Målkonflikter i trafikplaneringen : En fallstudie av trafiksäkerheten i Växjö tätort
Denna uppsats behandlar hur trafikplanering möter olika mål, vilka konflikter som kan uppstå samt hur trafiksäkerheten kan öka. Arbetet är upplagt som en fallstudie och undersökningen har ägt rum i Växjö tätort.Det finns flera olika mål som står i konflikt med varandra i samhällsplaneringen och dessa konflikter kan även ses i trafikplaneringen. De mål som har granskats i denna uppsats är trafiksäkerhet, miljö och estetik. Fokus har legat på hur trafiksäkerheten påverkas när det estetiska och miljöfrågorna ska involveras i planeringen. Det finns risk att trafiksäkerheten hamnar i skymundan av de andra målen, särskilt när det kommer till miljöfrågor.I Växjö kommun arbetas det aktivt med trafikfrågor, både ur ett miljöperspektiv som ett säkerhetsperspektiv.
Elektromekanisk bildstabilisering för IR-kamera
Under senare år har IR-kameror blivigt allt vanligare i kommersiella sammanhang. Detta beror framförallt på att priset på de detektorer som används för att mäta IR-strålning har sjunkigt och därmed även priset på kamerorna. IR-kameror avsedda för termografi har idag många likheter med digitalkameror för visuellt ljus och mycket av den funktionalitet som man finner hos dessa IR-kameror är hämtade från kameraindustrin.I och med det att de handhållna systems som används för termografi genererar bilder med bättre kvalitet börjar effekterna av ofrivilliga vibrationer, som till exempel handskak, att bli märkbara i mätresultaten. Detta märks framförallt när mätningar skall göras med hjälp av system bestyckade med smalvinkliga objektiv.Olika lösningar för optisk bildstabilisering är idag vanligt förekommande inom kameraindustrin. Lösningarna bygger ofta på att ett linselement i objektivet eller att hela bildsensorn kan förflyttas i sina respektive plan.

The purpose of this study was to investigate how the planning organisation in the municipality adapts to new regulations for impact assessment of comprehensive plans required by the Planning and Building act. Secondly the purpose was to partly participate in the early stages of the planning process and thereby indicate and identify possible environmental impacts regarding the aspects of land and water. This was done as a case study in a well defined part of the process.
Skolan som demokratiprojekt
The purpose of this thesis is to examine if the school's democracy project is successful. The objective is examined in relation to two specific questions. The first question is whether students, after completing their studies in civics A, understand the relationship between the concepts of human rights and democracy. The second is if the students understood the concepts of practical significance and impact on society and the individual. Variation theory comes from the phenomenographic theories and is central to this work. The approach to learning, in this essay, is a change in how a person experiences, understands or perceives a phenomenon. Variation theory focuses on a learning object and contextualization sees as crucial to how the individual perceives the object.The study is based on a quantitative research method in the form of a survey at a secondary school. A number of students may respond to valuation questions about how they perceive democracy and human rights in practical situations. The results are related to curriculum goals.The results of the study is not positive in relation to curriculum objectives, where many students respond negatively to questions..

