Arbetet behandlar utvecklingen av ett grundläggande element till en framtida webbaserad community för dataspelsutvecklare. Grundelementet är en användarprofil som inom communityn kommer att åskådliggöras i ett grafiskt webbgränssnitt för alla registrerade användare. Användarprofilens syfte är att presentera användaren på ett attraktivt sätt för såväl spelindustrin som andra spelutvecklare som söker samarbete och bekantskap. Gränssnittet utvecklas ur ett användarcentrerat perspektiv genom den metodologi som McCracken och Wolfe (2004) presenterar. Utvecklingsprocessen inleds med att kartlägga marknaden, de tänkta slutanvändarna och deras behov samt den svenska spelindustrins intresse av en sådan community.

The purpose of this study was to examine the narrative skill of sixyear-olds in terms of macrostructure and cohesion, and its relation tonarrative content, auditory attention, auditory short-term memory and threemeasures of word retrieval. A group comparison of macrostructure andcohesion was also performed between children with and without epilepsy.The material consisted of audio recordings of 44 children (18 with epilepsyand 26 from a reference group) retelling the story Nelli-sagan (Holmberg &Sahlén, 2000). No correlation was found between content and macrostructureor cohesion, but several between the latter two. Auditory short-termmemory and word retrieval without pictures showed several correlationswith macrostructure as well as cohesion. No differences in macrostructure orcohesion were found between the children with epilepsy and the referencegroup.

Som examensarbete har jag producerat en film om Cannabis. En pilot om 22 minuter avsedd att användas som pitch inför en större dokumentär.I piloten har jag intervjuat fyra personer med olika erfarenheter och åsikter kring ämnet. Professor Ted Goldberg, professor Fred Nyberg, socialsekreterare Helene Adamee och en före detta cannabismissbrukare.Dessa intervjuer har jag därefter redigerat ihop till en pilot som tar upp ämnen som varför ungdomar börjar röka cannabis, det faktum att det pågår en förändring inom den globala drogpolitiken som kan få konsekvenser för Sverige, samt olika åsikter kring vår aktuella narkotikapolitik.     Jag spelar själv en aktiv roll i piloten som en journalist, och före detta cannabismissbrukare, som nu är på jakt efter svaren till de frågor mitt missbruk genererat..

Detta arbete undersöker hur man kan bearbeta och formulera upplevelser av en film med hjälp av figural analys. Denna analys har jag hittat i filmvetenskapens fält. Syftet är att med hjälp av denna vidga filmens möjligheter som verktyg i skolan. Tillsammans med en fenomenologisk ansats och gestaltande metod söker jag en didak-tisk metod/upplägg för elever att formulera upplevelser, som ett komplement till tra-ditionell filmanalys.Med utgångspunkt i Svenska filminstitutets filmhandledningar konstaterar jag vad som inte behandlas när man i skolan ser en film. I filmhandledningarna uppmanas eleverna till en diskussion från frågor som rör värdegrunden, och upplevelsen av filmens bilder lämnas därhän.

The aim of this paper was to discover the functions and workings of personal networks and their advantages for self-employed sound designers and producers whose focus was upon the moving image (film, advertising, tv, etc). Investigations on how entrepreneurs develop their networks were made, as well as inquiries on how these networks are used for generating work. Another important aspect perused was whether or not the networks are dependent on specific geographical locations in order to function. A case study and comparative analysis was undertaken, based upon three qualitative interviews with entrepreneurs whose operations shared several similar characteristics. The results pointed out the importance of constantly making new contacts, and maintaining and managing current ones.

The main purpose of this Master?s thesis is to investigate the experience of art students and their attitudes and use of information during the last years of their Master?s degree. I also examine their opinions about the art education in general. The theoretical framework encompasses a sociocultural approach within the field of psychology-pedagogy and library- as well as information science. The empirical material has been collected through qualitative interviews with seven students studying at an art school in Sweden.

Fetma utgör ett folkhälsoproblem. Fokusering på vikt och olika risker med fetma är otillräckligt för att förstå hur personers hälsorelaterade livskvalitet påverkas. Studiens syfte var att beskriva självskattad hälsorelaterad livskvalitet hos personer med fetma. Kvantitativ ansats valdes och 100 personer med ett BMI mer än 30 besvarade ett självskattande instrument, SF-36. Dataanalys genomfördes med korrelations test för att få styrkan i samband mellan variabler.

