Today there are many students with behavioral and developmental disorders in schools. One of these disorders is ADHD. The medical designation ADHD stands for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. AbstractAimThe aim of this study has been to survey the background of the youths in the selection group which participated in the Dream action day, to evaluate if the project succeeded and support the Swedish Ski Association with their recruiting process. The questions of issue have been: Which ethnical, demographical and economical backgrounds do the youths of the selection group have that participated in the Dream action day? Is there any common denominator among those who was drawn to continue? Do the youths want to contribute to expand the sport? Is Dream action Day a good way to reach out to the target group?MethodThrough a strategic selection made by the Swedish Ski Association 44 youths participated in a day during which they tried snowboard. They have been a part of our quantitative data collection and we have chosen six to interview. The interviews have been executed in form of semi structured interviews.ResultsThe results clearly show that few of the participants had any connection to the sport, neither from home nor from friends.

Studien genomfördes i form av tre semistrukturerade intervjuer med tolkande fenomenologisk analys.

This thesis investigates and analyses the social media strategy of eight companies. How the companies measure and evaluate their activity and investments in social media channels in general, and Facebook in particular is studied through qualitative interviews. The findings are then compared and analysed. Findings indicate that companies' social media presences to a large extent are dependent on individual employees with high levels of interest for the area and that companies that have integrated social media into their others operations see more value from their efforts..

I vår uppsats undersöker vi svenska tidningars framställning av två löperskor: Meraf Bahta och Abeba Aregawi. Vi har använt oss av teorierna National Sporting Heroes (NSH) och framing, detta för att få in den idrottsliga aspekten tillsammans med journalistiken. Vi har använt oss av både en mindre kvantitativ innehållsanalys och en kvalitativ textanalys. I den kvalitativa textanalysen koncentrerade vi oss på ordval. I den kvantitativa innehållsanalysen undersökte vi bland annat artikelns vinkel och hur ofta löperskornas bakgrunder nämndes i artiklarna.

In the year of 2011, the new CEO of AB Volvo announced a major reorganization. This reorganization was a contributing factor to the start-up of this thesis.Volvo Group Logistics Services (VGLS) is Volvo Group?s global logistics partner, which designs, manages and optimizes all of the group's incoming and outgoing logistics flows. With the reorganization, VGLS started a project regarding responsibilities around railway flows. Within the project a demand to collect logistics requirements occurred.

This study intends to analyze and compare the core litterature outlined in two specially selected teacher training establishments. The purpose of the investigation is to examine what specific perspectives they focus upon and the competences they require for teachers of tomorrow.The result shows that there are certain differences in perspective when varying the point of focus, but there are also common elements inte the core litterature between the two establishments. This analysis will provide a base for discussion on how the differences may be a result of the environment where the colleges of higher learning are situated and also on the individual needs in the surrounding area when they were first established..

Migration and giving birth are crucial decisions for animals during their life cycle, which may have lasting consequences on their population demography and fitness. Migration can entail a variety of possible effects for an individual, such as access to high quality food and reduced risk for predation. The moose (Alces alces) in northern Sweden is partially migratory and moose females are known to give birth to one or two calves. The synchrony between time of calving and timing of migration has not been compared before, especially in terms of energy maximizing and time minimizing perspectives, which may provide vital cues for fitness benefits of migration. I investigated effect of timing of birth and individual life history on distance, timing, stopovers and duration of 190 individually marked female moose that have been tracked for multiple years in ten different areas in northern Sweden.

Närvaro av närstående var en faktor som positivt påverkade patienten och utan närståendes stöd krävdes större insatser från sjukvården. Till närstående räknas anhöriga, men även andra som har nära relationer med patienten, som till exempel vänner eller grannar. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att undersöka hur litteraturen beskriver situationen för närstående till hemodialyspatienter och vilken typ av stöd de efterfrågade, samt att beskriva inkluderade studiers urvalsgrupper. Det är en beskrivande litteraturstudie där 10 kvalitativa artiklar från databasen CINAHL inkluderades.
