Detta examensarbete belyser hur svenska skolor arbetar mot mobbning. Mobbning är ett stort problem som orsakar stor oro bland skolbarn. 1969 ville läkaren Peter-Paul Heinemann uppmärksamma mobbning då han upptäckte att många barn blev mobbade och att vuxna inte brydde sig. 1973 forskade psykologen Dan Olweus kring pojkars beteende kring mobbning. Detta var början till antimobbningsarbetet.Det finns ett flertal antimobbningsprogram och jag har valt att undersöka Friendsprogrammet och Olweusprogrammet.

Den heta debatt som pågår om det individuella programmets vara eller inte vara var ännu ett skäl för mig att lyfta ämnet. Syftet med det här examensarbetet var att undersöka om det individuella programmet hade en större betydelse för eleverna som gick där än att bara läsa upp sina betyg. Jag ville även undersöka vad dessa elever hade för erfarenhet av sina tre år på högstadiet samt hur lärarna på det individuella programmet såg på sin lärarroll.

Syftet med denna undersökning är att ta reda på hur lärare i gymnasieskolan arbetar med fiktioner av olika slag och om arbetssätten skiljer sig åt beroende på om undervisningen sker i ett yrkesförberedande program eller ett högskoleförberedande program. Fyra verksamma lärare intervjuades utifrån en halvstrukturerad intervjuguide. Resultatet visar att lärarna har frångått de gamla traditionella arbetssätten där man ofta arbetade i kronologisk ordning och där eleverna fick skriva recensioner. Idag läggs fokus på att hitta teman, koppla fiktioner till samhällets utveckling och elevernas egna liv och erfarenheter samt att analysera fiktioner via gruppdiskussioner alternativt helklassdiskussioner. Filmens roll i skolan har fått högre status och filmens språk har tagit plats i undervisningen.

Examensarbetets huvudsakliga syfte var att ta fram en metodik och en manual för hur tester kan genomföras på ett program som arbetar mot en databas. Manualen innehåller exempel på hur verktyg används, hur data skall tolkas, olika problem som kan uppstå med mera. Med metodikens hjälp skall användaren kunna hitta de delar av programmet som kan förbättras med hänseende på prestanda. Manualen skall vara så pass lättanvänd att den skall kunna användas av någon som inte har alltför djupa kunskaper inom databaser eller mjukvaruutveckling. Resultatet av arbetet är denna rapport och en manual som personal på Ericsson kan använda vid testning av program som använder sig av databaser och då främst Oracle-databaser..

This final project discusses renewal and upgrading of the area of Prim. It is discussed how this industrial area can be an attractive neighborhood with a varied range of services and commercial trade. Prim is located 2km north-east of the center of Barcelona. The area boarders to a deep railway valley that historically has separated Prim from its neighboring districts. At present there is almost no housing, services or commercial trade within the area and the industry is discontinued or the existing industrial buildings are derelict. There is also a lack of green recreational areas.

This paper is written to take a close look at teaching methods used at the Summer Academy (SHS), which is held at Södertörns Högskola in Stockholm. SHS is a subdivision of the institution of teaching education, which annually, during summertime, offers an eight-day program for pupils between 13-15 years of age, from different schools located in socio-economically disadvantaged suburbs of Stockholm. The intention of SHS is to give the participating pupils an insight into higher education, especially that of university. The purpose of the activities, such as field trips, guided tours and corporate visits, is to make pupils aware of their own responsibility for their educational situation through different methods of knowledge transfer, to diversify the means of the education, and to bring awareness to the array of possibilities which they have access to within the Swedish system of tertiary education.The study is based on six deep-interviews, three with pupils and three with student mentors. Together with 131 surveys from the course given during the summer of 2014, and theories of John Dewey on ?Learning-by-doing?, the results show that pupils participation in SHS give them a better understanding for, and knowledge about their own educational responsibility.Another question this paper seeks to address is how significantly the SHS program is changing the pupil?s experience of education in general and their view upon higher education specifically.

In the forest sector, non-industrial private forest (NIPF) owners commonly interact with numerous stakeholders (e.g. forest managers, timber buyers, harvesting contractors and advisors) for counseling, planning, selling and hiring. Forest management is therefore built and influenced by the relationships between NIPF owners and other stakeholders. In the local context of a Southern Sweden, the Swedish Forest Agency (SFA) and the Southern Forest Owners Association (SÖDRA) are very influential stakeholders in small-scale forest management. Based on qualitative interviews and by means of grounded theory, an analysis of the relationships between NIPF owners and the mentioned organizations was carried out in order to understand the social context at the genesis of forest management decisions.

