The purpose of this thesis is to investigate the ways in which emotion regulation and mood affects risk taking when it comes to decision making competence. Emotion regulation is an essential part of the attachment process, the development of an autonomous self and functional stress coping systems. Research indicates that there is a relation between a distorted emotion regulation and some psychological disorders like depression, PTSD, anxiety disorders and borderline (or instable emotional personality disorder). There is a definite need to analyze the relation between emotion regulation and decision making competence since it is relatively unexplored. A digital questionnaire was distributed amongst the participants.

About 80 % of all Swedish dairy cows are kept in tie-stalls, but loose housing is increasing, probably because it is more profitable for the farmer. The design of the floors is of cruicial importance to the cows well-being. Traditionally, the most common type of floor in the alleys of a cubicle system still is a slatted manure-draining floor made of concrete. The typical Swedish design has 125-mm slats and 40-mm slots, maximally. With too wide slots, there is an Increased risk of injuries to the claws when the cow makes a hasty move.

För att förhindra uppkomst av trycksår är det viktigt att identifiera patienter med ökad risk för trycksår samt att aktivt arbeta med preventiva omvårdnadsåtgärder. Ett strukturerat arbetssätt kan göras utifrån kvalitetsregistret Senior Alerts rekommendationer. Senior Alert är inriktat på förebyggande vård av äldre över 65 år och i registret registreras bland annat risk för trycksår, planerade åtgärder samt sjuksköterskans utvärdering av de insatta åtgärderna. Syftet med studien var att kartlägga täckningsgrad, utförda riskbedömningar och planerade åtgärder avseende risk för trycksår i kvalitetsregistret Senior Alert.

Tanken medmodellen är att hantera risk övergripande istället för isolerat på separata områden iföretaget. De största fördelarna med modellen sägs vara bättre beslutsfattande inomorganisationen, att riskmedvetenheten ökar och att intressenter får bättre förtroendeför företaget.Syfte: Syftet med denna uppsats är att jämföra den teoribildning om ERM som växerfram med praktisk erfarenhet från icke-finansiella företag som implementeratmodellen. Målet är också att skapa förståelse för både för- och nackdelar medmodellen.Avgränsning: Undersökningen har inriktats på icke-finansiella företag eftersom färrestudier har gjorts inom området.Metod: En kvalitativ fallstudie av två icke-finansiella företag har genomförts med enabduktiv ansats och en blandning av explorativ och deskriptiv design.Resultat: Undersökningen visar att ERM skapar vissa positiva effekter för företagenmen också att en del problemområden har identifierats. De begränsningar i modellensom uppstår anses vara nära relaterat till svårigheten med att hantera mjuka risker ochproblemet med att ERM kan bidra med för stor passivitet i verksamheten dåminimering av risk blir mer omfattande.

Bakgrund: Studier visar att ungefär var fjärde patient som vårdas på sjukhus har riskför att utveckla undernäring. Komplikationer av undernäring orsakar lidande förindividen samt förlänger vårdtiden vilket leder till ökade kostnader för vården.Problematiken med undernäring väntas öka då antalet äldre i samhället ökar. Äldre är enutsatt grupp där risk för undernäring, ätproblem och sömnlöshet är vanligtförekommande. Frågan är om risk för undernäring och ätproblem är vanligare hos äldresom lider av sömnbrist. Syftet: Var att undersöka om det finns ett samband mellansömnlöshet och risk för undernäring samt mellan sömnlöshet och ätproblem hos äldrepatienter.

This master thesis in economics discusses the time use of today as well as the observed trends in time use over the last 20 years in Sweden. This is done by analysing time-use and consumption data at the microeconomic level, i.e. by explaining individual behaviour given the economic assumption of a rational behaviour. We reach the conclusion that the value of time is an important explanatory variable concerning the rationality in that time is used differently by different individuals and in the changed use of time. Furthermore, other variables such as social norms and the process benefit of a certain activity, i.e.

Bakgrund och problem: För att öka stabiliteten i det finansiella systemet utvecklades ettinternationellt regelverk för kapitaltäckning, Basel I. Regelverket innebar att banker skullehålla ett visst minimikapital för att skydda sig mot risker. Det visade sig dock att regelverketinte gav ett fullständigt skydd mot risk, vilket ledde fram till ett reviderat regelverk, Basel 2.Operativa risker har blivit allt vanligare på senare år bland annat tillföljd av globaliseringen.Det nya regelverket innebär att operativ risk liksom kreditrisk och marknadsrisk har blivit enegen riskkategori. De metoder som används för att kvantifiera operativ risk är fortfarande iinledningsfasen. Detta ihop med att det är en svår gränsdragning av begreppet operativ risk tillandra risker, gör det till ett relevant område att studera.

Studien hade en beskrivande ochjämförande design med kvantitativ ansats. Datat inhämtades från kvalitetsregistret Senioralert. Deltagarna i studien utgjordes av 341 personer från en kommun i Mellansverige.Resultatet visade att 41,9 % hade risk för eller var undernärda enligt MNA-SF. BMI <22poäng hade 23,5 %.

Municipal safety work is an issue frequently discussed. The new legislation about accident prevention obeys the Swedish municipality to present an action program for accident prevention. In Borlänge municipality there has been no sanctioned proposal for a program. This report presents the problems found and gives proposals for improvements in the future safety work. The guiding words should be unambiguousness, able to control and not too complicated.

Producing a building is a long and complex process. It consists of several parts, from the feasibility study and design stage onto the construction and finally the management of the building. The design process is a critical part of the process where construction plans are made. The quality of the plans affect the production phase in great extent and faulty plans can pose a risk for extra costs for all parts in the process. The cost of producing dwellings has increased the last years and the detail design process is one of many phases where improvements can mean cost savings within the whole building process.This report aims to point at parts within the detail design process which could be more efficient, regarding communication, follow-up and time planning, and to give suggestions for improvements.

It is now the consumers that hold an increasing amount of power over com-panies and not the other way around. This change in consumer behaviour has caused an identity crisis for traditional advertising, and companies are now searching for new ways of reaching their target audience. The purpose of this combined qualitative and quantitative case study is to examine possible risks and possibilities that a retailing company face when communicating through Facebook. Data has been collected through in-depth interviews with company representatives combined with a quantitative study of the company's Facebook followers in order to answer the questions of (1) which possibilities and risks a retailing company face through the use of a Facebook fanpage and (2) if there is a differ-ence in the attitude and behaviour of active respectively passive followers that may have been caused by a retailing company's marketing communication on Facebook.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to observe and describe the work environment of veterinary nurses, focused on fysical ergonomics, in a Small Animal hospital. Method: An observational study was made in the stationary ward in an animal hospital. The observation was based on a checklist from the Swedish Work Environment Authority. Six veterinary nurses was observed over three hours when they nursed the patients. The checklist contained paragraphs concerning work postures, manuell work, knowledge, competence and the design of the workplace. Result: The results was divided into three categories; red, yellow and green.
