AbstractThis master thesis was performed at Scania transmission department in Södertälje, where the manufacturing of gears is done. Today a large amount of manual handling is performed between the machining and the hardening process. Most of the manual handling is done at the heat treatment department. The purpose of this master thesis is to give a suggestion on how to reduce or eliminate the manual handling at the heat treatment department. The possibility to use the same packaging throughout the processes will also be investigated.

Around the year 2007, several news segments appeared in the Swedish media with focus on the social website Facebook. At the time, an increasing number of people in Sweden started to join the social platform and accepted the terms of contract to get access of the website, without further consideration of what they were agreeing to. This resulted in some private individuals felt violated when it turned out that major points of the contract entail that user?s private information, photos, videos and other publications that was shared on the website, were considered property of Facebook cooperation. Even though this incident made users more aware of what they should, and should not publish on the website, the episode did not result in users closing there accounts on Facebook.

The main objective of this study was to evaluate animal welfare situation in Ethiopia during slaughter and to investigate chain activities between animal markets and Kera abattoir in Addis Abeba. In total, 442 animals were observed within 52 groups of cattle; both ox and calves with different breeds. The study was divided into four different sets of data collection; behavioural observations, recording of slaughter process, observation during transport and interview. During the behavioural observations, an ethogram was used with 46 behaviours observed, categorised into 5 different groups. The data was calculated using Excel and SAS. This study deals with one of the most discussed work environmental issues in the modern society of Sweden today - work related stress, its causes and how stress can affect people in their working situation. Our study is based on a questionnaire among aid handling officers in two municipalities of the middle of Sweden, and two interviews with their directors. We found that aid handling officers has a complex occupational role. We also found that the officers in these two municipalities experiences about the same level of stress.Further in the study, we will deal with whatever could be the cause of the stressful situation, using the demand/control model of Karasek and Theorell. The result shows that despite the similarity of the stress experience, the cause was shown to be different.

This study is focused on small scale water and wastewater handling in Sweden. The study is divided into two major parts; the first describes common methods for water- and wastewater handling and the second part is a case study on three small and expensive systems in Gällivare municipality, in the north of Sweden. In the case study, abilitys for the local government to hand over unwanted systems to the water users is investigated and found to be a plausible solution to cut costs for two out of the three studied systems. In the third case, water and wastewater systems is not recommended to be handed over but other ways of cutting costs are suggested..

Sweden has long been nonaligned in peace with the aim to remain neutral in the event of an outbreak of war. Building confidence for this neutrality was important for Sweden during the Cold War. This placed high demands on the Swedish Navy to detect and repel violations of Swedish territorial waters. The archives, which contain the secret reports on the violations that occurred during the 1960s, have recently been opened up.The purpose of this essay is to study how the incidents that took place in Swedish territorial waters in the 1960s were managed and to examine if the handling of them was different depending on whether they were caused by the east or west side. Furthermore, the aim is also to try to categorize and interpret these measures from the two pairs of concepts of deterrence and reassurance and integration and screening.In making it possible to answer the questions, all the reports - 66 altogether - which refers to the incidents which occurred during the years 1962 through 1969, have been studied.

Syfte: Studiens syfte har varit att utifrån en socialpedagogisk modell bestående av fyra teman; relation, läroprocesser, genus och praktisk handling, undersöka tre verksamheter inom socialt arbete. Vidare handlar det om att försöka förstå och förklara hur de yrkesverksamma handlar och reflekterar i arbetet, utifrån den socialpedagogiska modellen.Metod: Kvalitativ metod har använts vid materialinsamlingen, bearbetningen och analysen av data, genomgående under hela forskningsprocessen. Genom fem halvt strukturerade intervjuer har det empiriska materialet samlats in. Intervjuerna har kompletterats med deltagande observationer av de yrkesverksamma i arbetet.Slutsatser: Studiens slutsatser är att de professionella arbetar utifrån den socialpedagogiska modellen när de; skapar relationer med vardaglig och informell prägel, utformar läroprocesser i syfte att främja social förändring, synliggör genusstrukturer genom reflektion och handling, samt använder aktiviteter och samarbetsövningar i organiseringen av arbetet. The increased market of industrial produced wooden buildings results that the time and the cost which the packaging of prefabricated building elements consume, is experienced to be in greater need of development than before and demands a better solution. The aim with this dissertation was to discover how the development of the handling of the packaging can improve the packaging process. The goal was to present improvement proposals for a simplified and thereby a more efficient production in time and cost perspective.The packaging process which includes packaging, handling, storage and transport were studied. Studiens syfte var att undersöka och analysera pedagogers erfarenheter av en skriftligutformad plan för att motverka diskriminering och kränkande behandling i förskolan. Det ären kvalitativ studie som bygger på intervjuer med pedagoger på förskolor.Frågeställningarna som låg till grund för studien var: Hur upplever pedagogerna processenkring utformandet av den skriftligt utformade planen för att motverka diskriminering ochkränkande handling? Syftet med denna uppsats var att beskriva under vilka omständigheter skolpsykologer upplever att deras kompetens tillvaratas i elevhälsan. Sju intervjuer genomfördes utifrån Critical Incident Technique och analyserades med innehållsanalys. Resultatet visade att 1) insats som genererar psykologisk insikt hos mottagaren, 2) kontroll över yrkesroll, 3) anpassning till given organisationsform, 4) ledning som har psykologisk kunskap och 5) välfungerande elevhälsoteam är viktiga omständigheter för att psykologisk kompetens ska tillvaratas.
