Skedala solcellsanläggning kommer att vara Sveriges största projekterade solcellspark på4000 m2solceller och en total installerad toppeffekt på 610 kWp (maximala toppeffekten somanläggningen kan leverera). Solcellsparken projekteras åt Halmstad Energi och Miljö AB,HEM, som har en deponi under sluttäckning i Skedala. Skedala är ett samhälle nordost omHalmstad. När sluttäckningen är klar vill man använda marken till något positivt som är braför både miljö och invånare. Uppgiften i projektet har varit att projektera och beräknalönsamheten av en solcellsanläggning på området.

ABB and Prevas have initiated a collaboration to sell a system to optimize steel industry furnaces, called FOCS. The purpose of this thesis is to investigate possibilities for integrating Prevas FOCS and ABB 800xA.The result of the investigation is used for an implementation of a prototype of the integrated system. The study shows a general method that can be used when implementing two software systems. The prototype of the integrated systems is made with usability principles in mind. This is a very important aspect in order to create a good working environment for the operators of a steel plant.

I vår studie har vi kommit fram till att det inte finns någon entydigt och klart svar på våra frågeställningar. Vårt exempelföretag Previa visar och mäter att kundens investering ger effekt genom ett unikt kommunikationsverktyg som heter Hälsoeffekten. Verktyget fungerar så att företagets alla siffror förs in i ett system som ger en överblick av företaget. Previa kan sällan garantera att den önskade effekten av investeringen verkligen uppstår, det vill säga att den kommer företaget till del. Det föreligger vidare ett problem att kunna bevisa att förebyggande insatser kommer att ge effekt, eftersom det ibland inte kan påvisas att problem i framtiden kommer att uppstå och då inte heller åtgärdas.

Idag pågår på många ställen i landet en bortbyggnad av grönområden i städer och tätorter, samtidigt som behovet av gröna urbana miljöer växer. Dock finns det fredade ytor i våra städer ? kyrkogårdarna och begravningsplatserna. Målet med det här arbetet är att, med avstamp i historien, ta reda på vilken roll dessa fredade ytor skulle kunna ta i våra framtida samhällen. Begravningsplatsen är en viktig plats för de levande lika mycket som för de döda. Det är en plats alla ska kunna komma till för att sörja och minnas, och både platsen och besökaren ska behandlas med respekt. Det här arbetet handlar om begravningsplatsens historia i Sverige och Norden, hur den sett ut, hur den utvecklats och hur den använts.

Swedish biogas is currently produced mainly by anaerobic digestion of sewage sludgeat sewage treatment plants, landfills and anaerobic digestion of household or industrialwaste. Also cattle ma-nure from farms can be used to produce biogas. Upgradingbiogas represents an increase in methane concentration from about 65 % to about 97%. In addition, particles and contaminants must be sepa-rated from the upgradedbiogas. There are various methods for upgrading and this report compares sixdifferent methods with respect to environment and economy: water scrubber,Biosling, cryo technology, chemical absorption, Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) andmembrane separation.According to the used ORWARE model, chemical adsorption with amine has the leastenvironmen-tal impact (methane emissions) and the lowest costs.

Stockholms stad förväntas fram till 2030 öka sin befolkningsmängd med 150 000 nya invånare. Därmed uppkommer behov av att också grannskapsförorterna expanderar. Kan en relativt kraftig expansion ske i dessa förorter och hur bör i så fall dess struktur och form att förändras? Förortsutbyggnaden i Stockholm skedde i en expansiv tid, då det fanns en stark misstro mot staden som fenomen. Grannskapsförorterna, uppförda från 1940-talet till mitten av 60-talet, planerades efter ett lantligt ideal, med naturen som övergripande system där människans behov av vila skulle tillgodoses.

The demand för Swedish pork meat is increasing every day. This leads to agricultural farming having to develop as an industry, with larger and more rationalised units to make the farming more effective and to raise the financial profit. The consequence of this is that it affects the animals when their surroundings become more industrial. The pig´s natural behaviour becomes restricted by the limitations of the facilities, which leads to them becoming understimulated. Helena Kummel, a teacher at Munkagård upper secondary school and also an educated animal inspector has developed a prototype that could possibly replace the pig´s natural rooting behaviour inside the barn. The porpuse of this report is to study "bökboxen" in the gilts´actual living enviroment, through qualitative- and quantitative analysis.

