing it. This is studied in three libraries, Kungliga tekniska högskolans bibliotek, Sambiblioteket in Härnösand and Vitterhetsakademiens bibliotek. With the questions of how they were planed, what did the libraries want from the new building and which of these demands were realized.

The research of today shows that natural environments are importantfor children's physical and mental development. It alsoshows that children often opt out of the traditional equipmentplaygrounds have to offer. By breaking the boundary betweenthe playground and park, is it possible to create a new spacethat will encourage rather than demand play? Through gatheringinformation and talking to landscape architects, designers,and children, I realized that today's parks already have environmentsand objects that could be used for playing. But whatthey need is something that makes the environment even moreinviting for children to play.

Smålands museum, the museum of Småland, is a museum for the county of Kronoberg, a mission given to the museum by the state and county council. The main fields of the museum are the cultural heritage and the history of culture of the region. The museum of Småland is also the Swedish museum of glass. This Master s thesis focuses on the information requirements of the employees at the museum of Småland. Because of the financial status of the museum, the librarian that worked at the museum had to quit about four years ago.