Rapporten handlar om rörelsehindrades studie- och yrkesval och deras erfarenheter av studie- och yrkesvägledningen under studieåren. Undersökningens syfte är att visa på om respondenterna utsatts för ?cooling down? av sina studie- och yrkesvägledare. Den har genomförts medelst nio intervjuer med unga rörelsehindrade personer. Intervjuerna har analyserats med två kvalitativa analysmetoder, meningskoncentrering och dikotomi.
Individuell utvecklingsplan- Vad händer sen? : En studie i hur en lärare säger sig uppfatta den egna uppföljningen utav individuella utvecklingsplaner
This study describes and analyzes how one teacher perceives her monitoring of the students´individual plans of development as expressed in the Education Act chapter 10, 13§. Today there are nonational guidelines published in the monitoring area for these plans of development, although this is anobligation for all teachers in Sweden. Also, it presents some students´ opinion on this and how themonitoring affects their learning.The progressive perspective on learning with the content spirit of the concepts responsibility,participation and experience, as well as research in this field provides the background for the study.The most important features of the data were presented in relation to these three concepts and thecommon themes found between them.The study reveales that the monitoring of the individual plans of development can never be taken forgranted due to the absence of national guidelines on this matter. Either the intention of this absence isto hand over to a professional profession, such as teachers, to decide themselves how the work shouldbe designed, or they are not capable of doing this based on their education and the other conditionsgiven in their work. The conclusion is therefore that it is up to each school and each teacher to decideon how to work with this matter..
Rödluvan och vargen : En kvalitativ textanalys av debatter och adaptationer i barnlitteraturen
This two years master?s thesis is a review and exploration of the Swedish debate concerning children?s literature from the 19th century to the present, as well as the evaluation and analysis of four adaptations of the tale Red Riding Hood. The aims are to identify how ideas and values regarding the role of children?s literature in society have developed over time and to contribute with a knowledge base for continued reflection and discussion on the subject of children?s reading and mediation of children?s literature in public libraries.The theory and method used in the thesis, is primarily based on the discourse analysis of Michel Foucault. I have identified four main discourses: the educational discourse, the liberation discourse, the politicized dis- course and the popular discourse.
Vem sätter betyg - Läraren eller Skolverket? : Elever och lärares syn på implementeringen av kursplanen för Samhällskunskap A i gymnasieskolan.
Our study examining how well the guidelines, from Skolverket (School Department), aboutgrades in the course "Samhällskunskap A" are implemented in the Swedish Upper SecondarySchool. The study focus on both teachers and students. To discover which knowledge the bothgroups have, we have used two different methods. The students have answered a survey,which was based on the phrases from the course plan "Samhällskunskap A" about grades. Thesurvey wanted to see how well the students could match the correct phrases with the gradesteps (the Swedish school uses three grade steps).
Plan- och bygglagens krav på detaljplanebestämmelser : En granskning i Skåne län
Kommunen har möjlighet att med hjälp av en detaljplan reglera användningen av mark- och vattenområden. Detaljplanens planbestämmelser är rättsligt bindande efter att planen har vunnit laga kraft och vad som får regleras med dem anges i 4 kapitlet plan- och bygglagen (PBL). Kapitlet är uttömmande vilket betyder att endast det som står uppräknat där får regleras. Kapitlet ger även krav på planbestämmelsernas tydlighet. I PBL finns även att läsa att det är en kommunal angelägenhet att planlägga mark och vatten vilket leder till att kommunen har planmonopol. I de fall kommunen använder sig av planbestämmelser i en detaljplan som inte har stöd i PBL:s 4 kapitel innebär det att gällande lagstiftning ej följs.

In the essay, the balance between being an educator and a mother of a child with autism is explored in respect to how the roles might influence the actions of a pre-school teacher. Writing is used as a method of reflection, it gives the teacher a chance to take a step back and view her practical experiences from a novel perspective; conclusions are recounted throughout the teachers narrative. The essay is based on the following questions; which problems might arise in the meeting with parents such as Adams where there is a suspicion of autism for the child? Which advantages/disadvantages might the teacher?s personal experience of autism have for the role as educator? Att tala är silver, att tiga är guld? : - En kvalitativ studie om interaktion i samband med talad engelska under engelsklektionerna
Since the 1990?s the Swedish school system has undergone major and recurring structural reforms. Two of the most comprehensive changes has been the shift of primary schools as an integral part of the welfare state to the responsibility of the municipalities as well as the introduction of free school choice for the students. Through two months of participant observations and semi-structured interviews this thesis seeks to answer the question of how these reforms has come to effect the work of teachers in a medium sized public school in a small municipality in the outskirts of Stockholm. Earlier research has shown that public schools in socio-economically vulnerable areas are disadvantaged due to the reformation of the school system (Beach & Sernhede, 2011; Östh, Andersson, & Malmberg, 2013).
Informationsfrihet och IT-användning i demokratifrämjande syfte
The potential of information technology as a means to invigorate democratic practise is constantly under discussion. Regardless of the differing opinions as to the most suitable way to utilise IT, there are certain democratic core values that have to be considered. One of these is freedom of information, defined by us as the right of every citizen to seek, obtain and express information. The aim of this study is to explore whether the use of IT as a means to enhance democracy can strengthen the citizens right to freedom of information. As an instrument for analysis we use an article by Jan van Dijk, professor of communication science.

The aim of this study is to describe and examine the characteristics of inclusion of children with disabilities in the kinder garden and primary school in Belarus. The data in this study were collected through interviews with special teachers and staff at the Developing and Rehabilitation center. The interviews were supported by child-observations and a literature study. Staying in boarding schools prevents handicap students from integrating with the society as well as getting social experience. Integrated education demands the combination of two regularities: education of children with normal development and special education of children with psycho-physiological problems.