In 2007, the local authorities in Umeå implemented a wellness offering for all employees working in the municipality administration.

The bulk of the research within the field of media and communication is concentrated at theforefront of development, studies focus on modern companies and modern communication.However, many people work in the industry, where the conditions for communication are partly different. The aim of this study is to explore the possibilities for internal communication that the employees have at the base industrial company of Billerud Gruvön, Sweden. How important do they feel that communication is? Can the internal communication within Gruvön be described as modern, where dialogue between the staff is possible, or as orders from the top down to the bottom of the hierarchal structure?These are our research questions:Which channels are used for communication within Gruvön, and how are they used?How important do the employees deem the internal communication to be?Can the communication within a hierarchal industrial company such as Gruvön be described as modern, where dialogue is at the center, or does the communication consist basically on orders from the top down to the bottom of the chain?Our research is based on the following theories: Communication, Organizational communication, Internal communication and Organizational culture. Boulognerskogen is a park in the central of Skövde that have had a health resort, paths for strolling, outdoor-bath, outdoor-sport areas and events. During the 1970:th there was a lack of interest for the park and very few visited it. By a motion from a resident in Skövde wich proposes that a city playground will be build in Boulognerskogen gave me an opportunity to investigate how the potential of the park can be used to create a funny and nice place to visit for children in company with adults. By a program that contains the main goals and design program for a city playground in Boulognerskogen, I wanted to present a proposal that could meet childrens needs to play and to use the conditions of the place to create places to play in, and where children in company with adults could be together. To reach this, I wanted to try different methods that could lead to a proposal that was well supported by children and adults, and wich was possible to use by the local authority in their further actions. The methods that I used was therefor an important part of the work. I have choosen to define the concept "city playground" as a greater playground situated in the center of the town that are suitable for outings and as a meetingplace, with a varation in playground attractions and promote children and adults to be together, aiming at younger children in the ages of 1-10 years in company with adults, but should also give space to activities of other groups.

Lagen om skydd mot olyckor ställer krav på att företag med hög riskbild gällande brand skall genomföra riskanalyser för sin verksamhet. Med detta som grund har i detta arbete genomförts en riskanalys med åtgärdsförslag i syfte att bidra med underlag för att förbättra brandskyddet i Norrmalmsverkstaden i Finspång. Norrmalmsverkstaden ägs och nyttjas av Siemens Industrial Turbomachinery AB [SIT AB] som tillverkar gas- och ångturbiner. Turbiner till ett försäljningsvärde av flera hundra miljoner kronor monteras och finns uppställda i Norrmalmsverkstaden. En brand där turbiner och övrigt material i lokalen påverkas skulle få stora ekonomiska konsekvenser för SIT AB.

Syftet med studien var i första hand att studera ungdomars upplevelse av makt över sin framtid direkt efter avslutad gymnasietid. Med en enkätundersökning undersöktes 85 ungdomar i årskurs 3 på gymnasieskolans omvårdnadsprogram, samhälls­vetenskapliga program, tekniska program, handelsprogram och naturvetenskapliga program gällande variablerna personlig attityd, subjektiva normer (socialt tryck) och upplevd kontroll. Ingen skillnad framkom mellan yrkes- eller studieförberedande program i attityd till beteende, däremot framkom skillnader vid jämförelse mellan de olika programmen, eleverna på omvårdnadsprogrammet hade en statistiskt signifikant mer positiv attityd till det egna beteendet jämfört med det naturvetenskapliga programmet. En signifikant skillnad framkom också mellan könen i attityd till beteende och upplevd kontroll där tjejerna värderade dessa variabler högre.Resultatet kan förklaras med att det bland flickor ses som mer acceptabelt att studera medan killarna snarare riskerar att få en låg status om de fokuserar för mycket på skolan. Då det i denna studie framkommer att attityden till det egna beteendet var en bra bit över medelvärdet visar den på att en positiv attityd till att det egna beteendet är viktigt. De subjektiva normerna visade att den sociala pressen inte var så stark hos respondenterna vilket är positivt då det visar att eleverna inte upplever sig styrda av den egna sociala gruppen..
