A piezoelectric injector was modeled, in this Master Thesis Project which was carried out at Scania CV AB in Södertälje, in GT-Fuel. GT-Fuel is simulation program from Gamma Technology.The simulation model for the piezo injector was divided into a hydro-mechanical system and an electrical system (Piezoelectric element). First the hydro-mechanic model was duplicated from Advance Continuous Simulation Language model (ACSL). The simulation results were then compared to the ACSL, to verify that the hydro-mechanical system was modeled correctly. The simulation results for the electrical model were also compared with a Simulink model.

This was done using 8 passive houses, 4 germany and 4 swedish passive houses. Even the international and Swedish system requirements for passive houses have been addressed in this project. The goal was also to explain how and why the mechanical system in passive houses has developed to the technology used today.

The increasing complexity in the development of a configurable real-time system has emerged new principles of software techniques, such as aspect-oriented software development and component-based software development. These techniques allow encapsulation of the system's crosscutting concerns and increase the modularity of the software. The properties of a component that influences the systems performance or semantics are specified separately in entities called aspects, while basic functionality of the property still remains in the component. When building a real-time system, different sets of configurations of aspects and components can be combined, resulting in different configurations of the system. The temporal behavior of the system changes and a way to ensure the predictability of the system is needed.

I föreliggande studie undersöks hur användare upplever användbarheten i ett säkerhetskritiskt system ? Luftfartsverkets flygledningssystem SIGMA. Utifrån litteraturstudier definieras begreppen användbarhet och säkerhetskritiska system. Empirin utgörs av intervjuer med användare av SIGMA-systemet. Studien visade att användarna upplever att systemet i väsentliga delar har bra användbarhet, vilket utifrån litteraturstudier, intervjuer och efterföljande analys främst tycks bero på att systemet arbetats fram med stor användarmedverkan och att det var utarbetat specifikt för arbetsplatsen.

This project aims at investigating if the use of UML as a support to small-scale development ofan embedded system is relevant. The investigation is conducted by using UML during the initialphase of the development ofTelfafill, a filling machine by the company ?Telfafill AB?. The aimof the development of Telfafill is to separate the user interface from the control unit. In additionto this main objective, Telfafill AB would like possible changes to, and additions of,functionality of the filling machine to be investigated.Within the boundaries of this project, the development of Telfafill reached a full requirementspecification of the proposed system, and contact was made with potential external developers.No prototype construction had been started when the project ended.

En fördel med det är att de anställda blir mer involverade och motiverade till att göra ett bra arbete. Styrkortet består av flera styrtal som mäter olika prestationer. Sie-mens Industrial Turbomachinery AB, även kallat SIT AB, använder sig av balanserade styrkort och har även ett antal styrtal på individnivå på avdelningen MIP. I dagsläget är inte de styrtalen tillförlitliga och därför fick vi i uppdrag av SIT AB att undersöka hur arbetet med individuella styrtal kan förbättras.Syftet med studien är att beskriva hur MIP, en av de strategiska inköpsavdelningarna på SIT AB, arbetar med individuella styrtal idag, identifiera deras problem med individuella styrtal samt att utveckla lösningar till problemen.Vi har pratat med anställda på en av SIT AB:s strategiska inköpsavdelningar, fått skriftlig dokumentation tilldelade samt hittat relevanta teorier och det är de källorna som har utgjort grunden för vårt examensarbete.

Dagens ERP-system ger företagen möjligheten att effektivisera och kostnadsreducera sina processer genom en mängd olika funktioner. Företag sätter idag stor tillit till sina ERP-system. Transaktionerna inom och mellan de olika systemen består av en mängd data som kräver övervakning och kontroll för att reducera riskerna med felaktigheter i den finansiella rapporteringen. En typ av verktyg för detta är automatiserade kontroller, vilka kan vara antingen av förebyggande eller upptäckande karaktär. Syftet med den här studien var att beskriva och analysera hur tre stora, svenska tillverkningsföretag använder sig av automatiska kontroller i sina ERP-system samt att jämföra hur deras syn liknar eller skiljer sig från revisionsbyråerna som dagligen arbetar med att utvärdera tillförlitligheten i den finansiella informationen.

Genom att eleverna får kunskap om teknik i allmänhet och tekniska system i synnerhet får de möjlighet att påverka sina liv som medborgare i en demokrati. I litteraturen saknas idag studier om elevers uppfattningar om tekniska system. Syftet med detta examensarbete är därför att studera vilka vardagsuppfattningar elever har om de tekniska system de möter i vardagen. In Sweden, employee recruiting industry has grown concurrently with the changes in the Swedish economy. Purpose: The purpose is to better understand the recruiting industry by performing a theoretical evaluation from a cognitive perspective. Delimitation: We intended to study the cognitive characteristics of the Swedish recruitment industry.

When a company is part of an agreement there is a risk that one of the collaborators pursues similar business and takes up competition with the partner or chooses to reveal information about their partner to other parties. To avoid this, companies establish a confidentiality agreement that prohibits the parties to reveal any information. Confidentiality agreements that are eternal have become more common in Swedish contract law in commercial relations. As a result, disputes between collaborators have occurred regarding the unreasonable length and validity of the agreement at a later stage.When a confidentiality agreement is considered to be unreasonable, 36 § of the Swedish contract law (AvtL) can be applicable. The paragraph deals with the legitimacy and the opportunities of re-adjustment of the unreasonable contract.

A water treatment unit consisting of two aeration basins, two settling tanks, a residence basinand a horizontal subsurface flow wetland were used to treat wastewater from an eggprocessing factory in Brazil. The aim of this paper was to determine the efficiency of thesystem in reducing nitrogen, phosphorus, BOD5 and TSS (among other parameters) andgetting a further understanding on different kinds of constructed treatment wetlands as well astheir nitrogen and phosphorus removal processes. The wastewater from the factory consistedof process water from manufacturing and water used for cleaning, no stormwater or sewagewater entered the system. Tests were taken three times a month from October 2013 ?til April2014.

Denna examensrapport redogör för en utvecklingsprocess av en webbasserad släktforskningsapplikation, där resultat från släktforskning kan delas av flera aktiva släktforskare. Genom att grundligt undersöka olika datamodeller och befintliga applikationer försöker arbetet säkerställa grunden till en unktionell webbapplikation. Arbetet ledde till en betaversion med begränsad funktionalitet som skall vidareutvecklas i framtiden till ett GNU/GPL projekt med öppen källkod för gratis användning och nerladdning. Målet med arbetet uppfylldes i stora drag, det frångicks dock lite på grund av tidsbrist som uppstod i samband med prototypprogrammeringen..
