The token economy program, which is a method for behaviour modification, has been used worldwide for different groups within different settings in order to vhange behaviour.Research has found the token economy program to be effective. However, research is limited to quantitative and experimental studies, and Swedish research in this field is brief. Nevertheless, the program is used in several institutions n Sweden. A qualitative study in Swedish settings could therefore be useful. The purpose of this paper is to examine the experiences of a token economy program using qualitative interviews.

Vårt examensarbete handlar om ett förändringsarbete där sex förskolor går från individuella utvecklingsplaner till att använda pedagogisk dokumentation. Syftet och frågeställningen är inriktade på att studera hur pedagoger från förskolorna yttrar sig om individuella utvecklingsplaner och pedagogisk dokumentation. Den tidigare forskning som vi valt att anknyta till är den etiska aspekten på pedagogisk dokumentation, ett förändringsarbete där den pedagogiska dokumentationen är central, individuella utvecklingsplaner i fyra olika kommuner och internationell forskning om individuella utvecklingsplaner i Finland. Vi intervjuade sex pedagoger som i sin tur representerade varje förskola. Vårt resultat visar att vår undersökningsgrupp överlag är negativa till att använda den individuella utbildningsplanen i förskolan.