Detta examensarbete har genomförts på avdelningen Mätteknik & Teknologi (REI) på Siemens Industrial Turbomachinery AB i Finspång. Målet med arbetet var att konstruera och designa en ny utrustning för kalibrering av brännarna till gasturbinen SGT-750. Dagens befintliga utrustning har ett stort kalibreringsbehov och genom att ersätta komponenter i dagens utrustning med nya som är mer optimala för kalibreringen fås bättre mätnoggrannhet, beräkningarna blir enklare och kalibreringsbehovet av utrustningen blir mindre. Därmed skapas en tidsvinst för företaget. Idag används mätsträckor i utrustningen och de kommer i den framtagna utrustningen att ersättas av en massflödesmätare av typ Coriolis.På grund av att examensarbetet är ett delprojekt i ett större projekt som har försenats, mot förväntad tidsplan, så har examensarbetets huvudsakliga innehåll ändrats under projekttiden.

The intention of this final thesis is to look into the improvement of small and run down railway stations. Many railway stations are today derelict and decaying. The purpose of this essay is to propose alternative strategies of action by discussing the ecology, the history and the social function of the railway station. There is also an overview of projects already completed. In the analysis part of the thesis, the genius loci or the spirit of place is put forward as means of reaching a solution.

This thesis is carried out at Portsystem 2000 AB who manufactures and markets industrial doors and docking systems. The background to this thesis is that the company?s management considers that their follow-up process of cost accounts is not fully functioning.The aim with this report is to investigate and describe the present procedure of the follow-up process concerning the time of operations and come up with suggestions for improvements. This thesis is performed within the range of the following areas: Information systems, quality, processes and cost calculation. The main method we used were semi structured interviews with a fairly opened framework.

The Production Manager at Atlas Copco AB Craelius wants to adopt a lean approach to become more competitive. This thesis is an exploratory study of the subject and what it means for the business activity and its implementation process.The objective is to provide a basic understanding of lean to the company, and what this means for Atlas Copco AB Craelius. The report describes the industrial revolution in brief. This is because the company itself must understand where certain ways of looking at production management is derived from. Furthermore, it provides an understanding of Lean's origins.

In 1999 the childbearing increased, which in combination with the closure of a number ofpreschools led to the shortage and reduced capacity in available places for youngchildren. The lack of places in preschools has led us to try to find a solution to theproblem and in order to solve the problem we have interviewed personnel of preschoolsin Halmstad. The persons we met were asked to list advantages and disadvantages oftheir preschool and also to come up with innovative solutions and new ideas of how todevelop a satisfactory preschool. This was the basis for us when we drew our drawingsand our main objective was to find a new template for the development of pre-fabricatedpreschools.When drawing a new and modern preschool a number of considerations have to be made,first of all the main objective for the children is play and playtime, a second objective issound reduction and laws about sound reduction. Another consideration is how toconstruct the building and which method to be used, for instance should industrialtechniques be considered and pros and cons be listed.The main disappointment amongst the preschool personnel was that they had noinfluence in the planning stage of the new development of the preschool.

In this study we examine trade patterns between Turkey and 13 member states of the European Union and how these have developed over the time period of 1983 ? 2006. To represent the industrial and agricultural goods included in the study we look at the United Nations Standard International Trade Classification (SITC). Following, we investigate internal differences in the EU by selecting four countries each to represent the Northern and Southern countries of the EU. Internal differences were studied in relation to the amount of trade occurring between Turkey and the Northern and Southern countries.

This examination paper is a lead in the educational program Industrial Management at Jönköping University. The paper itself contains an analysis of the warehouse organisation and its efficiency at the furniture company Voice AB in Torsvik, just south of Jönköping, Sweden. The report also contains propositions to raise the level of efficiency in the company warehouse and warehouse management.In the investigation of the warehouse a number of possible improvements were found. Examples are lack of a system for labelling shelves and racks, lack of an efficient location system and development possibilities in work routines. For the empirical investigation both qualitative and quantitative methods ware used.