The relationship between the pet and it's owner is a very important and interesting issue. Unfortunately there is not so much research on this and in addition to that Swedish veterinarian education does not put much emphasis on pet's role in society or their pattern of behaviour nor treatment. This thesis is based on an opinion poll that 20 dog owners and 20 cat owners contributed. The main purpose of the thesis was to compare the relationships that the pet (dog or cat) and its owner can have. The issues such as the pet owner's attitude to his/her pet, how the pet owner percieves and interprets the signals from the animal, and what they think about the natural behaviours and needs that their pets (might) have. The results show that dog- and cat owners are people who generally love animals, that they used to have even other animal species in the past, but when it comes to choice between a new dog or a new cat they choose the one that they previously have had and that they are used to. Most of a dog owners choose the dog to be their pet because of the company while the majority of a cat owners choose cat because cats are independent and they are used to cats.

Innehåll: Frågorna som jag ställer i min uppsats handlar om att få kunskap om vad som kän-netecknar elever med positiv inställning till läsning, men även hur dessa upplever den skönlit-terära läsningen av den utvalda romanen i skolan. Det klassiska problemet i svenskundervis-ningen handlar oftast om att elever inte vill läsa skönlitteratur. I denna uppsats belyser jag den motsatta sidan av detta mynt. De elever som deltagit i studien tillhör de som är positiva till skönlitterär läsning och uppvisar goda resultat i samband med den delen av svenskämnet. The aim of this thesis is to examine the properties of the municipalities in Sweden that influence the choice of being a certified Fairtrade city. The independent variables which are used in the statistical analysis are municipal governance, local tax rate, whether there is an university and/or university college in the municipality, average income and higher education in the municipality. The variables are examined by logistic regression. Since there are no statistical data on ethical procurement, this exogenous variable isn?t included in the regression.

Organizations today face big challenges as a result of increased exposure. A distinct and recognizable identity is required to differentiate. Consistent and coherent communication about what the organization stands for and where it is going is crucial if you want to succeed. This is a case study of how organizational members from two real estate companies that have merged into one, perceive their merged organization. The method is depth interviews with management representatives and focus group interviews with members from different levels of the company.

Today the school is a given place for preventing social problems. The school struggles continuously to live up to the expectations of balancing preventive social work with pedagogy in a satisfactory way.The purpose of this essay is to get a picture of priorities of social work in school. I want to know what it is that affects and controls the principal's decision about what kind of social project they will accept and be a part of.This essay shows that only one of the eleven principals interviewed apply projects based on evidence when they decide about participation in a social project. Instead, the decisions are based on references from other schools. The reason why the principals do not base their judgement on projects which are based on evidence is because they consider the search for results too time consuming.When there is no requirement that a certain part of the social work in a school must be based on evidence, it leads to the children taking part in different social projects which we can not guarantee are good for them.One solution can be to guide the principals through a national social teachingplan, which can assure that social work based on evidence are being applied in the municipality schools as well as the independent schools..

I detta examensprojekt står de allmänna valen till riksdag, landstingoch kommun i centrum, och problematiken med detminskade intresset för dessa.I syfte att öka kännedom och engagemang om valet hos förstagånsväljarna,som är den grupp med lägst valdeltagande i senareval, har målet varit att färdigställa två informativa och underhållandefilmsekvenser.Längderna på filmerna har begränsats till en minut respektivetio?femton sekunder, då det tänkta forumet för filmerna ärtiden som finns mellan programblocken i TV, vanligtvis fylld medreklam eller trailers.Efterforskningar om valet och berörda myndigheters roll ochpolicy, samt analys av formgivning relaterad till, eller liknande mittprojekt har lagt en grund för konceptframtagandet.Den praktiska fasen har bestått av arbete med manus, storyboard,animatic, animation, testvisning, ljudinspelning, och efterproduktion,och resulterat i två filmsekvenser..

The purpose of this essay is to examine and compare how womanliness and manliness reveal themselves in different children?s books, mainly focusing on the concept of gender, in both text and images aspects. The questions I have chosen to interrogate are the following:How is the male and female role represented in children's books from a gender perspective, in both images and texts? What gender is generally the main character in children's books? What clothes are the characters wearing in children's books? What kind of occupations do the characters practice in children's books? What kind of qualities or attributes do the characters possess in children's books?When it comes to the selection of the method, I have chosen the use a qualitative method, where I use both a text and image analysis. The essay is based on Hirdman's and Hardning's gender theories and alsow on Nikolajeva's theorie about male and female.

The standard model concerning the relationship between perception and motility is linear and one-way. It depicts the flow between the two as moving from sensation to perception to representation to computation, and finally, to motility and action. According to this model, animal being is basically a bundle of reflexes. But what can correctly be considered a bundle of reflexes from a natural science point of view, doesn't necessarily have to be true. This conception does not take into consideration the more complex interactions between motility and perception that constitutes, or generates, animal and human beings.
